I Will Conquer and rule the World as trash prince

CHAPTER 36 -THE END OF ARC1, THE BEGINING OF VOL1

Tominus stared at the night sky for a long time. He stood still, hovering in the air. The night wind blew past his cloak. His eyes watched the expanse of stars and the full moon shining brightly.

He let out a soft sigh, then his figure vanished from sight.

A space-bending portal, glowing with bright blue light, opened above the palace balcony. The light shimmered, reflecting off the floor made of dark stone tiles. Tominus stepped out of the portal. Below the balcony, rows of terraced mud-brick buildings and conical stone towers stretched out wide. Thousands of torches burned, illuminating the city streets.

Villavia stood near the stone balcony railing. He looked down, watching the movements of the city citizens who were beginning to recover and calm down.

"How was your night, Emperor?" Villavia asked with a soft tone. He turned slightly, looking at Tominus's arrival.

Tominus stepped forward, approaching Villavia. "Making my guardian disappear. Inciting the Viona envoy to go on a suicide mission. And baiting the two human kingdoms into warring against me."

Tominus stopped his steps. "And now you come offering your help to war against the human kingdoms."

Tominus chuckled softly. "Not bad, Villavia."

Villavia smiled thinly in response. "You are indeed the king of humans."

"Cold chocolate and slightly charred meat-filled bread," Tominus said. He positioned himself to stand right beside Villavia. He stared straight ahead at the expanse of the city and its citizens below.

Villavia turned his gaze toward the empty air in front of him. "Cold chocolate and slightly charred meat-filled bread, is it," he muttered softly.

The air in front of Tominus vibrated. A glass containing a cold chocolate drink and a piece of roasted meat-filled bread materialized from thin air. Both items floated steadily in the air.

Tominus reached out his hand to take the glass of cold chocolate. He let the meat-filled bread continue to float beside his body.

"Why require our help? What is the gain for us in helping you?" Tominus asked flatly. He did not turn to look at Villavia at all.

"Reasons, I suppose," Villavia muttered. He tilted his head, staring at the stone floor. "First, I do not want my clan to kill fellow dragons."

"It is too..."

"Heavy for us."

Villavia raised his face, staring at the side of Tominus's face. "These people are planning to overthrow my father's government. However, on the other hand, we do not want to kill each other."

Tominus tilted his head slightly, then bit into the meat-filled bread floating in the air. He chewed slowly. "So you want us to kill them."

Villavia nodded slowly. "In return, I will provide some of our resources. Some ancient weapons. Cooperation in training. And finally, a contract."

"What kind of contract?" Tominus asked calmly.

"Our nation will not attack the Kingdom of Elfier no matter what happens. And if we break it..." Villavia paused. "Eighty percent of our population. Our king. Myself. And all of our future descendants will become slaves and bow to your descendants."

Tominus's pupils shrank. He stopped chewing instantly. "You are truly insane."

"Is the lives of your citizens that cheap in your eyes, Prince?" Tominus asked with a heavy voice.

"This is the step that must be taken," Villavia said calmly without changing his expression. "Of course, these conditions apply as long as you live."

"As long as I live." Tominus drank a little of his cold chocolate. The corners of his eyes sharpened.

"Scenario: if you continue to refuse. Those two human kingdoms will work with us. Then we will war against you," Villavia said with a smile. "Certainly, there is a possibility that you win, Your Majesty. But..."

"The losses you experience will be immense. And perhaps your race will become extinct. However, if news of an Elfier-Dragon military alliance spreads, those two kingdoms will think twice about warring against you. And if they still attack, they will lose, and you will rule over all the human kingdoms."

Tominus swallowed his drink slowly. "I know that," he said flatly. "Tell me what you want."

Villavia turned his body to face Tominus completely. "I want a guardian squad consisting of mages. And also some high-level hunters. Maybe level seventy. Yes, seventy is enough to kill them all."

Villavia remained silent for three seconds. He stared directly into the king's eyes.

"And also... I want to bring Prince Aldes to join in this mission."

Tominus raised an eyebrow at the mention of his son's name. "Aldes?"

"It would be very advantageous to send your prince to the battlefield at a young age, wouldn't it?, Your Majesty? He might return and become stronger than all other princes," Villavia said. He crossed his arms behind his back.

Tominus exhaled a long breath through his nose. "Whatever your intentions are for my son, they will not succeed."

Tominus bit into the rest of the bread in the air until it was finished. He swallowed his food, then stared sharply at the dragon prince in front of him. "Add one more clause to the contract."

"If Aldes dies, then I will cut your head off. and you have no right to declare war on us."

Villavia bowed his head slightly, offering a gesture of respect. "As you wish, Your Majesty."
