Blessed Curse of Lust

CH 5 – Wet Thoughts

Yelena knew this was a bad idea. Her feelings were further reinforced when she spotted the goddess walking beside them, a huge grin on her face. It was truly not helping.

“I’m sorry… that you had to escort me back. I’m fine… I can go alone.” She told.

Yelena looked over to her, only to turn her head away in an instant. The moment she looked, she could see way too much. Obviously, due to the water, Lily was drenched from top to bottom. The only thing that remained more or less dry was her hair.

This plus the white blouse meant trouble. A huge trouble. The thing was practically see-through. What made it even worse was that Lily didn’t wear anything under. No shirt, no bra, nothing. Maybe it was due to the fact that her breasts were small, or she just didn’t like them. Either way, it was not a good thing.

Lucia was snickering when she saw Yelana’s reaction. She was having a great time for sure.

“Ehm… you… you should cover up.” The white-haired girl tried to warn Lily, without making things too awkward.

Lily looked down and saw. She simply didn’t notice before. Her face turned almost the same shade of red as her hair.

“Why did this happen today? Out of all days…” Lily was mortified.

“What's so special about today? Yelena could understand her embarrassment, but she couldn’t understand why she was so worried about the day.

“Well… you saw it, right? I don’t… have anything under my blouse.” She pointed it out.

Yelean did see it. The image of Lily’s small breasts and the perky pink nipples was seared into her mind. She couldn’t forget even if she wanted to. Yelena nodded.

“That is not how I usually. I woke up late… I was in a hurry to get ready, but I didn’t properly unpack yesterday. I couldn’t find… any of my bras. Thought it would be fine for just one day. They are not that big anyway. Then this happened.” Yelena could understand now.

Looks like the poor girl was a victim of a series of unfortunate accidents. She felt bad for her. During the first class, too.

“I see. I’m sorry it happened to you. Luckily, there aren’t any people around, so it should be fine.” Yelena tried to at least point out something positive.

As the classes were still ongoing, there was nobody in the halls. This was quite lucky for Lily, and she was glad. She already felt embarrassed enough about the whole scene she caused with the water. The only sound in the empty hallway was the sound of Lily’s wet shoes on the stone floor.

The girl seemed to intentionally stay on the side of the hallway to avoid getting the expensive carpet wet.

“Still, it was pretty cool. You know with the mana overflow and everything.” Yelena did her best to cheer the girl up a bit.

“I don’t know; to me it seemed like I just caused a lot of trouble. I couldn’t even stop it.” It didn’t work.

Lily just felt even more guilty as she remembered how she flooded the classroom.

“You really don’t understand what happened, do you? I mean, the professor didn’t exactly explain it. To put it simply, each magic circle has a maximum capacity. Normally, you can’t fill it up more than that. So, the output will always be determined by that.” Yelena did her best to try to explain it as simply as possible.

It was good for her too. At least while she was focused on the explanation, she didn’t think of those beautiful perky nipples. Well, at least that was the plan, but it didn’t exactly work as intended.

“Some people are naturally better at controlling mana. Like you. You have such a strong talent for it that you could fill the circle with mana over its normal capacity. Hence, the magic that would normally just make the paper wet started pouring water out like crazy when you did it.” She concluded.

“Wait! Then, that is a good thing? I mean, it could be right?” Lily seemed to be a little more cheerful about it now that she started to understand it.

“Exactly! If you pay attention to the classes and study well, you can easily become a very strong mage.” Yelena smiled.

It was not a lie either. Although Lily started from a disadvantaged position, since she never had the chance to learn about magic before, it won’t be easy; but if she could learn the theory properly, she had a good chance of overcoming the others.

“Ahhh! You have no idea how good it is to hear that. I was really worried. I know I’m behind most people in terms of knowledge. I’m not trained in martial arts either. Guess at least I have this one going for me.” She was much more cheerful, so much so that she almost forgot about how immodest she looked at the moment.

“Yes, I won’t lie to you, it won’t be easy. You will need to study and practice a lot, but not impossible either. I mean… if you want, I can help you out with some stuff.” Yelena offered as she was awkwardly scratching the back of her head.

Yelena turned her head, only to see the goddess giving her a big thumbs up. She was so annoying sometimes. It wasn’t like Yelena had ulterior motives. She just wanted to help a fellow student.

“You can tell that to yourself all you want. It doesn’t change the fact that this will end up with you and her doing some extracurricular activity together.” Lucia got uncomfortably close to Yelena as she said that.

Yelena turned her head away, blushing simply from the thought of it. She instead turned back to Lily, who was still mulling over the offer.

“Are you sure… it won’t be a problem for you? I would hate to waste your time, and you know… be a trouble.” She said.

“You don’t have to worry about that. I’m good at magic and have also been practicing sword fighting since I was young. I can help you with both. Really not a big issue.” Yelena tried to reassure Lily.

“Well, I don’t know magic, but I’m usually pretty good at studying. On the other hand, I’m terrible at anything physical. Not to mention I’ve never even held a sword in my hand.” She awkwardly laughed as she admitted that.

Yelena thought it through. She already has great mana control and is good at studying, so she should probably teach the girl about sword fighting first. It would make it easier for Liliy in the long run.

“Good thinking! Nothing really gets things going like getting all sweaty together. Mmmm! Having your bodies press against each other as you fight. I like that.” Lucia, of course, couldn’t stop giving her opinion on the matter.

Yelena did her best to ignore the naughty goddess, but she couldn’t deny it was a rather inviting image she had just planted in the girl’s head.

“Well, how about this. We do have a physical class today. I assume it won’t be too crazy, but they'll likely start showing you the basics. After the classes ended, we can meet up and continue. I could teach you how to do it properly. What do you think?” Yelena asked.

Lily thought about it for a moment, then nodded.

“Yes, thank you! That would be great.” She answered.

Yelena smiled. Looks like today will be rather interesting.

When they reached Liliy’s room, she went in to change. Yelena stayed outside until she was done. Of course, she wasn’t alone. Lucia was keeping her company.

“So, what do you think? How are you going to proceed with her? Will you make your move during training, or perhaps afterward in the locker room? Oh, or the showers! The showers are a good place too.” Lucia was trying to guess what Yelena would do.

Can you stop? I won’t do anything with her. I’m not like that. Yelena was pouting. She was getting a little upset with the goddess for trying to set her up with someone she had just met.

“That is where you are wrong! You are exactly like that. The issue is that you lack the experience and confidence to pursue what you really want. That last one I don’t even understand. I mean, come on, you are fucking gorgeous!” The goddess didn’t stop.

Looks aren’t everything! Not to mention, what if she is just… you know, not into girls or simply just me? It was clear as day that Lucia was right.

Yelena severely lacked the confidence to do what she really wanted. She didn’t just want it because of the powers Lucia gave her. This desire she had so much longer than that. Probably ever since she started reading those novels.

“You worry too much. If that is the case, she will tell you, and you will stop. Simple as that. I think the more important question is, what if she is into girls and you? What if this is something she also wants? You seem to be always looking at the bad things first. The reality is, you will never get anywhere without trying. It is not easy, I get it. There are many things that are not easy, like your dream. Only a few people can achieve that. It still doesn’t stop you. What is the difference here?”

The way Lucia talked was less teasing and more like a serious conversation. Something that Yelena would have with Thea, for example. It was odd, but she was not wrong. Yelena guessed that the goddess of sex and lust might not be the worst person to give dating advice. Some of the time at least. The shower is definitely not happening.

“Fine, I’ll give it a try. Still feel bad. I mean, she would be dragged into my mess too. Like Thea.” She started to worry about something else now.

“Stop thinking so much. It is going to kill you early. Just learn to enjoy life a little. Live for fuck sake! You spent your whole life training like crazy. Don’t you think you deserve at least a little fun?” Lucia was fed up with the negative attitude.

“Yeah, I guess. We will see how it goes.” Yelena finally relented.

Now this attitude just needed to hold out until the afternoon. A little while later, Lily came out of her room wearing a fresh uniform. Then they returned to the class.

****

The rest of the magic class went without much incident. Then came the physical training. The training uniform was fairly simple. Especially for the girls. It was a white shirt and black shorts. Those shorts were really short, not to mention rather form-fitting. Yelena started to think that someone was deliberately getting revealing clothes for the girls as part of the uniform.

Still, she couldn’t complain. At least she had something to look at, too, while working out. The professor was already waiting for them. She was a tall, muscular woman. Her body was covered in scars. Likely went through countless battles already. She had short blonde hair and brown eyes.

When she spotted Yelena, she walked over to her.

“Nice to meet you again, Miss Hellag! Hope your father is doing well.” She asked.

It came as a surprise, since Yelena didn’t recognize the woman. She likely could tell by the girl’s expression, because she soon clarified.

“I guess you don’t remember. Not a surprise, you were still very young when I used to serve your father as his first knight.” She explained.

The first knights were important for every noble family. Not only did they lead their armies, but they also served as military advisors to the lords and ladies. Yelana could remember now. It was about 10 years ago, but this woman indeed served her house as the first knight. Although she has changed a lot. She had much longer hair and fewer scars back then.

“Erica Jowlin, right?” Yelena wasn’t sure if she got the name correct.

“Hah! So you do remember? Yes, that is me. I can’t lie; I changed a lot, so I’m not surprised you didn’t recognize me at first.” The woman smiled; she seemed happy to meet Yelena.

“Well, unfortunately, we don’t have time to catch up now, but I would like to talk with you later. Also, just because I used to serve your family, don’t expect any special treatment. I’ll work you just as hard as the rest.” She told Yelena.

“I wouldn’t have it any other way,” Yelena replied.

The class started, and the students immediately formed two groups. Those who had prior training in swordfighting and those who didn’t. The Leffey Academy taught only sword techniques, so students didn’t really have any choice but to learn those.

Yelena and Thea were obviously on the team with prior training. She couldn’t help but look over to the other group and watch Lily as she was holding a wooden sword in her hand for the first time.

“Already thinking about what you will teach her? I’m sure it won’t be just sword techniques.” Lucia made an appearance.

It seemed the goddess came and went as she pleased. She sometimes appeared to tease Yelena about something, then she got bored and disappeared. She wasn’t around all the time. She probably had some godly things to do, whatever that might be.

Are you still on about that? Even if I make my move, there is no guarantee she will be interested. Yelena communicated with her in her head.

“We've been over this. You should stop worrying and make plans on what you will do when she accepts.” Lucia was not letting it go that easily.

Yelena just sighed and decided it was best not to argue with her about this. They will see how things will go this afternoon.

While the other group was learning the basics, the one Yelena and Thea were part of was instructed to spar a little.

Both girls stood in front of each other. It has been a while since they fought against each other. Both were curious about how much the other had improved since the last time. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the chance to figure it out before they were rudely interrupted.

“Hah! You two barely even know how to hold a sword. You should go home before you get hurt or something.” Yelena already knew who the voice belonged to.

She lowered her wooden sword and looked over. It was indeed who she thought it was. Jacob Pivvra, second son of the duke of the south. Despite his father being a good man, he turned out to be the exact opposite. He was a total asshole.

A few years ago, he was trying his best to court Yelena. Obviously, the girl wasn’t interested at all. Not just because she didn’t have any interest in men, but also because he had the worst possible personality. Generally, he was lazy, arrogant, and quick to anger. Not a good combination.

Since Yelena rejected him, he became so much worse. Now he is trying to pick a fight with her whenever he can, hoping to humiliate the girl.

“Oh, really? Well, then how about you show me how it is done? Maybe in a duel?” Yelena asked.

Yelena didn’t know why he was even here. To be more precise, how he got in. He certainly never had any such aspiration. Either way, she didn’t care much. She knew she could beat him. Maybe an actual physical beating will help him reconsider his life.

Jacob accepted, and the two stood before each other. He used a different style from hers, but just from the stance, Yelena could tell he wasn’t good. It looked like an amateur. His balance was completely off. It won’t be a hard fight.

Once the fight started, Jacob took the first step. He tried to stab Yelena in the chest with his wooden sword. The girl already knew he lost. Yelena parried with her sword, pushing it aside. The wooden blade went past her body.

They were too close to properly strike him, so she decided on a different approach. She turned her sword and struck Jacob in the face with the wooden pommel. The hit landed right on his nose, just as Yelena intended. A loud crunch sound was heard, presumably from his nose breaking before he fell on the ground.

His nose was bleeding, and he was screaming in pain.

“Professor, I think Jacob needs some medical assistance.” Yelena called out to Erica, who had already seen what happened. Soon, Jacob was escorted away to get his nose fixed. Yelena felt quite proud of that, but the whole thing already took away her mood to spar with Thea. The other girl felt the same way.

The last class for the day ended soon. It was only about an hour before the promised time with Lily. Yelena looked forward to it, but she couldn’t help but feel nervous.

“You don’t have to worry! I’ll help you out!” Yelena saw the smile on Lucia’s face. She wasn’t sure if whatever she had in mind would actually help or make things worse.
