CH 2 – The Goddess of S*x and Lust
Yelena’s mind blanked out for a few moments. She was dizzy and disoriented. When she opened her eyes, she came face to face with Goddess Kytia. She was close, way too close. Their faces were just a couple of inches away.
“Are you feeling better, my child?” The Goddess asked.
Yelena jumped back. She was surprised, but more importantly, terrified. Her mind was still clouded, so she didn’t fully understand what happened. Yet she knew she must have been very disrespectful towards the Goddess.
“I… I apologize! I don’t know… what happened!” She was bowing her head as far as she could.
“Don’t worry, you are not to blame. It was my insensitive sister who made the trouble.” The Goddess sighed.
It started to come back. Yelena was meeting with Kytia when Lucia appeared. In the end, Yelena was somehow named as Lucia’s champion. She could recall the feeling of that symbol burning into his left hand. She lifted it up to inspect it, but there was no sign of it.
“So… it really did happen?” Yelena had a hard time believing it. It almost felt like a dream.
“I’m afraid so. Lucia… well, she hasn’t been the most responsible one for a long time, but now she's gone too far. I apologize on her behalf. Unfortunately, even I can’t do anything about it. From this point onward, you are her champion.” She looked troubled by it.
Yelena couldn’t believe it. She just heard one of the most well-known deities apologize to her. It was almost unheard of. Not to mention, she has been named a champion. Something like that hasn’t happened in centuries.
“What does that mean?” Yelena asked.
Since no gods have named a champion in such a long time, it was not common knowledge to even know what that means. In the past, champions were people who were entrusted by the gods to carry out certain missions. All of which could have had catastrophic consequences if they failed. In short, they were heroes who saved the world.
Yelena, on the other hand, well, she didn’t feel like she fit in this category. What's worse, it all felt like she was picked by an eccentric Goddess, just to spite her older sister. That is the conundrum this young girl fell into.
“Having a champion means different things for each of us. Some are tasked with completing great deeds; others with advancing society in some way. Not all champions are well-known, but each has an important role to play. In most cases, our champions fight in our name.” Kytia tried to explain it to her.
“Then, what happens to me?” Yelena was concerned. She didn’t know what Lucia planned, if she had a plan to begin with.
“That I can’t tell. Only she knows it. In general, champions will be able to wield the power of their patron. It is a great honor for you mortals. Unfortunately, as with all things, it comes with its downsides.” She said.
Downsides. Yelena could already tell that it would be a problem. What downsides could there be to being a champion for the Goddess of sex and lust? She didn’t have to wonder about it too much. She already had a feeling she wouldn’t like it.
“As I said, I can’t take back the decision she had made. All I can do is grant you my blessing, as promised. I have a feeling you will need it.” Kytia held her hand over Yelena.
A bright golden light enveloped her body. It felt warm and safe. That was the blessing of the Goddess of protection. One day, it could save her from a great danger.
“Now go! Return to your world! I hope you will find your way, even amidst these new challenges.” With that, the Goddess stepped away from Yelena.
The girl bowed respectfully before the deity and stood. She looked back at the gate and stepped through it.
The next moment, she was back at the chapel. Countless other students were watching her. Yelena’s head was a mess. She still couldn’t get over all that happened. How could she? She could be the first champion in centuries. Even if it was for a lesser goddess. Lucia obviously didn’t have much of a following. She was a lesser deity because of that. The only reason Yelena knew her was that she was Kytia’s sister.
“Miss Hellag? Miss Hellag!” She heard the voice calling out to her.
“Miss Hellag, are you all right?” The headmaster’s voice snapped her back to reality.
“Yes, I’m sorry!” She apologized and stepped next to the altar.
The white-haired girl put her hand on the orb. It shone brightly, indicating she received the blessing. Once that was done, she went back to the other students.
The ceremony didn’t last much longer after that. Only a couple of people didn’t receive the blessing. Those were all removed from the school. For the rest, there was nothing to worry about for now.
The classes didn’t start until the next day. This meant they’ve had all the free time. For now, Yelena decided the best thing to do was to return to her room and think things over
“Hmmm, pretty nice place! Not as nice as ours, but it will do.” Yelena heard the familiar voice.
She quickly turned around to look in the direction from which she heard it from. There was nothing there but the empty hallway. For a moment, she started to think she was hallucinating or something. Wouldn’t be surprising after everything she went through.
“Over here!” She heard the voice again.
Yelena whipped her head around. There she was. Lucia is standing there in her full glory. The girl let out a loud yelp upon seeing the goddess and fell backward.
“W… what are you… doing here? How?” Yelena asked.
Her question was not without reason. Gods were not allowed to walk in Ehlan. Not anymore, at least. Once upon a time, they often visited the mortal realm, but after the event called the Accession War, it became forbidden for them to walk this realm ever again.
“Okay, let’s take this one step at a time. The first question is easy. You are my champion, so of course I would accompany you. It will be fun, I promise. As for how? That is a bit more complicated. I’m not here, at least not for real. The seal in your hand contains a part of my essence. Through that, I can show up like this or just be a voice in your head.” She explained.
“Why? Why are you… doing this to me?” Yelena asked.
She still couldn’t wrap her head around it. Being named a champion. It felt like way too much responsibility. Something she just couldn’t handle.
“Don’t worry about it. As I said, it will be fun. Plus, I didn’t choose you just on a whim. Even I’m not that cruel. Oh, yeah, one more thing. You don’t have to speak out loud. I can read your thoughts. It might be a better idea to do this before people start thinking you are crazy. After all, other than you, nobody can see or hear me.” She pointed it out.
Yelena quickly looked around. Luckily, there was nobody here. At least there won’t be any rumors that she is going insane. Not yet.
Okay, I think I’m starting to get it. You are… not really here. More like in my head or something, right? It still doesn’t explain what you are expecting of me? Yelena formed her thoughts to communicate with the goddess.
“For the first thing, yeah, more or less. It is a bit more complicated than that, but you don’t have to worry about the details. What matters is that I’m here to stay. As for the second one, it might be better if we return to your room so I can explain.” Lucia said.
Yelena was not all too happy about the new companion in her head, as well as the sudden change that came into her life. She knew she had no choice. She took a deep breath and started walking.
Lucia disappeared in front of Yelena’s eyes. Despite that, she knew the goddess was still with her. Yelena continued her journey back to her room. She is still trying to make sense of the situation. It was not easy to deal with. Especially since she had no idea what was really waiting for her.
Yelena arrived at her room and opened the door. She quickly noticed the tan goddess lying on her in a sideways position, using her left hand to prop her head up.
“Nice bed! Quite comfy it seems. Good! I’m sure it will see a lot of use in the coming years.” Lucia was speaking in a sultry tone; it was impossible to miss what she was implying.
Yelena didn’t even want to think about it and closed the door behind her. She turned around and took a good look at the goddess in front of her. The first thing she noticed was that Lucia’s loincloth shifted, revealing that her modesty indeed was only protected by that small piece of cloth.
“I told you!” The goddess smirked.
The girl blushed and looked away. Looks like Lucia knew where she was looking. It was frustrating. The goddess seemed to know every little thing that went through Yelena’s head. It was dangerous. Not only because of the teasing, but because it was impossible to fully control one’s thoughts.
The gods are not known for their patience when it comes to disrespect. So, obviously, it was quite a concerning situation. Just one wrong thought could upset the deity in front of the girl.
“I…, I’m sorry!” Yelena stuttered an apology.
“Stop worrying about useless things! Come, sit! We have a lot to talk about.” Lucia patted the bed.
Yelena walked closer. She noticed something. Lucia really wasn’t there. Well, not physically at least. There was no indentation on the mattress, no creases on the purple blanket that was put over the bed. Nothing indicating any weight was placed on the bed itself.
Yelena stopped at the side of the bed. She looked down at her new patron. She was considering what she should do. On the one hand, Lucia made it very clear what to do, yet it felt rude to just sit next to a goddess.
“Didn’t I tell you? Stop worrying about such nonsense! Sure, I’m a deity, but that doesn’t matter now. We are companions on a great adventure now, buddies even. So, just treat me like that.” Lucia had a certain excitement in her voice.
Yelena couldn’t believe her ears. Did this goddess really tell her to act in a more casual way with her? That can’t be, right? Just thinking of such a thing would be considered blasphemy. No way she could do something like that. Lucia let out a loud, annoyed groan.
“Stop, just stop! You are overthinking everything. Well, I can’t exactly blame you. I understand I put you in a difficult situation, but still. Look, it is true, some of us do expect a certain amount of respect when mortals talk to us.” Lucia started to explain her point.
“I’m different. I don’t give a rat’s ass about that. Especially not from the one I chose as my champion. So, just be normal. Like you would talk with any other people.” Lucia made her expectations clear.
Of course, for Yelena it wasn’t that easy. One can’t simply get rid of all the teachings and conditioning she received during her lifetime. How could she ever casually address a goddess?
“I… I’ll try my best.” Yelena gave her answer, but it was obviously far from confident.
“Good enough! Now, sit! I’ll answer your questions now.” Lucia once again invited her to bed.
Yelena felt like she had no choice. She sat down, making sure to leave some space between the two of them. The girl looked over at the goddess. She couldn’t help but notice her body. Her beautiful tan skin was smooth, free of any blemishes or imperfections. Her proportions were perfect. Everything from her large breasts to her firm, round butt.
For a moment, her thoughts wandered. She wasn’t really here, right? Then what would happen if she tried to touch her? Would her hand just go through her, or perhaps could she actually feel the goddess?
“Ah, you mortals are so easily distracted. To answer your question…” Lucia sounded amused.
The goddess got up on her knees and leaned close to Yelena. Their faces were just a couple of inches from each other. Lucia placed her left hand on the girl’s cheek. She could feel it. The touch of her palm and fingers on her face. It was soft, smooth, and warm.
“...Yes, you can! You are the only thing I can touch in this realm. Our bond quite special.” Lucia’s voice was low, sensual even.
Yelena couldn’t help but blush and gulp loudly. She never expected to be in this situation with a beautiful woman, let alone a goddess. She just didn’t know how to react, what to do, or what to say. Her mind went completely blank.
“I know what you were looking at earlier! Maybe you want to know what it feels like to become one with divinity?” Lucia teased the poor girl; she was smiling, clearly enjoying the situation.
“I… I…” Yelena couldn’t even get the words out.
“Don’t worry, I won’t do that. Well, not unless you ask me. Besides, you are still inexperienced. It would be rude of me to steal your first time.” Lucia let go of Yelena’s face and pulled back.
Yelena could breathe a sigh of relief. She was worried the goddess might actually go further than that. Although deep down, she couldn’t deny the fact that she was curious. Her heart was pounding. She was so close to Lucia. All it would have taken was a small lean forward to feel the goddess’ lips against hers.
“Okay, let's talk for real! I allow you to ask your questions.” Lucia was done with the games and took a much more serious tone.
“Ah… yes! Questions. Well… first of all, why me?” That was the first thing on Yelena’s mind.
Normally, choosing a champion was not something gods took lightly. They measured every possibility before entrusting this role to their chosen one. Yet, Yelena couldn’t help but feel inadequate for such a title.
“Fair question. Although it may seem like I made a quick and rather inconsiderate decision, I actually thought it through. You are somebody who can achieve a lot in life. You are a good person; you work hard toward your goals; and you are also a little perverted, which helps. Especially when it comes to dealing with my domain.” Lucia began to explain. That last part didn’t all sound like a compliment, though.
“Overall, you are a perfect fit for me.” She answered the question.
It was hard to believe it. Yelena was indeed all those things, yet it still didn’t make sense. She was young; she had no notable achievements; she didn’t wield great powers yet. What could the goddess possibly see in her?
“I still don’t fully understand. Maybe it is not my place to grasp these things. Instead, I’ll ask my next question, if that is acceptable.” Yelena was still talking with deep respect towards the goddess.
Lucia rolled her eyes. She knew it would take time for the girl to warm up to her. She couldn’t exactly complain. It was she who put the poor girl in this situation.
“Go ahead, you don’t need to ask for permission. Just ask your questions. I’ll do my best to answer them.” Lucia replied to her.
“I’ll do that then. I asked the same thing of Goddess Kytia, but she couldn’t give me a clear answer. She said, only you can provide that. What exactly does it mean to be your champion? Yelena moved on to the next burning question.
Lucia took a moment to think over her answer. How much should she reveal? What exactly should she tell the girl about her new role?
“You are asking what your task is, right? Well, that I can’t tell you. At least not yet. Your first goal is to get stronger. It will all be revealed in time.” Lucia gave her answer.
Yelena didn’t know what to say. She wouldn’t even get a straight answer. How could she complete a task that she doesn’t even get to know?
“I know what you are thinking, but don’t worry about it. This is normal. Most champions don’t know what the end goal is. Not until they are ready. Most didn’t start as great heroes. They were young people, aspiring to do great in the world when they were chosen.” Lucia began to explain.
These were things Yelene never knew. There was little known about the champions before they were chosen. Even then, it was mostly their great deeds that got recorded. She has no way of knowing how these things work.
“As you get stronger, you will eventually be able to tap into your divine powers. Unlocking those will be the first step on our journey together.” Lucia pointed it out.
Yelena looked down at her hands. That was right. As champion, she will be granted the powers of their patron. She couldn’t help but worry. What powers exactly could the goddess of sex and lust grant her?
“You worry it will be some perverted stuff, huh? Well, I can’t blame you; it is my domain after all. I can’t tell you this either. Not yet. What I’ll say, that these powers will benefit you greatly. You have a goal you want to achieve, right? Well, I will make sure you get there. In fact, it is in both of our best interests that you do.” Lucia, for the first time, sounded serious; her voice carried confidence and authority. She was acting as Yelena would expect a deity to.
“Just so I understand correctly, I can’t know my task yet; I can’t know what powers you will grant me, but you want me to continue on the path I’ve already been on, right?” Yelena asked.
“Exactly! It won’t be easy. Even with my help. Think of it as your first official task from me. Get stronger and achieve the role of a magic knight.” Lucia answered.
It made little sense for Yelena. She expected something more… perverted, maybe? The task she was given was pretty normal. In fact, it was something she already set out to do. She couldn’t understand what the goddess was thinking. Either way, it was not her place to try to make sense of the divine machinations.
“There is one more thing. Goddess Kytia said something about… drawbacks. What those might be?” Yelena was a little afraid to ask this question, but she needed to know.
“You already guessed it. It is related to my domain. It is lust. Over time, you will feel a deep desire inside you. First, it won’t be too bad. The more you ignore it, the worse it gets until you won’t be able to think of anything else.” Lucia told her.
It sounded scary. How can Yelena deal with something like that? If it eventually takes over her mind, she might not even be able to finish her first task.
“Wait a moment, let me finish before you spiral out of control. There is something you can do about it. Something you wanted to do for a long time now. You simply have to get intimate with others.” Lucia had a mischievous smile on her face.
Yelena gasped hearing that. She would be lying if she said she never thought of doing such things, but it felt too sudden. She has never been with anyone. Now, suddenly, she is supposed to do all those things?
“I know you are a virgin. Not to mention, you prefer women. Doesn’t exactly make it easy; I’m aware. Still, I think you will do fine. Also, don’t overthink it. At first, you don’t need to go all the way. Smaller things would be enough to satisfy your lust.” The goddess made sure she understood that.
Yelena leaned back and fell onto the bed. She looked up at the ceiling. It was too much to deal with. Even with knowing she wouldn’t need to jump into the most depraved activities straight away, she was still concerned. She didn’t have anyone like that. Finding one wasn’t always that easy either. The whole situation was just overwhelming.
What didn’t help was the heat she was feeling in her body. When did it get so hot in here? She tried to figure out where this was coming from. She soon realized it wasn’t some outside factor. The heat coming from her body. More specifically, around the area under her stomach.
“Yep, it is starting! Sooner than expected.” Lucia pointed it out.
Yelena’s eyes opened wide. She sat up quickly on her bed. She was panicking. How should she deal with it? What should she do?
“Whatever you decide, there is one thing I can tell you. You need to find somebody to help. Preferably somebody you trust. There are multiple ways to deal with it, but it needs to involve another person. You don’t want to be stuck alone when it starts, trust me.” The goddess explained.
There was only one person Yelena could think of. One person she could trust. Yet, she was torn. Could she really do that with her? Would her best friend, Thea, even believe her? Can she even tell her? Yelena looked at Lucia as she thought of those questions.
“You can do whatever you want. You can keep it a secret, you can tell it to people you trust, you can even climb to the top of this building and shout that you are my champion. It matters not to me. Although I would advise against that last one. Until you start to get your divine powers, it is unlikely that people would believe you.”
Yelena nodded. She made up her mind. There was only one person she could fully trust. She had to talk with Thea. She was always the more reasonable of the two. Sure, with her help, they can find a way.
