Amor was pushed back by the kick. But the soles of his feet immediately gripped the wooden floor.
*Swish.*
Amor dashed to Aldes's right side.
As Aldes prepared to twist his body to the right, Amor had already changed direction.
*Swish.*
He dashed to the left side.
Aldes's eyes moved quickly to the left.
Amor returned to the right.
Aldes turned his head to the left.
Amor shifted to the right.
*What is he trying to do? What?* Aldes thought. His pupils darted left and right monitoring the rapid movements.
*Swish.*
Amor closed the distance. He aimed a high kick targeting the left side of Aldes's head.
Aldes raised his left arm and blocked Amor's shin with his forearm.
*Thud.*
Amor retracted his leg and immediately struck Aldes wildly. He threw a right straight, a left cross, and an uppercut. The barrage of heavy punches forced Aldes to step backward.
*Thud. Thud. Thud.*
Aldes parried quickly. He deflected Amor's straight punch using his palm, ducked under the cross, and tucked both elbows tightly in front of his chest to block the uppercut.
Amor dashed forward, preparing to land a sharp left kick to the side of the head.
*Swish.*
Aldes raised his left shoulder and blocked the kick from the side.
*Thud.*
As Amor lowered his left leg and prepared to twist his body for a follow up right kick, Aldes took a long step back. He reset their fighting distance, letting Amor's shoe only cleave the empty air.
Aldes raised his right hand. Red energy gathered in his palm. He fired glowing red energy ball projectiles at Amor.
*Swish. Swish. Swish.*
Amor tilted his head to the right, shifted to the left, then ducked. He easily dodged the barrage of shots. The red balls missed, hitting the wooden floor and the ship's glass wall.
*Thud. Thud.*
The balls did not shatter. The projectiles stuck firmly to the surfaces and continued to emit a thick red glow.
Aldes raised his hand and snapped his fingers.
*Click.*
Dozens of glowing red energy balls appeared floating in the air right behind Aldes's back.
Aldes snapped his fingers again.
*Swish. Swish. Swish. Swish.*
All the energy balls shot simultaneously toward Amor.
Amor raised both his hands. He deflected the balls one by one. His palms moved rapidly, knocking down the red energy projectiles.
*Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud.*
At the exact same time, while Amor was focused on deflecting, the red balls stuck to the floor and glass suddenly disappeared.
*Swish.*
Aldes exploited Amor's blind spot. He dashed forward and was already right in front of Amor.
Amor widened his eyes. He jerked his head to the left, anticipating a straight punch attack from the front.
Aldes smiled. He rotated his upper body outward clockwise. Carrying the momentum of his hip rotation, Aldes landed a spinning elbow right on the side of Amor's jaw.
*Bam!*
Amor flinched hard. His head was pushed to the side.
Without a pause, Aldes pulled his right elbow up and slammed it sharply straight down, hitting Amor's solar plexus.
*Bam!*
Amor's breath caught in his throat.
Aldes rotated his hips again. He channeled one hundred percent full telekinetic energy into his right fist and landed a solid straight punch to Amor's chest.
*Bam!*
Amor's body was thrown violently backward through the air.
*Crash!*
Amor's back slammed into the surface of the thick glass wall. The aquarium glass vibrated slightly.
Amor was stunned. His eyes went perfectly round, staring straight at Aldes. "Prince."
*Swish.*
Amor stepped forward again and then dashed rapidly. He pulled his right hand back and aimed a hard punch at Aldes's stomach.
*Swish.*
Aldes parried Amor's wrist outward using his left hand. He opened Amor's defense, then threw a solid right punch to the man's jaw.
*Thud.*
Amor ignored the impact. He raised his left hand and executed a hooking punch toward the side of Aldes's head.
Aldes ducked slightly. His left hand moved quickly to block Amor's left elbow from below, while his right hand gripped Amor's collar tightly at the chest. Aldes rotated his hips, turning his back to Amor, and slipped his right foot in front of Amor's feet to block his movement space.
Aldes forcefully pulled Amor's collar downward while thrusting his hips upward. He pulled Amor's entire weight over his shoulder and back, then slammed his opponent's body to the floor.
*Slam!*
The wooden floor of the ship vibrated slightly, absorbing the slam.
Just as Amor held his breath and moved his shoulder muscles to get back up, he froze.
Aldes was kneeling with one knee on the floor. Aldes's right hand, coated in concentrated red energy, was now positioned exactly one centimeter in front of Amor's neck.
