Blessed Curse of Lust

Needless to say, the talk between Yelena and Valerie was awkward to say the least. Especially since Yelena decided to tell the princess everything. Her being Lucia’s champion, the issues she was having related to it, and of course whatever she knew about the powers she had. She still kept her newest one secret, but she obviously had to explain how she got that cock between her legs.

Valerie listened to the tale; it was difficult to believe, but given what she had seen, it wasn’t all that impossible. That being said, the princess was glaring at Yelena throughout the whole time. Once the white-haired girl finished her explanation, Valerie folded her arms.

“I see! So you are the champion of Lucia, the goddess of sex and lust. That explains a lot of things. Did you cast some sort of weird spell on me? You must have! No other way I can explain what happened yesterday.” Valerie was back to her usual self; the timid, submissive girl from the previous day was nowhere to be seen.

Valerie tried to justify her behavior by insinuating that Yelena was using the goddess’ powers to enchant her in some ways. Lucia chuckled in the background; she was enjoying the way this conversation was heading.

“I hate to break it to you, but no magic was involved yesterday. Well, other than the thing between my legs, but that doesn’t have any effects like that.” Yelena replied, trying to clear up any sort of misunderstanding.

The princess’ eyes narrowed. She understood what that meant. If Yelena was telling the truth, then the way she acted prior was entirely her, not some sort of weird magic. It was hard for the proud princess to take in. She couldn’t accept it.

“So you are trying to tell me that it was all me, huh? That I acted like that out of my own free will? I don’t buy that! You… you must have done something! I don’t know what, but I know you did!” Valerie accused Yelena.

Yelena expected this to happen. Valerie was normally arrogant and very proud. It would be hard for her to admit that she did it on her own. Now that the princess could think clearly again, she was probably also very embarrassed and tried to mask that with her accusations.

The white-haired girl smiled and leaned closer. She put her hand on Valerie’s cheek, slowly stroking it. The princess gasped and tensed up.

“You think so? I personally believe you are naturally like that, even if you are trying to hide it. Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone. It can be our secret.” Yelena told her in a sensual voice.

Valerie blushed; she turned her eyes away from the girl in front of her. It was such a small gesture, but it was affecting her hard.

“W… what are you even talking about! I’m… not like… that!” Valerie tried her best to deny it, but her words didn’t sound truthful at all.

“Come on! You don’t need to pretend. Not with just the two of us here. You can let go of all that pride and all the control when it is just us. I know you want to. Let the mask you are wearing slip, give away all the control, and be free. Doesn’t that sound great?” Yelena continued.

The effects of her words were clearly visible on Valerie. The princess shuddered, and the blush deepened on her face. She couldn’t meet Yelena’s eyes. Within a minute, she felt like she was melting again.

“I… I…” Valerie couldn’t even get the words out. “I… can’t. That… is not… me! I’m not like… that!” She was still in denial.

Yelena let go of the princess’ face and leaned away from her. She didn’t mind. She already knew it would take much more to fully convince this stubborn girl.

“That is fine. I won’t push it. Still, my doors are always open if you change your mind.” Yelena told her.

She knew that trying to force Valerie to accept it would be pointless. In fact, it would have the exact opposite effect. She would double down, deny everything, and would likely get mad. Instead, Yelena planned to let the princess stew a little, and when she was ready, she was sure the girl would come on her own.

After their talk ended, Valerie left. Yelena got ready for the day and also left her room. As it had already become a habit, she met up with both Thea and Lily. The latter, who had a massive grin on her face. Yelena was more than aware of what the redhead was about to ask.

“So, how did the date go?” Lily started off with the much-expected question.

Yelena sighed. She was prepared for this talk, but considering all that went down, it was hard to talk about it.

“As much as I hate to admit it, you were right. It was a date.” Yelena started off with just that.

The grin on Lily’s face widened. She knew there was more to the story than that, and she was determined to find out everything.

“Go on! Don’t keep us hanging. How did it go?” The redhead kept pushing for the answers she sought.

“Not much to tell. We had dinner, talked about all kinds of things, then left.” Yelena was trying to act nonchalant about it.

Lily was not happy with the answer. She was sure there was more to it. The way Yelena acted was suspicious to say the least.

“And after that?” Lily asked.

Yelena wasn’t sure how she could even figure out that something happened afterward. Lily had a scary ability to read others. She couldn’t hide anything from the girl.

“After that, she escorted me back to my room. Stuff… happened. That is all I can say for now.” Yelena didn’t really want to go into the details, especially not in a public hallway.

Lily’s eyes sparkled. She looked excited, and Yelena knew she would ask for details. It was unavoidable. She didn’t plan to hide it from Lily, especially since it was their agreement, but this was not the time and place for that.

“Fine, that is enough for now. Glad to hear it went well. We can discuss what exactly went down later on.” Lily was oddly patient about it; Yelena was half expecting that the girl would say something out of pocket here.

Lily leaned closer.

“Maybe you can tell me all the juicy details while we are playing with each other. Sounds really hot, doesn’t it?” She whispered.

Yelena blushed immediately. There it was. The Lily she knew, the one who would tease mercilessly and say the weirdest things. Still, it was hard to deny that idea.

“Yeah… we can do that.” Yelena replied.

Later in combat class, they were still focusing on learning how to use their life force and unlock Vareen. It was a long process, but each time they felt like they were getting closer. At this point, a couple of students have already made their breakthrough.

Yelena, Thea, and Lily weren’t amongst them, but the three were trying their best. They knew they had to get it done as soon as possible, so they could finally start taking jobs. That was their main objective now.

Yelena was focusing on her body. Since she could feel the life force within her, the training focused on controlling it. This was possibly the most difficult part. This energy wasn’t all that compliant. It did whatever it wanted and seemed to dislike it when the girl tried to take control.

Since last week, Yelena has made considerable progress in this regard. Each time they practiced in class, it became easier to gain control over this force. Now, it just needed to be utilized correctly. That was the most difficult part.

Yelena not only needed to move this energy to the right places, like her muscles and skin, but also needed to keep it there to empower herself. The first part, while challenging, was not that difficult. It required a fair amount of concentration, but once it was done, she felt the power swelling within her. The real issue came from maintaining it. As said, the life force was a very fickle thing.

Today was no different. She kept trying, achieving the first part, but having a lot of trouble maintaining the power. The class had been going on for the past 30 minutes already. Yelena was sweating hard from trying again and again. While she didn’t move, simply controlling the life force was physically exhausting.

Reaching the first level didn’t mean some fireworks and fanfare. The objective was simple: she had to maintain the power for 10 minutes straight to be considered to have unlocked the first level. Most fights wouldn’t even last that long. Duels between warriors usually lasted half of that or even less.

Until now, the best she could do was 8 minutes and 31 seconds. She was close to reaching her goal. She did everything she could, focusing hard on maintaining the power coursing through her body.

She took a deep breath, and sweat was forming on her forehead as she tried her best to keep her concentration. She was told it would be easier moving forward, but at this point, it was difficult to imagine that. She kept going; the timer was running. She just needed to push a little further.

Her concentration broke, and she felt the energy scatter all over her body. She clicked her tongue. 8 minutes, 44 seconds. New record, sure, but she still wasn’t there. Yelena opened her eyes only to find Lucia sitting across her with a bored expression.

“You know, you are going at it the wrong way, right?” The goddess said.

Yelena narrowed her eyes, giving Lucia a mean look.

What do you mean? What am I supposed to do then? The girl asked back, clearly being frustrated by her own slow progress.

Lucia sighed. She thought about it for a second, considering whether to tell her. In the end, she decided it was in both of their best interest to help the girl.

“What you’ve been doing is trying to force your life energy to do your bidding, but it won’t work like that. Not with you. Life force is different for each individual. In fact, it acts a lot like the person it is inside. Think about it for a second. What have you learned about yourself over the past few days? Especially after you’ve been with Lily and Valerie.” Lucia gave a hint, but she wasn’t going to spell it out.

Yelena started to think. She had a feeling she knew what the goddess meant. The talk from this morning popped into her head. Remembering how Lucia told her she was a natural switch. Somebody who could adapt well to her partner's needs. Was that what she was referring to?

“You are getting there! Yes, that is exactly what I meant. The problem you are facing here is coming from that. Right now, you are trying to push those energies inside you, trying to make them obey your command. That won’t work.” Lucia pointed it out.

Then what? What else can I do? Yelena asked, still being unsure of what the goddess was expecting of her.

“Instead of only pushing, try pulling too. Push and pull. Give and take. You need to be firm with it, but you also need to ask for its permission. Satisfy both sides, and things will be much easier.” Lucia explained.

Yelena thought about it. It was hard to say how effective it would be. It sounded a little complicated, but overall it made some sense. The girl didn’t think the goddess would try to steer her in the wrong direction, not to mention she knew a lot of things. Even if it was not her primary domain, Lucia was a timeless being with a great deal of knowledge she had likely accumulated over time.

Okay, I’ll try. Yelena replied and closed her eyes.

She focused inside herself, finding her life force, then, as she learned, she started taking control. Once everything was in place, she tried to do as Lucia suggested. Push and pull. It was not an intuitive thing to do. Trying to do two opposite things at the same time was not exactly easy.

She kept going, focusing on the process the best she could. Time went by. At some point, she started to feel it. It was so much easier to maintain her control. Lucia was right. It needed some time to adjust to this new method, but it was less exhausting than before. The life force wasn’t trying to push back against her constantly. It settled, calm, satisfied.

“Congratulations! You did it.” Lucia said.

Yelena opened her eyes and looked surprised. She was too focused to keep track of time. She looked down at her hands. She still felt the power was being maintained, despite her no longer focusing heavily on it. Was it already 10 minutes? It was hard to say, but she felt it might have been.

As said, there were no fireworks or fanfare. Technically speaking, she reached the first level. She already knew how it felt to hold the power, so the only thing she needed was to hold it long enough. She knew she would need some more practice with it. Especially to maintain it during combat, but she was satisfied. She was happy that she had finally broken through that barrier.
