The Forgotten Godking

It Seems Lady Luck Is Smiling Upon Me Today…

The universe is vast.

Aside from what we can readily observe, plenty of things were happening outside of our perception.

A spatial storm was one of them.

It mainly happens in between the spatial layers and usually goes unnoticed.

But sometimes, when the storm was strong enough, it would tear apart the surrounding space entirely, resulting in the formation of split – second spatial cracks.

What just happened here was the same thing.

Space was torn open by an unexpected spatial storm which swallowed the escaping spaceship before disappearing.

Inside the storm, the already damaged ship was getting ravaged by the turbulent currents of space, entire chunks of it disappearing within moments, getting teleported to unknown places.

The Demigod captain didn't know whether to laugh or cry at this situation.

Though he had escaped from certain death, it didn't seem like this situation was any better.

Once the ship was down, they would be next.

He could only pray for a miracle at this point.

Whether the universe heard his prayer or not, a spatial crack suddenly opened amidst the storm, a few kilometres from his current position, that he noticed immediately.

And it seems to be starting to close down again.

In a panic, he took full control of the ship and turned it to face the spatial cracks before activating the only remaining thruster with full power not even caring about its potential damage.

The spaceship blurred forward with impossible speed, barely squeezing its deck through the crack, before it was cleanly cut down in the middle, throwing back the remaining half inside the spatial storm.

Rudolf, the Demigod felt like his heart was about to leap out of his chest.

It was a really close call.

However, he was still alive.

Which calls for a celebration.

Throwing his head back, he let out a loud howl that spread in every direction through the empty space.

He was a demi-human from a Fire-Wolf lineage. So yes, that's how he expresses his joy.

As for his subordinates that got left behind and the ones currently freezing and gasping for air inside the broken ship, he didn't care about them one bit.

For Rudolf, his life was the only thing that mattered.

What more could you expect from a space pirate.

He was Rudolf Henry, a peak Demigod nicknamed Crimson Wolf and a captain of one of the notorious pirate groups in his native galaxy, with two Demigod subordinates and more than a thousand mortals of different ranks serving as his underlings.

Even the reason he was getting chased in the first place was because he had robbed an Interstellar merchant travelling between different worlds.

After he had killed him, his family was alerted and launched their advanced warship to hunt him down, resulting in the following events.

As long as I still have my two Demigod subordinates, I could just replace all the others with a simple recruitment.

Every mortal will jump at the slightest opportunity to serve a revered Demigod.

Smirking at thought, he took out his location device to know his current location.

However, there was a problem.

It seems he was at least a few galaxies away since his device doesn't seem to have a record of his current location.

'Well, No matter.'

'I only need to find an inhabited world, I can find my way back after knowing my current location from there.'

'Even if I can't go back, I can just continue to do my pirate work in this unknown galaxy.'

With that thought he began looking around, soon noticing a blue planet exuding some vitality not too far away.

It was orbiting a red coloured star along with seven other planets.

Finding a solar system like this one was already hard enough in space, but finding a planet filled with life?

That could take months if not years even with his cultivation.

But he found one as soon as he turned around.

'It seems Lady Luck is smiling upon me today.'

With a giddy smile, Rudolf gathered his two main subordinates,

ignored the rest,

and began his march towards that blue planet.

Of course, only after collecting all the broken fragments of his spaceship in a space ring.

The ship that he had been using for a few years was also stolen from someone.

Even if it can't be used anymore, selling its parts might still net him a pretty penny.
