Although all the cameras and eyes were on Jaden and Luna, the ten of them remained calm.
After kissing for more than ten seconds, the two finally separated. Jaden turned to the crowd and said, "The award ceremony isn’t over yet. Please continue to pay attention to the event. Thank you."
Then, still holding hands, they returned to their seats. They put on masks and tried not to steal the spotlight from the rest of the ceremony.
As soon as the event ended, they quietly left without accepting any interviews.
That night, Jaden and Luna received countless congratulatory calls and messages, but Jaden didn’t respond to any of them. His family didn’t disturb him either. Only Luna had to answer calls from her family.
She told them, "Find a time to come to Kilmore City. I’ll get Jaden to take you to the family farm."
It wasn’t until the next morning that Jaden replied to all his messages. That evening, he took Luna home for dinner.
His family was already familiar with her. In addition to offering their congratulations and warm wishes, they encouraged her to eat well and visit more often.
No one said anything like, "Jaden, you’d better treat Luna well, or we won’t let you off,"
nor did anyone say to Luna, "If Jaden ever mistreats you, tell us. We’ll make sure to stand up for you."
