Chapter 77: Dwarven Dinner
Sunlight streams through the floor-to-ceiling windows of our remodeled manor, illuminating the plush velvet drapes and silk sheets that now adorn the massive, king-sized bed – a far cry from our old quarters. Everything here exudes comfort and luxury: the soft fur rugs underfoot, the scented candles flickering with a warm glow, and the custom-built headboard that feels like it was made for dominance and indulgence. I, Marcelo, sink into this opulent nest, the weight of recent losses still heavy on my mind, but my mate sisters – Shandon, Aquamarine, Opal, Ruby, and Cecilia – close in like a balm, their eyes brimming with determination to lift my spirits. "My lord, let us show you how much we cherish you in this new home," they murmur, their voices a harmonious blend of devotion and desire.
Ruby, always the most enthusiastic, pounces first, her lithe body pressing against mine on the satin pillows. "Oh, my lord, feel this bed – it's perfect for us," she breathes, her hands roaming over my chest with eager, worshipping strokes. She grinds her hips against my growing erection, her enthusiasm igniting a fire that's both tender and insistent. I seize control immediately, my fingers digging into her hips with possessive force, guiding her movements as she straddles me. "That's it, Ruby – take what you need and make me forget," I growl, my dominant edge wrapping around the moment like the luxurious fabrics around us.
Shandon, with her average, steady warmth, settles beside me, her skin glowing in the room's ambient light. "We're glad you brought us here, my lord," she says softly, her lips brushing my ear as her hand trails down to stroke my throbbing cock through the fine linens. The remodeled space amplifies every sensation – the cool air from the state-of-the-art ventilation kissing our skin, the faint scent of imported oils filling the air. I pull her closer, my other hand cupping her breast, thumbing her nipple until it hardens. "You stay because you're mine," I declare, my voice a low command that makes her moan in response, her average pace turning rhythmic as she matches Ruby's grinding.
Opal, ever dignified, positions herself at the foot of the bed, her movements graceful against the backdrop of our upgraded surroundings – marble accents and golden fixtures reflecting our status. "In this haven, you reign supreme, my lord," she intones, her fingers expertly massaging my thighs with a poise that belies the heat building between us. She leans in to lick the pre-cum from my tip, her tongue deliberate and elegant, like a ritual in this palace of pleasure. I grip her hair, guiding her mouth onto me with controlled dominance, savoring how she takes me deep, her dignified facade cracking into soft, needy gasps.
Aquamarine starts shy, as always, lingering near the edge of the bed with a flush creeping up her cheeks. "M-my lord, this place is so... beautiful," she whispers, her voice barely audible over the hum of the manor's high-end sound system playing a subtle, sensual melody. But then she surprises everyone, diving in with her trademark dirty audacity – her tongue lapping at my balls while Opal sucks my shaft, her shyness vanishing into pure filth. "Taste how much we want you," she purrs, her fingers slipping between her own legs to rub her swollen clit. I chuckle darkly, my hand on the back of her head, thrusting gently but firmly. "Good girl, Aquamarine – show them how dirty you get for me."
Cecilia, my fiery human, circles us with her wicked grin, the luxurious mirrors on the walls reflecting our tangled forms in a erotic kaleidoscope. "Look at us, my villain – in this remodeled paradise, we're unstoppable," she teases, her voice dripping with playful tenderness as she climbs onto the bed and positions herself over my face. Her pussy, slick and inviting, lowers onto my mouth, and I devour her with unrestrained hunger, my tongue plunging into her depths while the others continue their worship. "Fuck, yes – eat me like you own me," she cries, her hands gripping the headboard's ornate carvings.
The scene escalates in our lavish sanctuary: Ruby rides me with enthusiastic bounces, her tits jiggling against the soft fabrics; Shandon kisses my neck while fingering herself, her average rhythm syncing with my thrusts; Opal and Aquamarine take turns licking and sucking, their actions a filthy symphony that echoes off the high ceilings. I switch positions with a commanding growl, flipping Ruby onto her back and pounding into her deeply, the bed's plush cushions absorbing our impacts. "You're all staying – and I'll make sure you never regret it," I rasp, my dominance fueling their pleasure as Cecilia grinds harder against my fingers, Aquamarine squirts messily onto the sheets, and Opal begs for my touch with uncharacteristic desperation.
We climax in a wave of tender ecstasy, the room's luxury heightening every pulse – Ruby's pussy clenching around me as she screams, "My lord, yes!"; Shandon shuddering against my side; Aquamarine licking up her own mess with a dirty grin; Cecilia flooding my mouth with her juices; and Opal collapsing in elegant bliss. I follow, emptying into Ruby with a roar, gladness swelling in my chest amidst the afterglow. This remodeled home, with its comforts and extravagances, is our domain – a testament to our bond.
As we lie entwined, the silk sheets cool against our sweat-slicked skin, I pull them closer. "This is what I needed – you, here, with me."
After a shower, we go down for breakfast. Rudolph is at the room, everything is coming back to normal, everything is coming back to routine. During breakfast, I tell Rudolph the dates and the plans. I ask him if he needs coin to buy the stuff. He tells me, as always, not to worry about that. Specially when one of the dinners is going to be for Anthon and Edward.
The girls go to school. They have missed over a week of it, I hope this doesn’t affect their grades too much. Once I think of it, I never asked them how the schools actually work. I am curious if there is an evaluation, or how it works. I am not worried because it is not like any of it will affect anything. But I would like what is the normal in this world. I am wondering on how fun a class with them would be.
The girls are walking today, so that we can use the transfer to the dormitory without looking suspicious. They say goodbye, and leave for school. Perhaps I will enhance the other girls during the days when we don’t have dinners. It takes almost a full day to do that, and it is tiresome for me.
After the house is empty, go to the kitchen to investigate on the preparations. The pepper smell is very strong, right now. Roberta is trying to make an assistant taste a sauce, but I can see that the assistant is shaking. She is looking at the spoon of sauce with terror in her eyes. I don’t know what it is, but I just might start using that for next questioning.
“Hi Roberta.”
“Hi, sir.”
“What is going on?”
“The dwarves that did the remodeling complained that the food was too bland. Rudolph told me that today is a dinner for dwarves, so I am trying to get the sauce just right. But apparently some people is just too weak to pepper to taste stuff.”
I remember that I thought the food in the dwarven city had a kick to it, but it wasn’t overly spicy. And I don’t particularly enjoy spicy food, I go for mild flavours. I take out the medallion, and put it on.
“Let me taste that.”
Roberta offers me a spoon full of sauce. The other girls behind her have a face of profound terror, they are shaking their heads frantically, one is waving her arms as if a catastrophe was about to happen.
I put the spoon in my mouth. Some salt, a pinch of sweet. But as mild as it could be. The girls behind Roberta’s back are wide eyed, frozen. I am imagining how hot this sauce is, to have these kinds of reactions. I am not curious enough to try it without the dwarven pendant, though.
I swallow the sauce, then I turn to Roberta.
“If you want to cook for their taste, you can use this pendant to taste the food. It is going to feel like their cuisine.”
I start taking the pendant, but that was a bad idea. When the pendant is out, my mouth and throat start burning as if I had drank lava. I don’t think the description is figurative either. I put the necklace back. I ask for a glass of milk and drink it. Now I remove the pendant very slowly, to make sure I don’t taste the pepper.
“For gods’ sake, Roberta! What did you use?”
“Just trying to cook something adequate, sir! Something that is not going to ‘taste like milk’.” She does some air quotes. This is turning to be a personal challenge, apparently. I leave the pendant with her.
“Just please put whatever monster acid you cook on the side, so that Cecilia and I don’t die. It is easier to add sauce than removing it.”
“Monster acid…? You actually gave me a good idea, sir! Thank you!” Roberta has a kind of maniacal expression on her face.
I wash my hands several times. Just to avoid any risk of scratching my eyes. I get off the kitchen and I decide to take a stroll around the city. Muninn and Huginn are on my shoulders. I go to the guild, perhaps hear a little bit about the news.
The gossip going around is about Richard’s disappearance. He was very well considered in the guild, he was always an extrovert. People are saying that he knew something was coming, there was a rumor that he fled the city trying to outrun death itself. And then death found him in a backwater guild, and took him out of this world. Just like that, no one ever heard of him anymore. The amount of superstition around is funny.
I am sad that the whole thing went that way, just to be consoled by another adventurer, a steel one. He is sorry that a mithril adventurer was lost, there being so few of them around. I take a look at the quests, there is nothing that stands out. Escort, escort, Fenrir hunt, bandits. The rewards are not that great either, but I can see the other people doing business.
I sit down and have an ale, while I keep my ears open. The story about Richard is coming from someone that had a friend that had been in the guild where he was staying at. It’s amazing how those kind of news travel fast.
Another person in the guild comments on how things have been weird lately. Some even say that the end of the world is near. Another one is commenting that the church of Wrax is gaining a lot of attention and believers. This piece of information feels so weird. Specially when I have on crow on each shoulder right now.
I stay there, enjoying the slowness of this world for a little while. After some time, I pay the ale and go back home. I cannot be late for the dinner.
I get back home, the girls arrive shortly after. We go up, clean ourselves and start dressing up for the dinner. I am ready first, obviously. I see the girls are still getting their dresses and preparing for the dinner. I tell them that I am going to open the portal to Rockslide, I will be waiting there. I go downstairs. Rudolph salutes me.
“Lord, how should I announce the guest of today?”
“Is it really necessary?”
“Lord! Of course! It is protocol!”
I sigh. I couldn’t care less for the protocol, but it apparently is important to Rudolph.
“I don’t know, Rudolph, you can ask him.”
I open a portal to our room on the palace. There is a guard there waiting. Once I come out, he salutes me, and go out running.
A couple of minutes later, I see the family getting here. Everyone is excited. I am happy to meet them again.
“Master Marcelo! I can’t wait to hear your stories!” Brokkr exclaims.
“I am the one curious, actually, master Brokkr. Let’s leave the talks for when we are already there, shall we?”
I gesture towards the portal, and we all go through. At the right time, the girls are coming down the stairs. I can see that Dávrin and Brokkr are murmuring something about the lack of beard all over. Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, I guess. I close the portal behind us.
Rudolph is there, and he salutes the group.
“Who should I announce, lord?”
My face reflects my distaste with this. Dávrin looks at me, I shrug. He goes over to Rudolph, and whispers in his ear. Then Brokkr whispers in his ear as well.
“Presenting the king of the seven cities under the rock, his majesty Dávrin and the royal family.
“Presenting master forger of the seven cities under the rock, master Brokkr.”
Rudolph leaves the room, happy that he got to do his announcing. I laugh at this.
“It is funny how he announces everyone that comes here. Even when there is no one to announce to.”
We all laugh. Dávrin and Brokkr are looking at the construction, at the room. Ildra and Dyrgja are talking to my girls, that meet them at the bottom of the stairs. I gesture to Dávrin and Brokkr to come over take a look at the map of Drakonia, and I tell them about how the map was made. Dávrin gets closer, and inspects the holes that were made in the glass when it was almost liquified.
“How big is this dragon?”
“You are actually the first person to ask that. He is an average elder, so… around 300 feet.”
“300 feet? A single creature? How can that be?”
“Yes, elders are big…” And then I smile. “There are bigger things around, though?”
“There are? What?”
“Have you ever heard of kraken?”
“No.”
“It is a sea monster, it is said to live at the bottom of the ocean. It is rumored to be bigger than that.”
“Where does that rumor come from? The guild?”
“No, this one comes from the dragons.”
I see that Opal is looking at us, not too pleased that we are spending so long in front of the map. I smile at that. I take them to the mantle, where the glass dragon is shining with the light crystal the dwarves placed behind it.
Brokkr and Dávrin take a look at it. I reach for it, and I show them the red dot. I tell them to inject mana in it, and the fire comes out. I can’t help it, every man that does that looks like a kid. I look at Opal, and now she is satisfied.
I put it back, and we go back to the group. The girls are talking about the new thing in Shoria, of painting the nails, and how the dresses are on the surface. The maids put an appetizer out, it is some small pieces of meat with bowls with different sauces. Next to it, there is a glass with what looks like a sauce as well.
Roberta comes around to present them the appetizer.
“I prepared some appetizers because of the kind of meat. Here we have some different sauces. This one is mustard, this one is cheese, and this one is hot sauce. Be careful with it. For those of you that are not able to deal with the pepper, we place this jar and glasses. The milk will allow cut the pepper effects.”
She does a courtesy, and goes back to the kitchen. I can see she was smiling. Brokkr goes over to the appetizers, grabs a fork, and picks one of the mouth sized pieces of meat with one of the forks. He dips the whole piece in the hot sauce. I don’t trust Roberta’s smile.
“Brokkr, WAIT! That is probably really hot! You may want to go easy on that one!”
“Bah! Varr told me about the surface food! Don’t worry, master Marcelo.”
He puts the meat in his mouth, and chews exactly twice. Then he starts bulging his eyes, his face becomes red. He swallows the meat, and go for the jar of milk. He drinks straight from the jar, not caring that a lot of it is spilling on his beard and shirt. He cleans his mouth with his arm.
“BY THE GODS, WOMAN! DO YOU WANT TO KILL US?”
Roberta was at the door, and did a courtesy. Ildra is looking at the floor, shaking her head. Dávrin and I are laughing out loud. A maid brings a towel to Brokkr.
Dávrin and I go near the appetizers. He also gets a piece of meat, but he respects the hot sauce. He just touches a corner of the meat in it, and tastes it. He makes a face of someone that is impressed. Then the mana flavor kicks in. He rolls his eyes, and does some appreciation noises.
“Wow. The sauce is a little on the hot side, but it is good. But then the meat juices hit me. Pray tell, what is this?”
I smile.
“Kraken.”
Brokkr gets close again. This time, he uses the mustard sauce, and tastes it. He also rolls his eyes.
“I don’t think Varr made it justice. ILDRA! COME HERE, TASTE THIS!”
She sighs. She makes him one of those ‘you don’t have to shout’ expressions. All the girls get close. Ildra uses a very light dip in the hot sauce. Davina decides going the safe route, using cheese sauce. I do the same. Of course, kraken meat is already heavenly. With Roberta’s touch, it is indescribable. Brokkr serves himself some milk, this time from a glass, and swishes a little bit before swallowing a little more.
He looks at Roberta, she does another courtesy, and he bows to her. We all laugh. I am really curious about a couple of things. I call Roberta over.
“Roberta, is this hot sauce safe?”
“Yes, sir, we tested with some stray cats, they survived. They just had a little issue of drinking too much milk at once. Right now they are sleeping.”
I take a little pity on the cats. In my mind, they are probably still running around, trying to drink all the milk they can. At least she didn’t try it on the crows, it could start a war. Sometimes I wonder if there is any normal person in this house.
“Roberta, why is the sauce in a drinking glass?”
“I noticed that if I used a wood bowl or a metal one, it would kind of interact with them. It doesn’t affect glass, though.”
“Did you serve something that melts metal, Roberta?”
“No, sir! I would never do that! The metal just looses the shine, it becomes glossy, after half an hour. Nothing worse than that.”
I hold the bridge of my nose and look down, shaking my head. I sigh. Dinner starts to get served. She presents the steaks.
“This is dragon steak, and this is…” She looks at me. I hadn’t mentioned yet.
“Kraken steak.”
We have some animated talks. I see that Dávrin and Brokkr are really going for the kraken meat. I tell them to be careful, they don’t really listen. Then their wives grab their plates, and put some dragon steak on it, and they eat it obediently.
After dinner, we go to the living room. There, Brokkr brings out a holding bag.
“Master Marcelo, you enabled us to once again produce enchanted adamantite.”
I gesture to Brokkr not to worry.
“It is only fair that the first batch of weapons are for your use.”
He hands me a katana. I don’t know how, but it is even more elaborate and better than the previous one. I can feel, from the handle, that there is some additional feel to it.
“Master Brokkr, this blade is absolutely… I don’t have words. But-“
Dávrin cuts me off, and pulls me to the side. I go with him.
“Please, master Marcelo, accept it. Your refusal is going to be a blemish in Brokkr’s forge.”
We both come back.
“I am happy to receive, in my hands, the best ever blade on the surface, master Brokkr.”
He looks satisfied with the answer. He goes around, giving each of the girls their new swords. Each of them worthy of a king’s inheritance. The blades. The work around it. The feel. I thought the ones we had were already perfection, but this is just way beyond it. I look at it again, and then at Brokkr.
“My intention was to show the home that the dwarves basically built for me, and try to gift you with a meal that is probably not available anywhere else. Instead, I am the one getting the gifts. Thank you, Brokkr.”
Dávrin clears his throat.
“Master Marcelo, I am going to use this opportunity to complain about something.”
“Huh? Sure.”
“When you cleared Stonehenge, you did an incomplete service. You see, the city was lost. It had no owner. It didn’t belong to the dwarves anymore; it was monster land.
“That being said, the treasures there belong to the one that defeats the monsters.”
“But Dávrin-“
He cuts me.
“Fair is fair, master Marcelo. The movable treasures are yours, by right and by law. We got the city. Your treasures are your treasures. Please don’t make me loose face.”
I look around, and Dyrgia nods at me, to accept it.
“Are you complete sure?”
“As much as cold adamantite, master Marcelo.”
He hands me a holding bag. I take a look. The holding bag is very big. Perhaps not as big as ours, but still immense. It has a lot of stuff in it. It is going to take a long time just to sort it.
“Well, ah, Thank you. You know I meant it when I said you don’t have to, right?”
“I am sorry, friend, but you are wrong. I do have to.”
I put the holding bag on my waiste. We chat a little more, and have some drinks. After some time, it starts to get late. We say our goodbyes, and I open the portal back to the dwarven palace. They leave. Rudolph approaches us.
“Lord, is there anything else you need? Can I let the kitchen rest?”
“Of course, Rudolph. Thank you. The food was extraordinary. And congratulate Roberta on producing the hot sauce. I wonder how we can dispose of it safely. You know, without poisoning the ground.”
We laugh a little, and the girls and I go to bed.
