Blessed Curse of Lust

Ch 25 – Not a Date

Once both girls had woken up and gotten dressed, they returned to their rooms. From there, they spent the rest of Sunday separately. On Sundays, they didn’t have any classes, but that didn’t mean they could sit around doing nothing.

It just meant that they had more time for their personalized training or to take up jobs. Since they decided they wouldn’t do the latter, they both went to train. Lily went to the Flames to keep working on her mana control. She was already close to the breakthrough she had been waiting for and hoped to achieve it on this day.

Yelena also decided to spend the day with her group. It was a good opportunity to train with others of similar strength to hers. The other first-year students who were recruited to the Dragons were just as good as Yelena. They were doing a couple of sparing matches, but nothing too crazy.

The next day, classes started again. Lily managed to learn how to control her mana during the weekend, so now she could step forward and learn how to cast magic without the help of a premade circle. It was not an easy task, but the girl was learning fast. It was hard to say if it was due to her natural talents or the help of the Flames. Maybe both.

During the afternoon classes, they continued learning to use their life force and tried to unlock the Vareen. While they were still unsuccessful, they felt they were getting closer. It wouldn’t be long before they would finally unlock this new power.

Once the classes were over, Lily and Yelena decided to forgo their usual sword practice. Lily wanted to focus on magic for the moment, and the best way to do that was with her group. Yelena was a little disappointed that she wouldn’t be able to spend time with Lily, but she understood.

****

It was Tuesday morning. As always, Yelena, Lily, and Thea met up in the hallway. Lily already had a sly smile on her face from the moment she spotted Yelena. The white-haired girl had a feeling about that smile.

“So, are you looking forward to your date with the princess tonight?” Lily asked the question.

Yelena already knew she would ask that. The girl just sighed. She was not looking forward to it, but had already made up her mind to attend.

“It is still not a date. Nothing will happen.” Yelena spoke with full confidence.

“Suuuuure! If I have to make a bet, I would say the princess will end up in your room tonight. Do you still have the extra equipment, or did it go away?” Lily didn’t let Yelena get away that easily.

The white-haired girl scoffed. It was almost like an insult to even insinuate that she and the princess would end up with each other.

“Yeah… I do. That doesn’t mean anything, though. Nothing will happen!” Yelena confirmed the presence of the cock and reiterated that nothing is going to happen between her and the princess.

Lily’s smile just grew bigger as she heard that. Yelena could tell she was about to say something outrageous.

“Are you sure? Don’t you want to show it to her? Maybe stretch her royal throat out with your big cock. Mmmm! Can you imagine? Seeing the bulge on her throat as you thrust into it, making her gag on it. Seeing that proud royalty reduced into a cum dumpster.”

Lily’s words were graphic. Yelena could imagine the scene in her head. It was a bad idea. She was awkwardly shifting as her erection started to appear. The white-haired girl looked to Thea for help, but Thea just threw up her hands.

“Don’t look at me! I’m not here, and I most definitely didn’t hear any inappropriate discussions about the third princess.” Thea tried to quickly distance herself from this conversation, which was the smart thing to do.

Yelena felt defeated. She had no good way to retort against Lily’s words.

“So you do like that idea, huh? Turning the proud princess into a broken cock slut for you! Mmmm! I would love to see that.” Lily kept going, which didn’t help at all with Yelena’s growing problem.

“Can we at least not discuss this in public. Sure, nobody is here… but… you know.” Yelena glanced down.

For now, she managed to keep it under control, but who knows how long.

“We still have 10 minutes before the class starts. I can help you take care of it in the bathroom if you want.” Lily offered.

Yelena shot her a dirty look. She was not at all happy about the offer to do something in the public bathroom. It seemed Lily finally relented and shrugged.

“Fine, fine! I’ll behave! I still think she is into you, though. Can’t prove it, but just a feeling. So, please just try to keep an open mind. Even if you don’t want to be with her, that is fine, but the least you can do is try to be nice when you reject her.”

Unlike the teasing before, this was sound advice, even Yelena could admit that. If the princess was really into her, which she still doubted, it would be best to be polite about the rejections. There was no need to create any hostility between her family and the royal one.

****

The evening came around faster than Yelena expected. She didn’t even notice how fast the time was flying until she was standing in front of the restaurant Valerie mentioned. Yelena was wearing the same black dress she got for the party. It was more than good enough, and it was the only one she had, so she didn’t want to spend hours trying to find a new one.

Yelena walked inside the building. It was the best, and also the most expensive place in the whole city. Getting a reservation was difficult, even for the nobility, yet it was totally empty. No surprise there. The princess likely didn’t want too much attention, so she rented out the whole place for the night.

As she walked further in, she saw a single table in the middle of the dining room. All other tables around were pushed aside, making it very clear that the two would be the only ones eating here tonight.

Yelena walked over. The princess was already sitting at the table. She noticed the white-haired girl approaching. Yelena could swear she saw a faint smile on the princess’ face, but she quickly regained her composure.

“You came! Good! I thought you might refuse. Please, sit!” Valerie motioned towards the seat on the other side of the table.

Yelena walked over and sat down.

“I had no reason to refuse the invitation.” Yelena commented dryly.

The princess nodded, then took the menu that was already in front of her. Both looked through it and made their decision. Both opted for red wine.

There was an awkward silence as they waited. The princess looked like she was struggling. She wanted to say something, but nothing came to her mind. Yelena didn’t care much, but thought it would be polite to at least pretend to engage with Valerie.

“So, what made you come here?” Yelena asked.

Valerie looked equally surprised and confused by that question.

“To the restaurant?” She asked back.

“No, to the school. From what I know of you, you have never been very interested in these things. I can’t understand why you chose to come here.” Yelena clarified.

Valerie looked awkward when she realized what the question was really about. She was thinking about how to answer it. She couldn’t say her main reason, of course, which was to get close to Yelena. In reality, she had another important reason too.

“What do you think? I’m 7th in line to inherit the throne. Realistically speaking, it is not going to happen. Where does that leave me?” Valerie finished it with a question back.

Yelena knew what she was saying.

“Political marriage.” Yelena answered.

Valerie nodded. That was her fate. That is how her family can still make her useful. Being married to some prince in a neighboring country to establish an alliance between them.

“Yeah, pretty much. My father is already looking for candidates. The only reason he is holding back now because I came here. I have to see this through.” Valerie answered.

“So you're hoping to become a strong enough mage or warrior, be useful in that way, so you can avoid a political marriage?” Although Yelena posed it as a question, she already knew the answer.

“Something like that, yes. I’m not some hopeless romantic. I’m not waiting for the big love to come into my life, but I also refuse to marry someone I don’t even know. Much prefer if it would be someone whom I liked at least.” At the end, Valerie’s eyes lingered on Yelena before she looked away.

Yelena could sympathize with her. She was in no way in an easy situation, and her goals are not so easy to achieve.

“What path do you think you will go?” Yelena asked back.

“Mage. You saw my sword skills. I’m not good enough with that. I do have magic theory down well enough and can cast level 2 spells. Thinking of joining the Astral Flames too.” The princess replied.

Yelena chuckled a little. Not because she didn’t think the princess could join, but because she knew she would have an aneurysm from what she was about to say.

“Sounds good! They are a great group. Lily is also a part of it.” Yelena said.

She could see Valerie’s face twitch when she heard Lily’s name. The princess slammed her hand on the table.

“How? She shouldn’t even be able to cast a level 0 spell! How was she accepted there?” Valerie seemed to be seething.

Yelena expected this reaction. Valerie made it very clear early on that she didn’t have the best impression of Lily.

“She has mana overflow. So she was accepted instantly without even knowing how to cast magic.” Yelena explained.

Valerie scoffed; she was not happy at all to hear that answer.

“Of course she does! Guess some just get lucky in life.” She folded her arms.

“Lucky? Do you think that is all she is? Let me tell you something. During the past week, Lily worked twice as hard as anyone else in the class. She had to. She didn’t have the overflow under control. You, of course, wouldn’t know it. You never had to work hard for anything in your life.” Yelena’s answer was not kind, but she couldn’t hold back after hearing Valerie insult Lily like that.

The princess bit her lip and looked away. She was upset, and it was visible.

“Whatever! We didn’t come here to talk about her!” She tried to quickly end this topic, seeing that it was going towards a complete disaster.

Yelena had a smile on her face. She got the princess where she wanted her to be.

“So, then why are we here?” The white-haired girl asked, and she had a sly smile on her face as she lifted her wine glass.

Valerie froze up for a moment. Of course, she called Yelena here to get closer to her. It was a date, but she couldn’t just admit that.

“I told you! It is a thank you for training me!” She gave her reply.

“Are you sure? You could have just given me a small present as a thank you. A dinner with just the two of us seems a little excessive. Almost like a date.” Yelena was pushing her; she wanted to try to get confirmation.

The princess’ face turned deep red. She was stuttering and trying to find the right words.

W… what makes you t…think this is a date? Don’t… think so highly of yourself! Sure, you are pretty, strong… confident… and all that… but that doesn’t mean anything!” She tried to deflect, but she just made it so much worse for herself.

Yelena got the confirmation she wanted. As much as she hated to admit it, she could now see. Lily was right. The way Valerie answered, calling Yelena all those things, was enough to make her see it.

“Quite an interesting one, huh? A bit fiery, but deep down, she is just waiting for you to tell her what to do. I bet she will be eating from your palm in no time.” Lucia was sitting on the edge of the table and made her own comment.

What makes you think I want that? Yelena asked back in her head.

“I know you do. Even if you don’t want to admit it. Just remember what Lily said this morning. I know you've been replaying that scene in your head over and over again.” Lucia laughed.

Yelena hated how she could read her mind. She couldn’t hide anything from the goddess. It was true what Lily had said during their morning talk, and it stuck in Yelena’s head. It was hard not to imagine Valerie in such a position.

“Fine, it is not a date then. No need to get upset.” Yelena answered Valerie.

Soon the food arrived, and they started eating. For the most part, they were quiet, but then Yelena brought up another topic.

“Do you have a party yet?” She asked.

The question came as a surprise to Valerie. She stopped eating for a moment.

“Nothing set in stone. I have a few candidates. Why?” She was curious where this was going.

“We are putting our team together too. Thea, Lily, and I. We still need two mages and a fighter. Thought I might ask you if you are interested?” It was an even bigger surprise to hear that.

“Why would you even offer that? Don’t you hate me or something?” Valerie asked back.

She already knew Yelena didn’t have the best opinion of her, so she couldn’t understand why she was even offering.

“I don’t hate you. I don’t like your attitude; that is all. Still, you are a competent mage. We can work on the rest.” Yelena replied.

“Did you make up your mind? Are you going to make the princess into your obedient pet?” Lucia asked in a teasing tone.

Shut up! You know I don’t have such plans. Yelen replied.

“Yet! We will see how things go.” Lucia laughed.

Valerie was deep in her thoughts; she was biting her lips, trying to figure out how to respond. Joining the same party as Yelena was a dream come true, but she couldn’t sound too excited about it.

“I’ll think it through. You will have my answer by the end of the week.” The princess made up her mind.

With that, even if she accepted later, she wouldn’t sound like she is too excited about it. That was the perfect way to handle it.

“Fine with me. Just don’t take too long. The first goal will be given at the end of the month. Given that you are currently sitting on 0 points, it will make it harder for you.” Yelena pointed out the obvious.

Valerie clicked her tongue. Her plan to get closer to Yelena by challenging her came back to bite her in the ass. She had no points, which meant she would have to work extra hard to make up for it.

“Don’t worry! I’ll figure it out. For now, let’s just eat.”
