Chapter 50: The True Revelation
Outside the impenetrable black-purple dome, the Heavenly Radiance Sect’s pavilion had descended into absolute chaos.
Dozens of elders and elite disciples were on their feet, shouting and attacking the barrier with everything they had. Golden holy flames, radiant palm strikes, and binding chains of light slammed against the void domain repeatedly, but the mist remained completely unyielding.
“Open the domain right now!” one senior elder roared, his face twisted with fury and fear. “Save the Saintess! Mu Hui is in danger inside there with that demon!”
Another elder launched a powerful holy light technique that exploded harmlessly against the black-purple wall. “Break it down! We cannot let that monster harm our Saintess any further!”
Disciples were crying out in panic and rage. Many had grown up idolizing Mu Hui as their radiant hope and guiding light. Seeing her trapped inside the domain with the silver-haired demon filled them with terror and helplessness.
“Saintess Mu Hui! Hold on! We are coming for you!”
The neutral organizers watched tensely from their high platform. Elder Xuan Wei’s face was pale as he communicated urgently with the other exalted elders through secret formations. They had tried to intervene multiple times, but the Empress’s domain was on a completely different level. It was far beyond what any of them could easily dismantle without causing massive collateral damage to the arena and the spectators.
Inside the Void Clan’s pavilion, the atmosphere was calm but electric. Ling Qingmei watched the dome with worried eyes, her hands clenched tightly in her lap. The Patriarch sat with a solemn expression, while Su Qinglan stood protectively nearby, her body fully healed and radiating new power.
The Empress’s transformation and the domain had not gone unnoticed by them.
Suddenly, the black-purple dome began to dissipate.
The mist thinned and faded away, revealing the stage to the entire arena once more.
A heavy silence fell over the crowd as the scene became visible.
In the center of the stage stood the Empress, but she was no longer the same as before.
Her silver-white hair had grown longer and shimmered with an ethereal, otherworldly glow, strands of pure void energy weaving through it like living shadows. Her crimson eyes had deepened into an ancient, regal shade that seemed to contain galaxies of darkness. Her already perfect figure had refined further, her skin like flawless jade, her curves more pronounced and commanding, radiating supreme beauty and dominance. She stood tall and untouchable, her presence alone making the air feel heavier.
Mu Hui knelt before her, heavily injured, breathing raggedly, her voluptuous body marked and exhausted. She was alive, but clearly defeated.
The announcer’s voice rang out, slightly shaky:
“The Grand Final — Winner: Ling Zihan of the Primordial Void Immortal Clan!”
The arena exploded into wild chaos.
The crowd went absolutely mad, cheers, gasps, screams, and frenzied discussions filling the stands. Many were in awe of the Empress’s new appearance, assuming it was a dramatic side effect of breaking through to a higher realm.
“Look at her! That glow… that presence… Did she just undergo a major transformation mid-battle?” one excited young cultivator shouted.
“Her hair… her eyes… she looks even more otherworldly now. Is this what happens when someone reaches the Dao Manifestation?” another spectator added in wonder.
A group of female disciples from a smaller sect whispered among themselves. “She’s beautiful… terrifyingly beautiful… I have never seen anyone radiate such presence before.”
The neutral organizers were stunned. Elder Xuan Wei’s face turned deathly pale as he stared at the Empress. Unlike the crowd, he sensed something far deeper. The aura radiating from her was ancient, overwhelming, and unmistakably familiar from forbidden records he had once studied in secret.
It can’t be… he thought, his hands trembling. The true Void Empress… Xuan Yin… She has returned…
He quickly masked his terror, but inside he was shaken to his core. He knew the legends. He knew what this transformation truly meant.
In the Heavenly Radiance Sect’s pavilion, the elders were in uproar. Some shouted demands for immediate revenge, while others stared in horrified silence. Mu Hui’s loyal disciples were crying and shouting, but many were also mesmerized by the Empress’s new divine-like appearance.
One elder roared, “This is unacceptable! She interfered with the match and now she looks like that? We demand an explanation!”
In the Void Clan’s pavilion, the reaction was one of awe and reverence. Ling Qingmei’s eyes widened as she saw her daughter’s transformed beauty. She whispered softly, “Zihan… you have become even more magnificent…”
The Patriarch bowed his head deeply in respect. Su Qinglan smiled with pure devotion, knowing the full truth behind the change.
The Empress stood calmly on the stage, her new ethereal presence commanding the entire arena. She looked out over the roaring crowd with cold, regal indifference, as if their reactions meant nothing to her.
The continent had just witnessed the birth of a new legend.
And the true Void Empress had finally revealed a glimpse of her real self.
The murmurs continued to spread like wildfire throughout the floating island and beyond. Spiritual transmissions carried the news across the continent at lightning speed. Discussions about the “transformed Void Young Mistress” and the mysterious domain filled teahouses, clans, and sects everywhere.
Some praised the excitement it would bring. Others condemned it as manipulation designed to weaken the rising Void Clan.
The Empress paid no attention to the chaos she had caused. She turned and stepped off the stage with calm, regal grace, her silver-white hair flowing behind her like a banner of supremacy, as the crowd continued to roar around her. The entire arena was in an uproar, but her presence alone seemed to part the noise like a blade cutting through water.
Meanwhile, several Heavenly Radiance Sect elders and disciples rushed onto the stage to retrieve their injured Saintess. Mu Hui was barely conscious; her voluptuous body covered in bruises and void burns. They lifted her carefully onto a stretcher, their faces pale with worry and anger.
“Quickly! Get her to the healing pavilion!” one elder shouted. “The Saintess needs immediate treatment!”
As they carried Mu Hui away, she weakly lifted her head, her purple eyes still locked on the departing Empress with a mix of obsession and defeat.
The Empress walked straight toward the Void Clan’s pavilion, her steps unhurried and commanding. The crowd’s roars followed her, but she ignored them completely.
When she reached the Void Clan seating area, the entire clan rose as one. Without a single word from her, every disciple, elder, and servant knelt deeply in perfect unison. The sight was awe-inspiring, hundreds of people bowing in complete reverence to their Young Mistress.
Ling Tianhao, the Patriarch, stepped forward first. He knelt on one knee, his head bowed low in deep respect.
“Empress,” he said, his voice carrying clearly through the pavilion, “you have brought glory to our clan once again. Your power… your transformation… it is beyond anything we could have imagined.”
The Empress stopped in front of him, looking down at the kneeling Patriarch with calm authority.
“Rise, Tianhao,” she said softly. “You have served the clan well during its time of decline. But the time has come for a new era.”
Ling Tianhao stood up slowly, his eyes filled with reverence. “I have waited my entire life for this moment. When you broke through with the Eternal Void Jade Heart, I felt it. The ancient presence. The true Void Empress has returned. I, Ling Tianhao, hereby surrender my position as Patriarch. The clan is yours to lead. I will serve you as the lowest disciple if you will have me.”
A ripple of surprise and emotion spread through the kneeling clan members.
The Empress looked at him for a long moment, then spoke with regal grace.
“You have been a faithful leader during difficult times. I accept your surrender. From this moment forward, I am no longer Ling Zihan. I am Xuan Yin, the Void Empress, returned to lead our clan to true greatness.”
The entire Void Clan bowed even deeper, their voices rising in unison.
“All hail the Empress Xuan Yin!”
“All hail our true leader!”
Ling Qingmei stepped forward, tears in her eyes. She knelt gracefully before her daughter.
“My Empress… my daughter… I have always known there was something greater within you. I am yours to command. Mother, elder, servant — whatever you need me to be.”
The Empress placed a gentle hand on her mother’s head. “You will remain my mother. And you will be one of my closest advisors. Your wisdom and love have guided me even when I was still adjusting to this vessel.”
Su Qinglan, who had been healed earlier, knelt beside Ling Qingmei. Her voice was filled with pure devotion.
“Empress Xuan Yin… I am yours forever. Command me as you wish. I will fight, serve, or die for you.”
The Empress looked over her kneeling clan with a satisfied smile.
“Rise, all of you. Today marks the true return of the Primordial Void Immortal Clan. We will no longer hide in the shadows of decline. We will claim our rightful place at the top of this continent… and eventually, beyond it.”
Ling Tianhao stood tall once more, his voice filled with emotion. “Empress, your power… that transformation on the stage… the entire continent is talking about it. They think it is a side effect of breaking through to a higher realm. Only a few of us understand the truth.”
The Empress nodded. “Let them believe what they wish for now. The time to reveal my full identity will come when I am ready. For now, they see only a transformed Young Mistress. That is enough.”
One of the elders spoke up respectfully. “Empress, what of Mu Hui? She was heavily injured. The Heavenly Radiance Sect is furious.”
The Empress’s smile turned cold. “Mu Hui is no longer a threat. She has been… dealt with. She now understands who I truly am. She will not oppose us again.”
The Empress’s crimson eyes glowed with ancient power, “The lock on this world is weakening with every step I take. Soon, I will break it completely.”
The Patriarch bowed once more. “Then we will follow you to the end, Empress Xuan Yin. Whatever you command, we will obey.”
The entire clan echoed his words with fervent loyalty.
The Empress looked out over her people, her presence radiating supreme authority.
“The age of decline is over. The age of the Void Empress has begun.”
The Void Clan pavilion was filled with reverence and hope as they celebrated their true leader’s ascension.
Meanwhile, the rest of the continent continued to speculate wildly about the Empress’s dramatic transformation, unaware of the full truth that had been revealed within the clan.
The final declaration had been made.
And the true Void Empress had returned.
