Chapter 141: Opal’s Evolution
Cecilia is sitting on the chair. She stands up and opens a portal. After a long moment, she is back, with a tray of steaks. The girls sit around an improvised table, made with earth magic, to eat. I get a piece, I eat with my hands. I am not worried about protocol here. I get a couple of pieces for Muninn and Huginn.
The girls eat the rest of the pile of steaks on the tray. I lay down close to Opal, and relax again. It is like she is emanating some mana purring right now, really relaxing. I blink, and the sun is rising. I look back at the place Opal was, and I don’t see her. I look to my left, she starts caressing me.
“Good morning, my villain.”
She has this pure happiness expression to her. She keeps staring at me.
“Good morning, my love. How are you?”
“Better than ever… A little hungry, though.”
“Let me see what I can get you.” I stand up, I open a portal to our home. I tip toe to the kitchen, there is a tray with steaks on it. There is a note, that I can read because of night vision. It says the steaks still have to go to fire, but they are seasoned. I pick the tray up and bring it back to the beach.
I decide to prepare them, the dragonesses are currently not too good on estimating how hot their breath is, no matter the kind. Opal salivates with the smell. As soon as I am done, she starts eaing the steaks with a lot of voracity.
I wait for her to finish. She is smiling. Like the ones Ruby sends my way. She jumps me, while still naked.
“I need you right now, my lord!”
Her voice slithers into my ear, hot as the desert wind. She’s on top of me before I even sit up, straddling my hips, her thighs tight around me like twin pythons. Her claws dig into my shoulders — not to hurt, but to claim. I feel her heat radiating through my clothes, that primal, supernatural fire pulsing from her core.
You made me stronger. Faster. Better.
She grinds down hard, and I groan. Even through fabric, her pussy is scorching, slick, aching. Her new body hums with power — every movement precise, predatory, and utterly feral.
And now I need you inside me. Now.
Before I answer, she rips my shirt open. Buttons fly into the sand. Her tongue drags across my chest, hot and rough like a dragon’s kiss. I arch into her, grabbing her thick, scaled tail where it wraps around my leg — a silent challenge.
But she doesn’t care about games.
With a snarl, she tears my pants down, freeing my cock — already hard, already dripping. She stares at it like it’s a sacred offering.
Mine. Always mine.
She sinks down in one smooth, brutal motion — no warning — her wet, clenching heat swallowing me whole. I roar.
Fuck! You’re — too tight — too hot —You’re my evolution, Marcelo. My climax. My true form. And this? This is how I worship you.
Her hips snap forward, riding me with a rhythm that’s almost violent. Each thrust pulls a gasp from my lungs. Her inner walls pulse, gripping me like a heartbeat. Her new body doesn’t just take me — it consumes me.
Above us, the sky brightens. The others turn on their sleep, half opening their eyes.
But Opal doesn’t care who sees.
She leans down, her breasts heavy on my chest, her fangs grazing my neck.
You feel it? That burn inside me? That’s your power. Your seed. I want it all. Fill me. Claim me back.
Her pace becomes relentless — a storm of slick heat, pounding hips, and guttural moans. My hands grip her ass, fingers digging into firm, scaled flesh, guiding her deeper, harder.
Yes — like that — take it all, you beautiful beast. Come on my cock. Scream for me.
Her back arches. Her wings flare wide, casting shadows across the dunes. A cry rips from her throat — half roar, half orgasm — as her pussy clamps down like a vise.
*I’m coming! Marcelo — I’m — oh gods —*Her release triggers mine. I thrust up, burying myself to the hilt as I flood her, pulse after pulse, deep in her molten core. She shudders, her inner muscles milking every drop, her body glowing brighter with each surge of my cum.
We collapse together, breathing hard, sweat and salt and magic mixing on our skin.
But I know — this isn’t over.
Because as she licks my ear and whispers,*“Thank you for evolving me… now let’s see if you can handle the others,”*I grin.
I look where the others were sleeping, they are now watching. With a smile on their faces. I smile at the situation. I gather the strips of cloth, the food tray. I open a portal to our room, we move back home. We have a shower to remove the sand that is now everywhere. And I mean everywhere. Then we get back to bed. There are still several hours before sunrise here.
Next morning, we go down for breakfast. I am amazed that Opal eats again. Her appetite is impressive. Between one bite and another, Ruby is eyeing her.
“Sister, do you already know what are your areas? Your peculiarities?” Ruby asks Opal.
“I am not sure yet. The color perception I have now kind of matches the one Shandon described. I would guess that I have some perception but on feelings, but until we find someone that is trying to hide them, it is hard to say.”
Opal turns to Charles. She looks at him. He continues eating. She looks at Aquamarine, and growls. Sounds that human throats are not capable of making. Aquamarine nods. She answers with another couple of growls.
I don’t think I would ever be able to understand this language. I am going to ask them later, it is probably something they want to keep secret from Cecilia’s parents. Opal then clears her throat and continues.
“Besides that, there are a couple more of understandings that just occurred to me. The land, the sea, the air, how it all interact with each other. And just like I can see these connections, I can also interact with them. It is hard to explain, but it is a lot less miraculous than it sounds. I can control weather, but not by sheer force of will. I can interact with several different factors and get the results I want. Sometimes the tiniest change on a breeze can change whether a flood will happen or not in the following week.”
I keep looking at Opal, this is all fantastic. I am impressed. She is acquiring muscle memory for knowledge that takes years of learning.
We eat in silence for some time. After Huginn finishes eating, she puts her right wing to her head. She murmurs something. Unfortunately for her, everyone in the table but Charles and Lucille hears what everyone murmurs all the time. Perks of being in the highest levels.
“Damned dryads…”
I can’t hold a small giggle.
“Huginn? What’s going on?”
“The dryads, papa. They are badgering me to ask you to visit them.”
“How are they badgering you?”
“They are putting on some pressure on all the birds in the land. I can ignore if the amount of birds is small, or I can focus on some in particular. With the amount they are talking to, it ends up being a low sound in my head that is really distracting.”
“Is there something they need?”
“I asked them that, the answer was a question, isn’t your company enough?”
I smile.
“There is something that I have been thinking about. We have to make a kind of portal pumbling, so that I don’t have to keep casting the magic.”
“Do you have any idea on how to do that?”
“I kind of do. I am going to have to ask Brokkr to make an adamantite support for a gem, and then I can create the runes on the support. I can use the recent dragon’s gem for it, it is going to run for centuries to come. Then I drop it inside our waste collector. I am also going to need another one to serve as anchor to the portal.
“I think I had better get started on this project today. Huginn, you can tell the dryads that I will be working on something for the next days. Don’t mention what it is, we can make them a surprise.”
After some moments of silence, Huginn opens her eyes. I look at her.
“Is it ok?”
“Yes, papa. They just pouted a little.”
Then I remember that Opal might want to check her new powers, like her sisters.
“Unless you want to do some power checking, Opal.”
“I am feeling well on that department, my lord. I already understand my powers. It is a question of flexing them here and there. But it shouldn’t be hard.”
“Do you want to go to the desert in Drakonia have a spar with Ruby?”
“Not really my preferred activity, my lord.”
“Do you think Muninn or Huginn might be able to teach you the portal spell?”
“Now, my lord, you ability in saying romantic things always amazes me…”
I laugh. I look at Huginn and blink my right eye. She nods.
“What about the rest of you? What do you want to do?”
Cecilia turns to Ruby, Shandon and Aquamarine.
“What do you think of getting some nail paint in Shoria, and doing a girls day in Marcelo’s playground? With Aisha and Dyrgja? If they are available, of course.”
Aquamarine and Shandon are apparently happy with the suggestion, Ruby not so much. Cecilia looks at Ruby.
“You heard what Marcelo said. There is nothing you can fight anymore. You can kill almost anything on Andrea, but they are not going to provide a fight.”
Ruby lowers her head. She raises an eyebrow towards Shandon, but Shandon shakes her head.
“Ok…”
I notice that Huginn sighs.
“Do you want to go with them, Huginn? Muninn, can you teach the portal spell to Opal?”
Huginn turns to Muninn, staring at him.
“Of course, father.” Muninn answers.
Huginn presses her head against his neck.
We all go back to our room to get dressed. I use my Comm Gem to connect to Dávrin. As always, he responds in a very quick manner.
“Hello friend. How are you?”
“I am well, Dávrin. I have a favor to ask Brokkr, do you mind if I visit?”
“You? Never, my friend.”
After we cut the call, I realize that I could just have portaled outside the palace. It is not like the dwarves don’t know that I can do that. And I don’t exactly pass for a normal dwarf. I might just do that next time.
I portal to the room I always use. Once I open the door, the guard there jumps a little. He then bows deeply, turns around and gets away running. Probably his orders. I remember how to walk around the castle, but I wonder if it would be a blunder.
I sigh, I decide to wait anyway.
In a short while, Dávrin arrives at the room.
“Good morning, friend! How are you?”
“I am well, Dávrin. How are you?”
“We are doing well. Better than well. We are starting talks to increase commercial relationship with the elves! Do you have any idea on what that means?”
“A lot of atypical products, close to monopoly…”
He touches his nose with his right index, points at me and smiles.
“But back to you, friend, is there anything we can help with?”
“Yes. Well, not really you, but it is something that I am going to ask master Brokkr.”
“What is it? I mean, you generally get gifted everything you want generally, so for you to ask for something…”
“I need a little platform to place a beast gem in, that would let the mana flow. I intend on using it to put a rune on it, keep a spell active. Something for the dryads, actually.”
“That sounds interesting.”
“It’s not that unusual. That is basically what a bag of holding is, or the tent with the runes that keep monsters away.”
He shrugs.
“Let’s go talk to uncle, then.”
“Am I not getting in your way? I was thinking of next time just going straight to Brokkr…”
“That would be a pity. Our encounters, more often than not, are very entertaining…”
We walk towards the place where Brokkr and his wife now have their life. The inn, the shop, their home.
There is a huge line, it is turning the corner the same place we are going to turn. The line continues until the inn. It is absolutely gigantic. Dávrin and I keep walking towards the inn. Then we hear some one shouting from our backs.
“HEY! YOU! WHAT THE FUCK YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING? I DON’T CARE HOW TALL YOU ARE!”
Dávrin and I stop. Dávrin is red on the face. He turns around, he is really pissed. He gets close enough to the guy that the shouting spits stay on the unknown dwarf’s beard.
“ARE YOU FUCKING DAFT? DO YOU WANT TO FUCKING GET DEBEARDED? I SHOULD FUNCKING PUT YOU IN CHAINS RIGHT NOW!”
Dávrin then pulls out a dagger, and cuts a piece of the guy’s beard off, and throws it on the floor.
“THINK, YOU FUCKING MORON! THERE IS ONLY ONE FUCKING SURFACER AROUND!”
Dávrin puts his dagger back where it was, and resumes going to the inn. I just accompany him.
In the inn, we are received by a new waitress. The whole place is really busy, there is this background noise of people swallowing liquids. The waitress are running all over the room, with several pitches.
As always, we find Brokkr in his table. Perks of dating the owner. He gestures us to come sit with him. Dávrin is still complaining to himself about what happened outside. Brokkr opens a wide smile.
“What’s wrong, nephew? You look like you broke a masterpiece on the last hit…”
“Can you believe that there was a moron outside that dared to talk to master Marcelo and I, complaining about the line?”
Brokkr straightens in the chair. He has a serious look now.
“Did you place him in chains?”
“I had no guards with me. I just cut half beard off.”
They both laughed. I smile. Brokkr turns to me.
“Master Marcelo! How can I help you?”
“I need a platform for a beast gem. I am going to put some runes on it, so I need the arms towards the gem to have mana channels. I am going to draw the runes myself. I was thinking of asking you to do it. It is going to stay in the dark, though, no one is supposed to deal with it directly. It is something for the dryads.”
“Do you already have the gems you wish to use? That would allow me to do a better fit.”
“Sure, here.”
I reach in my bag of holding, I pull out two hatchling dragon’s monster gem. I put them on the table.
Brokkr takes a look at the beast gems, that are quite large, actually.
“What are these?”
“They are hatchling gems. I have already had some encounters with young and adult dragons.” I think about the encounter with Malagar and his legacy.
Brokkr examines each gem.
“I don’t know why I expected anything normal…” Brokkr laughs. “No problem, master Marcelo, I will get it done.”
“There are some details. It is going to stay in the seward. It needs some metal that would not suffer with that, or rust. And preferably something with a round bottom, that would be standing up.”
“And I thought you would give me something challenging.”
“I must say, I thought that this would be bellow your station, but you are the first name I thought of.”
“So, now master Marcelo is learning the art of flattering…”
We all laugth. But I have to ask something.
“I must ask you, master Brokkr, how much for the device?”
Dávrin stops laughing. Brokkr gets serious.
“It is insulting to ask for a favor and try to write it off by paying!”
“I am sorry… I still have to learn a little more about your culture…”
I look outside, at the line. I decide to ignore Brokkr’s mood.
“What is that line?”
“Oh, word of mouth spread about Ildra’s new ale. She bought some purple peppers, and she has produced some ale with it. The whole city is crazy about it.”
“That is nice. I am happy that things are going well. Are you guys already planning on some merchant routes?”
“We are.” Dávrin answers. “We have seen that some pluvial navigation makes it possible to get very close to our new friends. We are going to make the dwarven cities, with their outposts, great merchant routs.”
“Congratulations!”
A waitress comes close to the table, and leaves one cup for Dávrin and one cup for me. The ale is purple. I have my dwarven necklace on, so I taste the ale. It has now an enriched flavor, with a hint of spicyness in the end. The ale is completely different to what I have tasted here already. Still not my thing, though. My latest thing still is the ale wine.
“What are you boys conspiring about?” Ildra asks. She had approached on Brokkr’s side.
Brokkr laughs.
“Commerce.”
Dávrin laughs even more. He raises his cup to Ildra.
“To the commerce genius in the family! I heard that you are raking in the big shiniest coins in the house! Unless my uncle here is evading taxes…”
I raise my cup.
“Did you hear about the cookie auction? She killed it. She said that each cookie would go for a gold coin, but that just happened because of her. Next big deal I do I will ask her to broker it.”
Brokkr, really proud, slaps her in the butt. She puts her hands over her behind, but she smiles. She gives him a peck on the lips and gets back to her work. Brokkr is smiling, but Dávrin notices.
“I never thought that my spinster uncle would ever find someone!”
Brokkr resumes his tough everyday look. He changes the subject.
“So, master Marcelo, do you have any news?”
“I do, actually. Opal was the last girl to evolve.”
“Like lady Ruby?”
“Yes. All of them are evolved now.”
Dávrin laughs.
“You know, some time ago I was worried that if you wanted to, you could just enslave the whole land, destroy anything that annoyed you, and be done with it before noon.”
“And now?”
“Now is the same, it’s just that you would be done before nine o’clock. To tell you the truth, it doesn’t even make a difference anymore.”
“That’s a way to think about it… And what about at home? How are Dyrgja and Dalvina?”
“My wife is really happy with the stuff we acquired with the elves. And Dalvina…” He shook his head.
“What?”
“All she can talk about is that bard. It’s a good thing that it is so far. And he doesn’t even has a beard! The other day I had the biggest disappointment of my life!”
Brokkr is holding his nephew’s shoulder. Dávrin continues.
“She was looking at the mirror, trying to cover her face… She was trying to see how she would like without a beard! Can you imagine that? Do you know how long she has been growing her beard? How long it would take to grow back? For an elf! Weak, thin, no beard. I bet he can’t even eat spicy food.”
Dávrin puts his hand on his chest, doing an effeminate imitation.
“I’m an elf… I don’t do peppers…”
Dávrin curses and mutters some stuff under his breath, but I don’t think there are any intelligible words. Brokkr and I laugh.
We pass the hours. We talk about Brokkr’s latest commissions. He doesn’t pick many in a year. He and Dávrin keep laughing about some nobles from the surface that went to the outpost, wanting superior quality weapons, only to be denied.
After some time, I decide to go back home. I say my goodbies to them, and walk out to an empty spot. I cast a portal and go back to my room at home. I take a look around, no one. I go down the stairs, expecting to see Opal and Muninn, but they are also gone. I must be looking lost, because Rudolph approaches.
“Lord? Are you looking for lady Opal?”
“Matter of fact, I am. Do you know where she is?”
“No, lord. Lady Opal doesn’t inform her whereabouts.”
“Alright. Thanks, Rudolph.”
I take a look outside. It is two o’clock. There are some hours before the girls are back to have supper. I could visit the guild and take a look at the quests, or I could play with particle magic. Particle magic its. I do that in my study.
I had just started when I hear noises from the living room. The girls are back.
