Chapter 9 Prelude to Conflict
Cat's Eye Nebula is a planetary nebula, the splendid closing ceremony of the brief life sequence of low-mass constant stars.
Located in the center of the nebula, the dying star cluster throbs continuously, tossing its outer layer materials into cosmic space, forming a simple concentric circular halo shell made of dust.
Its beautifully complex internal structure includes knots, jets, and arcs, making it one of the most complex celestial structures in the universe.
Gazing at the familiar Cat's Eye Nebula ahead, Lu Chen realizes his current location anew.
Honestly, during this long period of wandering, Lu Chen had become numb to time and space.
He didn't know how long he had been wandering in the universe or how far he had traveled?
Whenever he looked back, he could no longer see the light from the Solar System nor could he find the starting point of his journey.
In the vast universe, without reference points, Lu Chen couldn't distinguish direction or location and could only wander aimlessly.

He also came to know that he was still within the Milky Way.
For a long period, he flew through a vast and gloomy space, without seeing daylight, thinking he had left the Milky Way!
