Chapter 59 GG gang, NO GG Lest REMATCH OLD MAN
The training room on the lower deck of the ship was illuminated by a dim blue light. The light pierced through a row of curved glass windows displaying an underwater view. Deep blue water and air bubbles could be seen flowing slowly behind the thick glass. The room's atmosphere was filled with the sound of footsteps scraping against the wooden floor.
Thud.
Amor launched a straight right kick toward Illfa's head. Illfa raised both of her arms to cover the side of her head. A loud clash occurred. Illfa's body slid back one step due to the force of the kick.
Amor smiled faintly. He pulled his right leg back, spun his body away from Illfa, and launched a spinning kick using his left heel.
Swish.
Illfa widened her eyes. She jumped backward just in time, letting the tip of Amor's shoe sweep empty air in front of her face.
"Hoh. Hoh." Illfa chuckled softly. "You learn fast."
Amor did not reply to that remark. He stepped quickly, closing the distance.
Thud. Thud. Thud.
Amor unleashed a barrage of straight punches and hooks toward her face. Illfa parried those punches using her left arm, then launched a counter hook toward Amor's jaw.
Swish.
Amor ducked his body to dodge Illfa's hook. He pulled his right fist downward, preparing to deliver an uppercut to the chin.
Illfa saw the movement of Amor's shoulder. She immediately closed both of her elbows, covering her chest and face to block the attack from below.
But right at that second, Amor stopped the movement of his right hand. He twisted his hips and smashed his left fist straight into Illfa's right ribs, which were left wide open without defense.
Thud.
Crash.
Illfa's body was thrown hard to the side. She fell and rolled, crashing into the carved wooden wall in the corner of the room.
"Cough." Illfa coughed hard. She curled up, holding the right side of her stomach. "Cough."
"Fah." Illfa spat on the floor. "Argh, it hurts so much, bastard. It hurts so much."
Illfa smiled broadly. She slowly stood up, raising both hands level with her face, and reset her stance. "Once more."
On the other side of the room, Aldes, Leafa, Mila, and Vival sat leaning against the wooden wall. Sweat soaked their clothes, except for Vival, whose entire body and face were tightly covered by a cloak and mask.
"They are crazy." Mila shook her head. She laid her back onto the wooden floor and stared at the ceiling. "We tied, right. We tied."
Vival turned slowly toward Mila. "I did not expect your abilities to be that terrifying when combined with Aldes's martial arts techniques."
Mila raised her head, looking confused at Vival. "Huh? So I was not terrifying before?"
Vival did not answer the question. He turned his face away, staring at the small fishes swimming behind the underwater glass window. "I could have killed you very easily before."
Mila smiled sharply. She sat up, crossing her legs. "Hoh. Let's have a rematch, old man."
"No thank you." Vival shrugged his shoulders slowly. "I am already satisfied defeating you. I do not need to prove myself anymore."
"Hah!" Mila shouted loudly, pointing at Vival's face. "Hey bastard. The fight earlier was a draw."
"That is just your feeling," Vival answered flatly.
Mila turned to Aldes. The blond-haired man was daydreaming, staring at the underwater scenery behind the glass.
"Aldes." Mila called out with a loud voice. "Who do you think won earlier? It was a draw, right. A draw, right. I hit his stomach a few times and landed an absolute punch on that ridiculous mask of his."
"A true winner does not need to explain anything," Vival interrupted with a proud tone.
Leafa shook her head looking at their antics. "You guys."
Aldes blinked his eyes, waking up from his daydream. "Huh. Yes."
Aldes looked at Mila and Vival alternately. "I think both of you are still lacking."
"Lacking?" Mila widened her eyes in disbelief. She stood upright, then pointed to the middle of the wooden arena. "Rematch, old man. Rematch right now."
Swish.
Vival was suddenly already standing in the middle of the arena.
Mila smiled broadly, grinning. "I will finish you." The girl ran approaching Vival.
Aldes laid his body down, resting his head on Leafa's thighs. "I salute those who still have leftover energy for training."
Leafa smiled. She looked down and gently stroked Aldes's blond hair. "You do not have any energy?"
Aldes chuckled. "Of course not."
"But well, I did not expect they could master the techniques I taught so quickly," Aldes said.
*If they were on Earth, maybe I would set up a boxing camp and register them to compete,* Aldes thought. *Imagine the money I could make.*
"Training Division 0 members with your power level." Leafa muttered quietly above Aldes's face. "Do you know how amazing that is?"
Aldes did not immediately answer. He tilted his head up, staring at Leafa's face from below. His view was slightly obstructed by the front shape of the girl's body.
*Mountains. My view is slightly blocked,* Aldes muttered in his mind.
"It is not amazing," Aldes answered. "If they used their true strength, I would die in less than two seconds."
Aldes sighed. "If they master everything I taught, they could kill me even when they are in their weakest versions."
Leafa snorted softly. "Come on."
Leafa gently pinched both of Aldes's cheeks. "You are making me annoyed today. Did you forget you also defeated me."
Aldes furrowed his brow in confusion. "Huh? Where. When."
Leafa widened her smile, staring straight into Aldes's eyes.
Aldes's eyes widened instantly. He realized the meaning of that stare and smile. "Come on. That was not a fight. That was not. That was not. That was not."
Aldes turned his face to the side, then bit the surface of Leafa's thigh.
"Ah. Aldes, ouch." Leafa jolted in surprise feeling the bite.
Aldes immediately stood up, avoiding Leafa's hands. He walked quickly toward the middle of the arena. "Time for training."
Leafa laughed freely, staring at Aldes's back. "You are so funny."
