Chapter 114: Misunderstandings? by Harem-Fan

Because this is an official meeting, we aren't in Owen's personal living area, but a formal sitting-room with many armchairs and four couches surrounding a large square table...

Owen slapped one of my Telepathy Talismans on his arm, because not only did Leandra come, but when Xia Bing heard the Demonic Sect was coming, she insisted on being here.

It's obvious the Ice Palace is suspicious and hates the Demonic Sect.

Actually, I calculated this as a possibility, and I am going to drive her bat-shit and make Owen happy, while giving the Ice Phoenix Sect a black eye.

Koneko and Baihu are both here just for this misunderstanding and prank of mine!

Thankfully the couches are large, so all four of my group are comfortable on a single couch, plus Ku Mu is actually sitting close enough to feel her warmth and smell her floral and pine smell.

Owen has Leandra to his right, with Xia Bing to his left.

In chairs off to the side are royal scribes transcribing all that is said here for the records, as this is official cross borders diplomacy.

I could tell this grey-blue eyed Xia Bing wasn't as calm as she normally is, as a hint of anger is still there deep in her eyes.

For some reason though, her eyes seem pale-blue but other times they are grey-blue?

"As the Holy Son and First Elder are the only two candidates for Sect Master, Wan Meidi asked me to do it, but I refused because I'm a westerner and the sect wouldn't agree..."

But I grinned and told her.

I touched the empty tea cup in front of me and it vanished from everyone's sight.

Only Owen with<True Sight>and I the Gu's master could still see and sense the tea cup sitting there without moving.

I put the cup onto my palm and said.

"A transparent Gu Insect worm I found was turned into what is called a "Hidden Gu" that makes things undetectable, but by the strongest senses. The cup is in my hand, and yet you nor the Gu expert Emperor can see it... So tell me Queen Bing, say what you said to me a moment ago please."

I commanded the Hidden Gu to allow the cup to be senseed again, and Owen thinks he knows how I hide Gu now, not totally inaccurate though.

My Hidden Gu was one I started raising first due to the time Hanzo tried to kill me.

If I would've had this guy to help me, I could've ran away without him finding me, at least not without Taki Tsuki and Owen's eyes.

Xia Bing was speechless for a moment, and Baihu was giggling at her ignorance.

"Bing'er, in the matter of Gu, I think the First Elder is the strongest Gu master in the world, and if Loki learned from her, I believe the two know more than you or I, and I would guess, the Emperor of Heavenly Palace Sect, right?"

Thank the gods I didn't tell this lunatic I could also turn myself invisible, or I might one day die in a trap.

"Anyway, I even swear on my noble title, heart daemon, and family that both "Wan Meidi and I share a Love Gu", and this is true. Hey, I will even swear an oath to the Heavens to strike me down if what I said about the Love Gu is wrong, happy?"

Eastern Cultivators really believe in oaths, so Xia Bing believes me here.

Fun fact, many Easterners have lost their lives foolishly to swear to Heaven and get fried, and that is why oaths are feared over there.

Westerners aren't stupid enough to call down lightning for an oath and don't encourage others to make vows to Heaven.

Owen smiled, because the Ex-God of trickery and Deceit won't be shot down by the Heavens will.

I sat down when Xia Bing reluctantly agreed, because I didn't get struck, so First Elder and I are bound for sure...

Xia Gu (Xia Bing) thought she had to report this back to her father... The Emperor.

"What are you saying? Baihu is the Sect Master's wife, not the Holy Maiden. Our Holy Maiden is the niece of our Third Elder, and she is Koneko. Not only that, but you announced at the gathering your son was the Holy Son of Ice Palace..."

"I'm offering King Owen a "Honorary" title and he doesn't listen to me, but takes the spot of our Holy Son, who can't marry Koneko without the spot we give King Owen... Are you new to how Sects run?"

My face looks absolutely punchable, but Owen is just looking at the blushing Koneko, and he asked with heated eyes.
