Chapter 105: Gloomy Castle Albion? by Harem-Fan

The week-long Winter Council is nearing its end, and what would come, came...

On day two, the antagonists pulled Princess Lana from the throne in shame as the Half Elf Daughter of Leandra, damaging the new first Queen's reputation as a sneaky Elf woman.

Due to pressure from the nobles in session, Owen was forced to reduce her status of Princess due to her marriage with me, to that of a Countess of the North.

This move was brought on hard by the Eastern Principality and Xia Bing factions of course.

But this is good for us, as now Lana can openly embrace her true nature of a kind Half Elf beauty.

So Lana openly joined us down in the Northern Sky Duchy seating, and was shamelessly hugged by Angelica as her still legally adoptive mother.

Yeah, Angelica is now enjoying this title over my 4th wife Lana, who can't refute it as Angelica did raise her more than Leandra did.

An interesting twist to the Summoner Divorce Act was that there was also an addition of "Gu" infected targets to be included, and this move was pushed by Queen Alice Dark under the guise of her Mother Camila's example.

The bit of Owen's hope for Alice was dashed seeing that, but he sighed in his heart and now thinks there are ways to hide and fake a Gu, and there are, so he knows Alice will leave one day for sure.

The reason Alice wanted this "Gu" stipulation wasn't listed as Love Gu but just Gu, was she heard about me growing a Golden Silkworm Gu that can make her powerful and begged me for it.

And with Camila convincing me with physical-pleasures, I promised to use it on Alice when it was ready.

The feeding of this Golden Silkworm Gu will be tied to taking in my bodily fluids (any) into her own body to feed it, and she will gain all the Luck, Fate, and Inspiration benefits that it grants.

Camila told me it was so Alice could also join the ranks of the climb for Godhood in Myst.

As the week was passing and Angelica and Lana were packing to move out, and with both Ariel and Alice leaving Castle Albion, the place was feeling really gloomy as hell.

Only Owen, Leandra, Gondul, Skogul, Xia Bing (till the secret realm opens), Feng Balder, and Vali Balder are left as residents.

Ariel said she won't stay longer, and it was obvious she was still peeved at Xia Bing, Feng, and Vali for not letting her daughter have a shot at the throne. (She still loves Owen a lot, just won't stay around Xia Bing for now. Mermaids are very loyal to their mates until the man's death.)

Alice was blunt and said after the Winter Council was over, she was moving to her Dark Flagship to stay till the Dragons Graveyard opened.

When Owen offered to lash Vali publicly for his crimes, Alice denied him and told him that was then, and now only his banishment from the kingdom, and the removal of Feng and adding Blade would mend fences... Most of which Owen couldn't do, and she knew it.

This talk with Alice was what convinced Owen that Alice was lost to him.

With the final session about to end, the next six months and year policies seemed to make the kingdom feel unease and uncertainty.

The foundation of the royal family was cracked and splintered, with the future two Human heirs all looking like poor prospects for a new ruler after Owen steps down.

Due to this, despite Vali doing his "Prank" that had some truth to it, most citizens of the Balder Kingdom still support him over Feng Balder and why banishing, imprisoning, or killing Vali was a political nightmare.

As for the wedding of Lisa, Pandora, Angelica, and Opal we kept it small with only close friends and family invited.

The first reason for this is the fact Owen won't come due to Angelica.

Before leaving with her cousin, Queen Ariel will show for the Royal Family and Opal's Mermaid support.

Thorin is coming for sure, and surprisingly, Duke Cross will stay behind to attend as he likes the new Angelica more than her past self, and wants to come as an apology for exposing us.

I really like this guy as a human being.

The other reason for a small wedding banquet?

Currently, The Living Regent Loki Dark Sky is the number one scum of the western lands.

For some reason the Dwarves, Elves, Amazons, and even the Southern Cross all think I am the cause of everything wrong. (Mostly true)

I have been confirmed to have stolen two Queens, one Human and one Vampire.

This is morally fucking bad news for my bottomed out reputation, and why the Elves aren't going to treat me well here soon as Celia is taking the stage to publicly flay me.

This is why she hates her job, and she doesn't want to say bad things about my actual scummy behavior.

I know Celia still likes me because my manipulation of Yggi hasn't spread from herself, and this alone is like showing me her loyalty.

So when she scolds me, I will just smile at her doing her shifty job with an open heart...

Just before noon in the council hall, Owen was ready to end the whole shit week...

"Elven Ambassador Celia Breeze, I believe I left the Elven Kingdom with an ultimatum to apologize to Count Loki Sky for the past assassination attempts. So what response will the Elves make?"

We already know the Elves will renege on their word, so we prepared a few contingencies, including war to call their bluffs.

The Elves will go to war over huge matters regarding the World Tree or their home Island, but are cowards to start fights over other topics like this.

In the open central floor, Celia stood with twelve other high ranking men and women of the Elven Kingdom, as she was pulling out her prepared scroll response.

"Originally, we the Elves had intended to apologize to the Human known as Count Loki sky for accusing him of being in league with the Dark Elves. But since he is now The Living Regent Loki Dark Sky, who has a direct connection to the Dark Elves, we must decline..." (Dhampir plus High Elf equals a Dark Elf)

"We can only forget about the troubled mistakes of the past and let bygones be bygones for our two Kingdoms... Signed by his Royal Highness the Elf King."

Owen openly sighs and says to the delegation of stuck up Elves.

"I understand your King's intentions. Sadly, I have had a lot on my plate this week and won't play games with the Elven Kingdom this time... All non-married Elves can go home immediately. Your delegation Elves that wanted to enter Dragons Graveyard need to leave with the rest of you..."

"If the Elves wish to step foot on Human lands, then we will capture or kill them and declare war. Our people will withdraw trade and ambassadors to your Elven Kingdom that reneges on their treaties and deal. I believe my terms were clear as I said it in person, and I am impatient."

Owen closed his one exposed tired blue eye to show his tough stance to the Elves.

Celia knew this would happen, while the rest of the ambassadors hoped he wouldn't take it seriously, and in the past has been kind to them.

Owen was always open to Elves as an Otaku, and especially after marrying his greatest love, Leandra, so he tolerated them like a pushover for her sake.

After talking to Leandra about it, she agreed to be tough this time, even if it leads to war.

Unlike Owen with not choosing Alice over Vali, Leandra will support Owen over anyone else, including her daughter Lana if need be.

Leandra and Owen's love is so deep that if I had Gu'd Leandra or summoned her, Owen really would fight me to kill me or himself, without a second thought.

If Leandra was struck down or stolen, Owen would "Blacken" and become evil without a doubt.

The second Elf ambassador protested.

"That is going too far, isn't it? Our King will let bygones go, and Loki killed our people as well. Are you willing to go to war for one child?"

Owen opened his eye, and asked or said to me.

"Count Sky, what do you say about my choices? Do you want to accept this apology from the Elves?"

Most everyone shifted in their seats as I had been quiet all week, and they wanted to see how I would treat the Elves.

"My King Balder, this is tough for me, because it depends on how you want me to respond to them... At first you demanded an apology to Count Loki Sky. But now they dismissed this due to calling me, "The Living Regent Loki Dark Sky..."

"So the answer depends on if I am responding as the Balder Count, or the Regent of Dark Vampires. naturally I am inclined to deal with this matter as a loyal citizen of the Northern Sky Duchy and not bring up my wife Camila in this matter..."

"I will remind the ambassadors of all nations that the Dark Vampires and Balder Kingdom have an alliance treaty like with the Elves, so I can actually use one or both of my held titles to deal with international disputes!"

Camila smiled seeing me support her kingdom so openly.

Ambassadors from all sides forgot the Vampires and Humans have had a peace treaty for a while.

Sylvia loves I pointed out loyalty to her Sky Duchy.

Angelica likes me being bad.

Thorin is praying to not go to war with hot Elves.

Celia knows my smile means I am up to no good and holds her breath in wait.

Owen likes how I worded this and asked the delegation.

"So, you won't apologize to The Living Regent Loki Dark Sky, this I understand and won't push. But he is Count Sky, who I said to apologize to and since your feeble argument is based on the Vampire identity, let's hear how that identity thinks of it then."

I think I showed a wicked smile, because many flinched as I began my act.

"As the husband to Matriarch Camila Dark, I, The Living Regent Loki Dark Sky, think Elves are tasty, and I know because I tasted one, hehe. If they don't want to apologize to the King of Balder, the Dark Vampire kingdom will support King Owen in eating, I meant fighting the shameless Elven Nation!"

Camila had to hold back her laugh of me pretending to eat Elves as a Human, but she nodded to agree to my declaration of war.

I sent a message to Celia, causing her ears and cheeks to glow with blush.

]That was true, I did taste your lips, so I told no lie here. I wanted to kiss you again, Celia.[

My grin was very evil, but it was due to Celia wanting to run out of the room in shame.

King Owen spoke again.

"There you go. You heard both sides. My official decree and the unofficial Vampire decree. So apologize or leave my Kingdom now."

Naturally many Humans don't like Owen's harsh stance and never want war, as it damages their interests.

The Elves panicked and gathered in hushed whispers with Celia.

It seems based on their panic, they aren't allowed to come home with bad news, as I predicted with Owen.

After a heated talk, Celia then spoke to King Owen.

"We will agree to apologize to the King of the Humans for our disrespect of your citizens. How is this compensation? We can discuss the details in private on the actual apology?"

When Owen looked at me for my opinion, I shrugged and said.

]They are wording me as your citizen, nothing wrong with that. And the Elves won't offer anything good anyway. I am not a fan of war, so just settle it anyway you like. I am just wanting to move this farce away from us. We are protecting rule one by not fighting.[

"Then as your first official international duty, 1st Queen Leandra, I shall let you settle the compensations here and now."

When Leandra stood with her mischievous eyes, I started to worry, because I know those eyes.

"As an Elf myself, and the Queen of Humans, I believe I know how to settle this matter diplomatically to satisfy all parties with the least harm!"

Buzz~! I was fucking floored, because with a wave of her hands, out came three books and some skimpy maid outfits!

The books are titled... [The Perfect Maid, Volume One], [The Perfect Maid, Volume Two], and [The Perfect Maid, Volume Three]!

If my eyes aren't deceiving me, the exposure of that attire is at least an inch under regulations?!

"In order for our two Kingdoms to avoid war, the ambassador Celia Breeze should learn about being a proper Royal Maid, and serve my daughter's husband,Count Loki Sky as a maid till the end of the Dragons Graveyard is over..."

"In order to assure the safety of Ambassador Celia, Loki is forbidden to touch or Gu her without her permission, and if any harm befalls her by her temporary Master, the Human Kingdom will in turn apologize, haha?"

Oh my fucking god?!

Leandra is the biggest troll, and even Owen looks ashamed, because he wrote those books.

He damn well knows this won't end well for any of us now.

While the Elves gathered in a huddle, the happiest person here was Pandora!

Her excitement for having a trainee in the three arts was making her start to show some true emotional growth.

When the Elves finally broke their hushed arguments, they pushed poor Celia forward and she spoke with a pair of blushing ears.

"Queen Leandra Breeze, the Elves to avoid war, agree to your shameless request."

Leandra could tell her niece was very happy inside, and this was truly the best outcome for the kingdom, Celia, and Loki.

When Leandra handed over the books, wire rimmed cosmetic glasses, and sets of clothing she said.

"Oh-my~ Memorize and learn all three books well, then the spirit of serving one's master will let you be happy, haha. Now go with Count Sky and his family, and I will see you after the Secret Realm ends."

With Leandra's impish wink and smile, Celia carried the things towards our section.

When Celia finds out what nonsense is inside the three books, she even fights with me later.

Her fellow Elves had (fake) looks of sympathy, while inside they had thoughts of... 'Better you than me, haha!'

Owen stood and declared.

"This officially brings the Winter Council Gathering to an end. See you in six months for the Summer Council Gathering."

Then Owen led the royal family out first...
