These interstellar materials are captured by the gravity of the Black Hole, slowly falling towards the Black Hole, and before being absorbed by the Black Hole, they accumulate into a very large special structure around the Black Hole.
This structure is known as the Accretion Disk.
The Accretion Disk in front of us is immensely large, with a diameter of about two light-years, even larger than the Black Hole itself.
