After she said this, her gaze unintentionally met Yan Huoshui’s. As if scalded, her eyelashes trembled slightly.
Yan Huoshui had always been skilled at suppressing and hiding his true feelings, but before Shi Lan, he too seemed to feel her love and was gradually letting some of his own show.
His smile was no longer the false front he put up for outsiders; it was filled with sincerity. His deep, affectionate red eyes were like an ocean one could drown in. The blurry figures of the guests were reflected in the outer edges of his pupils, but at their very center, there was only her.
