The Quantum Wanderer

Chapter 23: Invite

I first portal to my safe. I have to think what to do. All those other corpses are not going to fit here. I portal myself to Piotr’s cave.

“Good afternoon, my lord.”

“Good afternoon, Piotr. How are you feeling?”

“I don’t know what to say, my lord. I had… given up. I…”

And then he realizes he is laying down, and jumps into submission.

“It’s ok, you can just stand up. I have to do some cave searching.”

“Why not use the caves below me, my lord? They used to belong to my legacy, but it was purged by Malagar.”

I fly out, and take a look. The caves are not big enough, but at least there no other caves nearby.

I go back to Piotr.

”Can you fly right now?”

“Yes, my lord. What do you need?”

“I have to dig a new cave, I am going to do in this mountain, so that you can be near, but I need you to be out while I do it, in case it gives in.”

“Of course, my lord, I am going to hunt something.”

Piotr leaves, and I start my work. This montain has actually 3 caves. One that is closer, and one that is almost at the base of the mountain. The mountain is huge, this is good. I go to that lower one, and I start my plasma spells to melt it, and make it the same format as my safe, just bigger. Much, much bigger. I plan to do a semisphere 2000 feet across. This would be unthinkable before, but now it is possible. The question that plagues my mind is whether the rock is going to be able to sustain this. But with my body, right now, I would survive if it came crashing, so lets try.

The whole mountain shakes during the process, but it resisted. This can be my new fridge. Of course, I am not working with the temperature, but I will keep this space sterile and only filled with Nitrogen, it should be enough for the meat to not go bad.

Now I leave, and I go to the smaller cave. I do a similar process, but this is a smaller one, it is going to be used to keep my stuff. Money, mostly.

I go to my safe, and I portal my stuff to the appropriate place.

I go back to Drakonia, and I portal Malagar and those six adults to my new fridge, and then I sterilize the hole thing, and remove all the oxygen, only leaving nitrogen in there.

Now, all the girls are in human form, and we teleport back to my room, in Frolk. Cecilia is going to phreak out. I have to think a way to tell her.

“Shandon, help them get dressed.”

“Of course, my lord.”

I go downstairs, and check if there is anyone there, and it is completely silent. I turn around, and Cecilia hugs me, and starts kissing me all over. Then she just hugs me.

“I was worried sick! Why do you have to do these things?”

“Shhh… It’s ok. Everything is ok…”

She gives out a couple of sobs.

“Wait! How is Shandon? SHANDON! ARE YOU THERE?”

I hear the giggling in the room, but I don’t know if Cecilia does. Shandon comes down the stairs. Behind her are the other three dragons, in human form.

“Who are those?”

“Shandon, can you help here, please?”

“Of course, my lord. These are our mate-sisters, Cecilia.”

Cecilia is looking, kind of in shock. Her face is three inches from mine, she still shouts.

“WHAT THE FUCK? MORE? I WILL TALK TO THEM, BUT THERE BETTER BE A VERY FUCKING GOOD EXPLANATION!!!”

Cecilia drags Shandon to her room, and Shandon signs the other girls to go with them.

I go take a bath. When I come back to my room, they are still talking.

I am too tired right now, I just fall asleep.

As I stirred awake, I felt Cecilia's warm body pressed against mine. Her gentle kisses on my chest were the perfect way to start the day. But I wasn't alone with her. Shandon, the inexperienced dragon in human shape, was by our side, watching us with curiosity.

Cecilia began to slide down my body, her lips tracing a path to my cock. I groaned as she took me in her mouth, her tongue teasing me with gentle licks. Shandon, eager to imitate, tried to follow Cecilia's lead, but her inexperience showed. Her touch was clumsy, and I winced as she accidentally scraped her teeth against my skin.

"My lord," Shandon whispered, looking up at me with apologetic eyes. "Forgive me, I'm not... good at this."

I smiled reassuringly, reaching out to stroke her hair.

"It's okay, little one. You'll get the hang of it."

Cecilia, never one to dominate, smiled at me as she continued to pleasure me.

"My villain, you're too kind to her."

I chuckled, feeling a surge of excitement as Cecilia's words sent shivers down my spine.

"Someone has to teach her, my dear."

As we continued our morning romp, Shandon tried her best to keep up with Cecilia's expert moves. Though she stumbled at times, her enthusiasm was infectious, and soon we were all lost in the thrill of the moment.

After a few rounds, we collapsed together, panting and exhausted. I wrapped my arms around both women, holding them close. "Thank you, my dear Cecilia, and my lovely Shandon. You both are incredible."

Cecilia leaned up, kissing me softly. "Anytime, my villain."

Shandon looked up at me, her eyes shining with adoration.

"Thank you, my lord. I'll try to do better next time."

As we rested, I couldn't help but glance over at the trio of female dragons in human shape - Aquamarine, Opal, and Ruby - who had been instructed to watch and learn from our encounter. They watched us with rapt attention, their eyes burning with a desire to join in on the fun.

For now, though, they remained silent observers, taking in every detail of our intimate moment.

As I lay down, Cecilia lays her head on my left shoulder, and Shandon lays her on my right. I start caressing their heads. The three dragons that were standing kneel down by the be, and place their heads on the mattress.

I am going to need a larger bed. Cecilia starts passing her nail on my chest.

“Humm… Did you gain a level again? You are stronger. Again.”

“Yup, I got a couple.”

“My villain, what are we going to have for breakfast?”

“Hum… We can have some dragon meat. I probably am going to need some help dismantling the guys I have stored.”

“The guys? More than one?”

I do a little shrug.

“Perhaps I should get in touch with Leopold, see if he can help with someone to dismantle those. At this point, I would rather pay someone to do the dismantling than selling it to the guild. We can probably have a purse made. HAHAHAHA”

“How many are we talking about?”

“I would have one dismantled, but I have Hoggar, Malagar, and other six adults laying in the meat safe.”

“I would love to see his face. He is going to go like ‘Oh, my salts! My hero wants to take everything from!’” she says, with her arm on her forehead, very dramatically.

“Probably not like that, but yes… Say… Are you going to open the guild in the morning?”

“This *is* a guild, you know.”

“Ok. So, how are we going to do that? I mean, having the girls eat mean a lot of food, the guild kitchen is not really a practical thing.”

“I hadn’t thought about that. Do all of them eat as much as Shandon?”

“Yes, sister. We are in human form, be we are still dragons. We have the needs of one.”

“Ok… I will tell you what. Would a leg be enough?”

“From an elder or from an adult?”

“Adult for now.”

“Much less than that, my lord. That would be the meal of several weeks. The amounts you have served me were enough to quench my hunger, my lord. You can use that amount as a standard.”

“Ok. And for supper, I will perhaps get you something else.”

“A Fenrir, or a plated rhino, yeti, coaktrice? What do you have in mind, my lord?”

“I was thinking of a Bullgoose, but if you prefer a Fenrir, sure. Fenrir it is.”

Shandon now had a puppy face, as well as the other dragons.

“Of course, my lord. We will eat whatever you find worthy.”

Cecilia sighed. She slapped my shoulder.

“Stop being an asshole.”

The three dragons were shocked. The looked at the floor. Cecilia looked at them with a face, then turned to Shandon.

“What is going on?”

“They are waiting for you to be punished.”

“Girls, there is not going to be punishment.”

They look up, with a very puzzled face. I continue.

“You still have a lot to learn about human culture. At some point things are going to be easier. Don’t worry about it.”

A place to eat… The first place that comes to mind is Piotr’s cave, I might even give him a piece. He did well by me, so I don’t mind.

“Alright, let’s get dressed and move along.”

We all stand up. I start getting dressed, and Cecilia and Shandon take the other girls to Cecilia’s room, to try to find some clothes that would fit them.

After sometime, we are all ready.

Cecilia goes downstairs to start serving breakfast for the farmers that decided to have breakfast in the guild.

I portal the girls over to Piotr’s cave. There are still some left overs of the Bullgoose on the ground. Strangely enough, it doesn’t smell like it went bad. I take a look at the open pieces, and see expand my view, to be able to take a look at the bacteria level.

There are bacteria on the meat, but every time a bacteria tries to consume a piece of the meat, it bursts. Actually, the mana is too much for the bacteria. This is interesting to know. Possibly that is the case with other meat as well, like dragons. The question would be where the tipping point was.

The eye of the three of them bulge when they realize that those scraps have this very distinctive coloring. Shandon looks at it, and drool a little bit.

Piotr assumes position of submission.

“Good morning, my lord. How can I help?”

“I needed some safe space so I could provide some meat for my... mates.”

I knew that, in dragon culture, asking and probing was definitely not a good thing.

“Sure, my lord.”

Opal looks at the dragon with his head on the ground.

“Is he part of your clan, my lord?”

I scratch my chin, and I look at Shandon, kind of asking for help here. The one that answers is Piotr himself.

“I belong to my lord. I submitted all that I am.”

It kind of gives me an irk, but this is dragon culture, and specially in this case, I don’t want to humanize Piotr, it might become his undoing in the future.

“You can stand, Piotr.”

He stands, and gets away from the scraps of the bullgoose. It looks like he thinks I am going to feed that to the girls.

I start to open a portal to the meat safe. Even though it is a mile far from Piotr’s cave now, it is too close. I would need some serious mana, and it would strain space-time too much. I decide to do a two way trip. I tell Muninn to wait here. It flies to the bullgoose, and starts eating a little bit of meat. Given the size of the carcass, it doesn’t make any difference. I can see that Piotr lowers his head at this.

I open a portal to Drakonia and jump in. Then I prepare myself by reinforcing my lungs, and change the air around to nitrogen. Then I open a portal to the meat safe and jump in. I do my best to estimate the amount of meet I am going to need for the four of them, them some for Piotr.

I create a basin, in the stone, close to the wall, I apply some anti-gravity to one of the adults, and I drag it there. There, I cut the hind paw, right at the knee. That should be enough. The blood keeps flowing into the basin, while I dismantle that huge piece of leg into leather, meat, bones and claws. I wait until it stops flowing, and then I cover it up so that it wouldn’t evaporate. I am thinking that it might clog anyway, but nothing I can do, really.

I go back to Piotr’s, and sterilize the safe as always. Muninn is at the same place, but he is not eating anymore. He caws.

I bring the pieces of steak out of my magic bag, and place them in front of the girls. I can see them drooling, but they don’t move.

I take my glove out. I take a knife, I cut a strip, burn it with some fire magic, and put it in my mouth. This is good. Really good. Good think I placed some apart for me and Cecilia, we are going to have ours once the guild is done with breakfast.

I hand out the girls portions, and give it to them. They place it on the floor, spit fire on it, and start eating. Shandon is sitting straight, and yells.

“SISTERS!!! THAT’S NOT HOW WE DO THINGS AROUND OUR LORD!!!! STOP!!!”

They turn their faces to Shandon, she cuts a piece of stake, and eats it.

“Humans prefer their faces clean. Show your respect to our lord.”

I take some knives I have on me, and let them borrow it. And they start eating.

Piotr has his head turned, like a dog does when it is trying to understand something.

“They are living with me, so they have to worry about human culture. You don’t have to worry about that, Piotr.”

When the girls finish eating, the meat is gone. Their bellies are a little enlarged. They start burping. Again, Shandon explain them the new rules of the house.

Once they are done, I take out Piotr’s piece, and hand it to him. He smells it, and recognizes the dragon meat.

“My lord, I don’t deserve it! Thank you.”

Ruby looks at that.

“My lord, he is right, you know? He doesn’t deserve it.”

I sigh. Muninn lands on my shoulder, I give him a piece.

“We are going to talk about that later.”

I provide some water for the girls to clean their faces. They do it, then they spit fire in each other’s faces, cleaning the rest. We portal back to my room.

I go downstairs, and the girls follow. There are a lot people, and a lot of noise in the guild, but once we come down, everything goes quite. We sit down, Cecilia brings the fruity wine to the girls, and some ale for me. She leans down, and whispers in my ear.

“I am really anxious to put your meat in my mouth.”

And then she blew slightly in my ear. I got goosebumps.

The girls were looking, almost taking notes. Cecilia goes back to her work. One of the farmers sits down on a table, and asks her what is available for breakfast. He gets a disappointed face when she says it is the stew.

I giggle a little, this is funny.

We keep drinking, until the guild vacates around an hour later. Cecilia pushes the last customers out of the door, saying that there are guild business that she has to attend.

Once we are alone, Cecilia comes from behind me, and whispers again in my ear.

“Come, my villain, put this meat out so that I put it in my mouth.”

“Ok, ok.”

We all go to the kitchen, and I take out two pieces of stake, and we prepare it.

Opal looks with a curious face to the scene.

“My lord, why are there two pieces?”

“Huh? Oh, one is for her, one is for me…”

All three of them throw themselves at the floor, doing their best submission stance.

“We are sorry, my lord!!! Please spare us!!!”

“Don’t worry about that. It happened the way I designed. Just stand up.”

Cecilia puts her hands on her hips.

“Damn, those girls have issues.”

Shandon turns to her.

“Dragon culture, sister.”

Even though they are standing up, they are looking at the floor. I place my hand on Opal’s cheek.

“Shhh… It’s ok, it’s ok...”

Then they all hug me. This feels good.

We get the plates, and we go back to the bar area in the guild. Cecilia and I eat in silence, and the girls are just whispering amongst themselves. I don’t pay attention to what they are talking. At this point, I already have some trust in Shandon.

After we are done, Cecilia pats her belly.

“I have to start walking or hunting. You are going to fat me up, my villain. Are you planning to have my flesh? Perhaps feed it to Shandon?”

Shandon has this scared face.

“No, sister, I would never. Unless my lord says so, but I would still be sad.”

I laugh. Cecilia is at first surprised with the response, but then laughs as well.

“Leopold asked me to get in touch with you while you were out. Would you mind?”

“Not really. Talking about guild business, can you register Opal, Aquamarine and Ruby?”

“Sure.”

“After that, it would be nice if they all had armor. I wonder what their level would be, in human terms. Do you have any idea? Shandon, do you know?”

“Well, my lord, the humans I saw in Orora were really weak. I could probably beat them. I am a female, but I still am a dragon, my lord.”

“But were you in the guild? Adventurers tend to be stronger than average humans.”

“No, my lord. But I did see some groups of humans in the city that were stronger than average. They wouldn’t make much of a difference in the overall strength of the city. But there might be some more powerful hidden somewhere…?”

“Thanks, good to know.”

Cecilia stands up, gestures to Opal, Aquamarine and Ruby, and registers them. This takes some time, of course.

We dress some casual clothes, and we portal to Orora’s woods. Even Cecilia comes with us. Of course, Muninn is at my shoulder, as usual.

We go into the guild, and as we enter, the guild goes silent. Everyone is looking at us. I can see that the looks I am getting is of hatred, but I understand, given the girls with me, and the fact that most of adventurers are male. There are some females as well, but they are around a fourth to a third of the adventurers present.

We go up the two floors, and I know on Leopold’s. I identify myself, and he orders us in.

We enter, and he seems really intrigued.

“More mates, my little he-ro? I am getting je-a-lous!!!”

I am never going to get used to his façade. “Yup. I had an argument with another elder, he challenged me.”

“My, how dangerous!! I am shocked! I almost can’t stand!!! What happened? Did you get hurt? Did you have to use vi-o-lence? What a tough place!!!”

“I didn’t get hurt. I am here, that basically sums it up.”

“My dear Cecilia, how could you keep me in the dark with something so important related to our hero?”

Cecilia was looking to the right and up, trying to whistle. Nope, she can’t wistle.

“Oh, my heart. Well it doesn’t matter. Cecilia, dear, would you take the girls out for some sweets? Here.”

He handles 5 gold coins to Cecilia. I open her other hand, place another ten coins.

“Cecs, can you help them, and maybe yourself as well, into some adventuring attire? Leather armor will do, and a weapon of their choice. We don’t need anything too fancy, just something that will not bring attention. Girls, go with her, and listen to her, ok?”

“Yes, my lord.”

The dragonesses bow and leave with Cecilia.

Leopold does his silence magic. We both sit on the sofas.

“I have some news that might interest you.”

“Go ahead.”

“The United Front, composed of the human lands, just suffered a major loss on the battle front. They had some special forces clad in dragon attire, with dragon material weapons. When they went for attack, the demons came up with a larger unit. And their dragon parts were actually of better material. The battle was, according to witnesses, impressive. The special forces from each side cut through regular forces as if they were hot knives against butter. But when they reached each other, the human side lost. Badly. Out of the 300 on the human side, they have 63 dead, 230 wounded, and then they retreated. The demon side, with 500 demons, had 12 dead and 35 wounded. And they recovered some material from the humans. An overwhelming victory.”

“Wait, didn’t I sell 3 dragons to the humans? They might have more warriors than that.”

“Yes, but nobles bought most of it. They did some heirloom armors and weapons, but did not participate in battle, nor shared it with soldiers.”

“It goes without saying, some humans are pissed. They think, but they are not sure, that those dragons come from the same person. The problem is that the last two dragons were sold out of the Holy Kingdom and the Empire kind of simultaneously. They are estimating that there is this big organization behind it, and they are looking for it. The king wants to brand them as traitors to the humans, the Holy Kingdom wants to brand them a heretics, and try to do a holy war against them. The milder one of the three is the Empire, that accepted the defeat. Even though the special forces on the human side were theirs.

“On another matter, some of the guild’s upper echelon would like to meet you. Nothing specif, just kind of a party thing. Would you mind?”

“No. Where would they like to meet?”

“The Holy Kingdom’s headquarters. You were in the guild, but in the noble district there is the guild headquarters. A lot safer and more discreet.”

I make a face, I would prefer the Empire, to tell the truth.

“What’s the problem?”

“Last time, I wasn’t allowed to bring Muninn into the city.”

“Ok, I understand… Tell you what, I will make sure they pick you up outside the city in carriages. We are going to need two.”

“Two?”

“Yes, one for you and one for your… mates.”

“And you, I assume?”

“Well, it depends on the amount of time till the meet. I don’t have a world logistic breaking spell in my sleeve.”

“I can give you a ride, no problem. You could even go with your carriage, if you want.”

“No, I prefer to keep my squire out of these world secrets.”

“When would the party be?”

“You can set the date.”

“I don’t know, tomorrow?”

“Tomorrow is a bit too early, can it be 3 days from now? They have to prepare food, drinks, security…”

“Sure, three days from now, in the afternoon. I will pick you up on the way, and we will meet a carriage right at the point that the forest thins, close to the road. I consider myself invited.”

We chit chat a little, and hear a knock on the door, it’s Cecilia.

“There, I got everything. It’s in the magic I borrowed from you.”

“Huh… We were invited to a party, we are also going to need some fancy dresses.”

“Really?!? Couldn’t you have mentioned that… I don’t know… A couple of hours ago?”

“Oh, m-y dear Cecilia, it was m-y little fault. Would you forgive this dear friend of yours?”

Leopold had this inclinated instance, and he was doing puppy eyes to Cecilia.

“Humph. Ok.”

I hand her another five gold coins, and she leaves with the dragonesses again.

I stay in Leopold offices, chit-chatting. During the chit-chat, we come to the conclusion that doing the portal outside the city would not be easy, mud and whatnot. We decided that I would get to the venue, and then portal everyone in. He also showed me a picture of the guild headquarters, and where I could open the portal, inside the main lobby.

At some point, Leopold gives me this look.

“Did you get stronger again? I am even afraid to ask.”

“This time you took longer to notice.”

“It’s more subtle, actually. I think it is getting to a point where I cannot measure anymore.”

“Makes sense. I am 253 now.”

He sighs.

“You do realize, that at this point, you can just tell the Pope, the leader for the Holy Kingdom, to get off your chair, and he will worship you, right?”

I giggled.

“Do you intend to advance anymore?”

“Nope, I am good. The last levels were more of a side effect than a goal, anyway.”

We chit-chat some more.

Some hours later, they come back again. Cecilia is smiling.

Ok, let’s go home, time for supper.
