Celestial Mana…
Meanwhile, Gorruk's pupils constricted into pinholes as he saw his comrade's dismembered body parts.
Though a bit weaker than himself, he didn't even notice how Galen had moved before his partner lost his life.
And now, the man seemed to be focusing on him next.
Heart pounding with fear, he let out a loud roar and braced himself.
'I just have to hold on until the boss comes back and takes care of this anomaly.'
He thought, while using his meagre amount of celestial mana—barely 5% of his total mana reserves—and coated his whole body to raise his defenses to the maximum extent.
It took him almost twenty years to even gather that five percent, and if possible he didn't want to waste it, but now he didn't have the luxury of holding back.
If he were to come out of this alive, he has to use it, no matter how reluctant he was to do so.
{ A/N : Celestial Mana is a higher form of mana, wileded by beings at Demigod Realm and above.
It is almost ten times more powerful than normal mana.
A newly ascended Demigod has to fully replace his normal mana with celestial Mana to reach the Peak Demigod Realm. }
Galen who saw that sight clicked his tongue in irritation.
*Tch*
'How troublesome.'
The reason he was irritated? Killing the Bull had just become way harder with him having a bit of Celestial Mana.
On top of that, he can't even use his battle arts currently since it wasn't made to be used by a whip in the first place.
But there was no time to waste thinking.
So, he swung his whip at Gorruk who was standing there defensively with his weapon raised in front of him to block his attacks.
Just as it seemed as the attack would land harmlessly on the Hammer, the whip twisted like a snake, controlled masterfully by Galen and slid through Gorruk's defenses and struck him squarely on the chest, leaving only the faintest of marks on the mana barrier.
Though, even that little bit of damage to the barrier was instantly restored by the scared Demigod who didn't hesitate to spend his celestial Mana if it means he could live through this ordeal.
A few more exchanges went like that with Galen repeatedly striking through his defense, only to leave a faint mark that disappeared as soon as appearing.
By now, Rudolf was just a few thousand miles away, the distance barely amounting to anything to him—a peak Demigod.
Drawing his right hand back, Rudolf threw a straight punch.
A massive wolf claw formed purely of celestial Mana, left his arm and blazed through the space, its destination obviously being Galen.
It would reach him in a second if he didn't do anything.
