Chapter 259
After Avery received the news, she walked out of the room and pushed open Maria’s door. "Maria, are you crying?" she asked.
Maria leaned against the window and covered her face with her hands. She was sobbing softly.
When she heard Avery’s voice, she pounced over and reached out her hands to grab Avery. However, she realized that her hands were covered in tears. She quickly retracted her hands and wiped them on her clothes. She said, "Avery, I didn’t plagiarize. How would I dare to plagiarize others..."
"I know." Avery got her a glass of water. "You don’t have to worry. No one can accuse you. I will punish the person who slandered you."
Maria did not doubt that Avery meant what she said. She just felt that she was useless. She sniffled and said, "Avery, I’m sorry. You always help me every time something happens. I’m so useless."

Maria looked at the flowers on the windowsill and pondered. "That makes sense. I’ve only been studying design for a year. It seems like I was too anxious," she said.
