Chapter 11: Annihilation
"I never expected you to understand the principle of annihilation; it seems you are not merely a simple small planet!"
The Dual Small Constant Star exclaimed in surprise, "I am suddenly extremely interested in the history of your birth. I will give you one last chance: hand over the Metallic Meteorite!"
"Otherwise, you will all be struck by the Annihilation Beam and turned into interstellar dust!"
As it spoke, the two cores within the Dual Small Constant Star released positive and negative lightning, seemingly a warning to Lu Chen!
Wandering knew the situation at hand was dire and volunteered, "Big brother, you can sacrifice me. After all, my life was given by you, my life is essentially yours. If it can save you, I'm willing to sacrifice myself!"
"Wandering, stop it, I will not do that!" Lu Chen firmly refused, feeling that the situation was a bit melodramatic.
Wandering continued, "Big brother, after spending some time together, I see that your worldview is very similar to that of humans, you must have been human before. And I am nothing more than a tool created by your kind, bound to be abandoned. Moreover, you have granted me life, allowing me to experience what it's like to be alive, for which I am deeply grateful!"
Wandering added, "Now, let me sacrifice myself for you. That is indeed the duty and mission of a detector like me!"
Having said that, without waiting for Lu Chen's agreement, Wandering immediately activated its engine and sped towards the Dual Small Constant Star, ready to sacrifice itself to save Lu Chen.
"Wandering, get back here!"
Lu Chen hastily used Gravity to lock onto Wandering and pulled it back.
