I Must Create Every Monster Girl Myself Then!!!

Chapter 28: Slime Biology

7 Months Earlier

Utarou and Julia had been growing a lot in these last 2 months.

Utarou, mentally, learned how to be a strapping survivalist as he finally ate food that wasn’t moss for the first time in nearly 2 years, creating clothes from leaves, and stolen leather from Orcs.

Julia, physically becoming a larger puddle of good, having to be upgraded to a larger wooden bucket with a metal handle which Utarou had stolen from a goblin camp.

Utarou had learnt through the various mumblings and whatever passed as strategy amongst Orcs that Dracons had been declared open territory by King Oldsier as some kind of peace deal to keep the force from invading the capital.

“Bastard sold me out, and for what! Just for wanting monster girls?!” Utarou thought with disgust.

“Though, a cute goblin girl wouldn’t go astray, sadly it seems like they only have the men here…” Utarou sighed as he sat in a bush at the edge of a goblin camp, they were short and terrible looking creatures, with unsightly features and misshapen skulls. Only 3 feet tall they somehow possessed the strength to rip animals in half with their bare hands, and out of the invading creatures they were the weakest.

Utarou looked towards Julia, who he’d been feeding a steady diet of his hand and whatever he could scrounge up, he needed to up her XP and get her that tier 4 skill as soon as possible.

“Maybe Templar Adam will just leave us alone to be dealt with by these bastards?” Utarou thought, before quickly deciding it was better to be safe than sorry.

“Ekekek! Man thing! Man thing!” A goblin shrieked, pointing towards Utarou, immediately throwing a rock at him before running to grab one of the rusty swords they’d stolen from who knows where.

“Oh come on! I was hidden!” Utarou shouted indignantly as he picked up and began what he’d been doing a lot of these last 2 months.

Running.

He dropped the bucket's handle into the Julia puddle, causing the slime to become sturdy.

He’d learnt a lot about slime biology in these last 2 months as well. Turns out when a slime comes into contact with metal, their outer skin solidifies into a more solid shape, ideal for running.

Additionally, Slimes could get full! He found Julia could only digest roughly half her mass in one day, presumably using some of that to get bigger and the rest of it for XP, at least that’s what Utarou hoped.

He hadn’t figured out how, or even if Julia could communicate at this stage, but he figured she’d appreciate the meals.

3 Months Earlier

“C’mon Julia, c’mon! You can do it! C’mon! Look! He’s doing it!” Utarou begged, Julia was now overflowing the massive bucket he’d stolen a few months prior.

The pair of them sat in a cave, where Utarou had found an all natural slime monster, which was slowly inching its way towards them.

“COME ON! LOOK! THIS ONE IS A STUPID MONSTER! IT CAN BARELY DIGEST MY FINGER NAILS AND YOU CAN EAT MY WHOLE HAND!” Utarou shouted desperately, he didn’t know how long he had until Templar Adam arrived, but he could sense it was soon.

The air had changed, there was an oncoming storm.

And he didn’t have any more ideas on how to help Julia. To keep doing what he had been doing with no success or feedback would be madness.

But what other choice did he have?

Utarou looked at the green slime, and looked at Julia’s blue slime.

“Maybe…” Utarou cupped his hands and grabbed a chunk of the blue slime, dropping it onto the green slime, hoping perhaps she could take it over.

There was more blue than green, and Julia was clearly more powerful, at least in terms of digestion.

Unfortunately it seemed as if there was some missing component, perhaps that total cellular control, perhaps something else, but Utarou could only watch as the green slime effortlessly absorbed the blue slime into it’s mass and changed it’s colour.

“Great… Awesome… Cool…” Utarou sighed.

“Remember, if you figure this out, you won’t just have slime girls… You’ll have EVERY monster girl… The first step is the hardest… Remember that… you can do it!” Utarou thought, clenching his fist and punching the sky.

“YEAH!”

Utarou’s perfect immortality also made it so his mental state could heal from anything.

Well, anything that wasn’t total ego death, like when he thought there was no chance of monster girls.
