Thus, Liszt didn’t retreat but advanced instead, playing it real, engaging in tough tasks, "If I were to marry your daughter, sir, how would you react then?"
The result was that after being caught secretly meeting, Liszt almost got killed.
Fortunately, the girl insisted and even pledged her life; Liszt was indeed good at making money, so it was left at that.
