Chapter 93: Ball Aftermath & Invitation? by Harem-Fan

On our way to leave Castle Albion, we stopped by to pick up my Amazon ambassador to go home...

Ayala was a tad alert of Camila, due to her power and notoriety for being an unreasonable woman. (Amazons respect strength, even Vampires strength.)

Well, I was in the shits with them for having Taki Tsuki as my Summons and lover, so guess how they will take the news of me being married to the strongest Vampire that they hate? (Alice and Leandra being sister Queens is why the Elves hate Leandra.)

I've noticed many of the women around me are on the world's disliked list... Taki Tsuki, Shehuang, Baihu, Pandora, Angelica, Camila, and Ayala.

While we were leaving for the exit portion of the castle, where teleportation isn't blocked, Ayala asked Camila.

"Matriarch Dark... What will you now do about your homeland and your marriage to Loki? You aren't planning on taking him away from us, are you?"

Camila, still glued to my left arm like it belongs to herself and kinda does, said calmly.

"Loki is free to roam the world of Myst as he pleases. As for my Dark Vampire Secret Realm (tied to the plane of Death not Dark) and the city in the Undead Lands, it operates without me if I see fit..."

"I don't manage day-to-day operations, and leave much of it to Alice as the de-facto leader. I tend to sleep for long periods or go off to adventure and these spells last for decades or centuries at times..."

"Naturally, I finally fell in love, so I will linger around my husband and support him as he needs. He is growing rapidly and I don't want to miss his rise to the peak of Myst and beyond, haha~!"

She didn't pick me for my looks, my status as a male Mage, or my charm.

No, she chose me for the fact I could give her something she longed for her long and grey existence, and the chance to break the Demi-God ceiling, and stand at the top.

Camila hungered for it so much, she was willing to even be subject to a Love Gu and give herself to me as my wife.

In a dark, ambitious, and pragmatic way, I really respect her willingness to go that extra mile to achieve her long time goals.

That is why I am willing to let her join me in my same ambition that Yggi entrusted onto me.

Ayala nodded to her words and said to Camila.

"Then that is good, because if I need your help to deal with some elements back in the Amazon Isles, I hope to rely on you there?"

I pointed to the exit and said.

Looks like they are busy seeing guests off this morning.

King Owen was there, and just a few of his Queens were seeing off the ball guests that had stayed in the guest room last night...

Off to the side, talking with other leaving guests was Angelica and Xia Bing.

Ariel is obviously off resting, due to her pregnancy.

Gondul and Skogul aren't here as well, as their Queen roles are less kingdom duty oriented and more about Owen's protection and personal happiness.

The reason to see guests off is both to end the Royal Ball, and to give out personal invitations to other events for the remaining six days of meet and greets.

Events like tournaments, parties, business deals, gambling, marriage arrangements, personal alliances, and many other recreational events to bring nobles and dignitaries closer.

Previously, this was the busiest time for Angelica to blackmail, covertly move pieces, and plant seeds of ruin around the world of Myst.

But now, Angelica looks relieved of her burdens and is seeing off guests with a placid expression...

Queen Cross has only shifted her dastardly ways to benefit me and her after she loses her royal crown, as her nature hasn't changed from before she and I became a couple, but shifted to a different goal, like with Camila.

The first to make a scene was actually Alice Dark.

Owen, hearing his Vampire wife's exclamation, looked over to my group of four and was dumbfounded to see Camila latched onto my arm like a gold-digger.

When Angelica saw this scene, her brow furrowed, so I sent Angelica and Pandora a mental message saying the following...

"Thank you for coming to the Royal Ball, Duchess and Count Sky, as well as you, Ambassador Ayala... Matriarch Camila, are you leaving the castle?"

Yeah, thanks to Owen, this was inevitable, but sadly true.

"Alice, The Living Regent Loki Dark Sky isn't my Queen Consort, but my equal husband. Correct your wording next time. From now on, call him father. As for the Love Gu you're so afraid of, my child? The youngest person out here is Ayala at 107 years old... Now I think I might need a handkerchief!

Leandra handed invitations to both Sylvia and Ayala, then said.

"In two days, I am hosting a ladies garden party, and I hope you will attend. No men though, haha."

Both women accepted the invites, which let them bring other women of noble rank with them.

Vali came to me, handed me an invitation letter and said....

"Loki, I am hosting a gathering of younger nobles under 200 years of age and the dignitaries, to gather for a night at the Royal Casino. It is reserved only for us. My brothers and sister will be there as well."

I saw Angelica mouth "Go" to me, so I took it and said.

"Thanks, you had me at Lana, haha."

But I saw a sneaky smile on his face, like he wasn't telling me something that amused him.

Queen Xia Bing came to me and handed me an invitation, startling me?!

"I am hosting a martial arts gathering, with my disciples and Knights from the kingdom to exchange skills and teachings. I was told by many about your hand to hand ability... You may come and bring your Summons to participate as well."

My eyes couldn't help but glance at Angelica and Pandora, who inherited my Wing Chun kung-fu and Archery skills.

"Wow, we will use the battle arena at school, it sounds like fun. Thank you, I will come to your gathering, Queen Xia Bing."

Yeah, I think bringing Baihu to this will end badly for me, sigh.

"Husband Loki, I will go to watch you there... My interest in watching you fighting has peaked."

I guess Camila wants to either protect me or be a hot cheerleader?

So after a few more parting words and more invitations, we left for home...
