Galen had never ever seen his teacher/lover this vulnerable before.
Even when he said he would have a harem in the future, she cried yes, but not to this extent. Now, she was sobbing like a child who had lost everything.
The little bit of warmth that crept on his face was getting replaced with heaven rending fury as Galen continued to listen.
Galen wanted to stay there and comfort her till got herself together but, he didn't have that much time.
Soon, those Demigods will come crawling back to earth if he doesn't do anything to stop them.
So, giving a gentle pat on Rhea's back, Galen said in the gentlest tone he could muster despite his towering anger.
"I'm sorry I was late, dear."
"Now take a little rest, I'll come back after smashing those pests into bloody puddles."
*Sob...*
"But... They're all Demigods... Will you be okay?"
"Haha..."
"So what? Demigods or not, I could squash a hundred of them if I feel like it."
"Just sit tight and wait for me. I'll be back soon."
"...Hmmm."
Though somewhat skeptical about his claim, Rhea decided to trust him, for now.
Inside her mind, however, she vowed to herself to never become a burden to Galen again, by working really hard and becoming way stronger, stronger than anything that could threaten her.
Looking up from his chest, she gave him a soft kiss, which was slightly salty from all the tears she had shed.
Galen didn't dislike it and enjoyed the brief kiss before dropping her on the ground.
"Go break'em."
Rhea cheered with a puffy face, looking real cute at the moment.
"Haha... I will."
With that, Galen surrounded himself with mana and shot toward the skies.

In outer space, the three Demigods finally regained their senses and stopped themselves using their mana.
Before they could wonder what happened, Galen suddenly appeared in front of them after having pushed himself to the limit.
Behind his back, in the distance, Earth continued leisurely in its orbit around the sun.
Rudolf although angry, didn't say anything at first, only using his mana sense to assess the man in front of him.
When he did, question marks began popping inside his head.
Because the one standing before him was clearly a mortal, but he was able to push all three of them out of the world with just his measly strength.
Though they were all caught off guard, that doesn't make this situation any less bizarre and shocking.
He would have liked to pry open his body to understand the mystery, however his thoughts still revolved around the ravishing beauty he was about to taste to his heart's content.
Just thinking about her curves made him hard. So Rudolf couldn't spare even a bit of attention on Galen currently.
Turning towards his two underlings, he ordered in a stern tone.
"Take care of him for me. Break a few bones and cripple his limbs if you have to. But don't kill him yet. "
"Later, I want to torture him personally for interrupting this king's pleasure."
" "Yes, boss." "
Both of them echoed in unison and turned towards Galen, who hasn't said a word since coming here.
Now that they looked at him closer, his face looked like the epitome of perfection, his charm practically oozing into the surroundings.
Rudolf, in his heat, didn't bother to observe him properly aside from making sure of his cultivation, but these two definitely did, especially the fox demi-human—Kaizen—who had a penchant for going after handsome boys.
"Hey there, little friend."
"I'm assuming you used some kind of precious artifact to throw us here, right?"
"If you are willing to go this far for her, then she must be your girl."
"But now that she caught our boss's eye, she can't escape his clutches until he is satisfied or she drops dead in the middle of it."
"Meanwhile, since you won't be able to do anything about it, let's enjoy ourselves, shall we?"
He asked, licking his lips over his pointed canines.
