In chapter 42, I wrote, “unlocking the next rank isn’t just a matter of leveling.”
Well, that’s not true. It is very much just a matter of leveling. My initial idea was to make people break through ranks like in a cultivation novel. But it didn’t work out, and I ended up doing away with the idea.
