Wandering Meteor

The Shell Clan Civilization originally planned to withdraw their forces from Mushroom Star and focus all their efforts on fighting the Wandering Alliance.

They were well aware of their military strength and naturally did not wish to disperse their limited forces and be entangled in conflicts on two fronts.

However, what they had not anticipated was that as their forces on Mushroom Star began to withdraw, they were fiercely obstructed by the Mushroom Civilization.

Although the air force of the Mushroom Civilization had already been annihilated, leaving them without air combat ability, the Mushroom Civilization had installed many Air Defense Weapons Systems on Mushroom Star and possessed some large amphibious air defense motherships. During the previous defense against the Shell Clan Civilization’s invasion, many of the air defense weapons were destroyed by the Shell Clan’s more advanced weapons. However, some remained, and with the confirmation of interception plans, the Mushroom Civilization mobilized all available resources and urgently assembled numerous Anti-Air Annihilation Missiles and Particle Accelerators, achieving a certain resurgence in their air combat capabilities.

The Shell Clan soldiers, lacking any intelligence on these developments and in a hurry to withdraw, had neither the strategic plan nor the mental preparation to counter these actions.

Therefore, when these soldiers boarded their small flying vehicles to evacuate from Mushroom Star, they were suddenly met with intense encirclement and interception by large-scale firepower. The unexpected situation left them in disarray. Even though they managed to evade many of the weapon attacks by utilizing the agility and speed of their small flyers, due to the Mushroom Civilization’s reckless launching of various air defense weapons within the dense barrage, the attempt to ascend was undermined as the vehicles were eventually shot down one by one.

However, the Mushroom Civilization also paid a heavy price; their ammunition reserves built up over many years were almost exhausted.

This was mainly because some Shell Clan soldiers, upon realizing they could not retreat temporarily, switched to local combat. The Mushroom Civilization made great sacrifices to eliminate these stubborn Shell Clan soldiers. Additionally, having lost all satellite systems and without precise GPS guidance, the efficiency of the air defense weapons was significantly affected, leading to many deviations and a great deal of waste. But even with these unfavorable conditions, the Mushroom Civilization’s ability to annihilate the remaining forces of the Shell Clan Civilization on Mushroom Star could be called a miracle constructed by luck and courage!
