Avery, who was in seclusion doing scientific research, received the latest news from Jaden. She expressed her admiration for the way Jaden handled the scandal. She used her hacking skills to dig out the private messages and personal information of the rumormonger and handed them to Jaden. Then, she stood up and stretched. "I’m so tired." After twisting on the spot a few times, she walked to the window and looked at the boundless sea outside.
The Institute of Physics was situated on an unassuming island, surrounded by cliffs on three sides, with a beach and a small parking area for aircraft on the fourth side.
The island was enveloped in lush greenery. Most parts of the large research institute lay underground, with only a small portion visible above ground, mostly hidden by foliage. It was nearly impossible to recognize it as a building.
What was even more remarkable was that the people and equipment in the research institute could see outside, while the humans and creatures beyond, including satellites and detectors, could not see anything within the institute. Even the lights couldn’t penetrate its confines. Avery still had not figured out what the building’s external material was made of. Her master told her, "If you want to know, study it yourself."
She felt it might take her a lifetime to understand it all. Her master possessed technology that was far ahead of its time.
"Miss Carter, your tea and coffee." A staff member walked over and handed her a cup of coffee.
"Thank you, Miss Einstein." Avery took the coffee from her and took a sip.
Newton Einstein stood by and stared at her.
Avery narrowed her eyes slightly and revealed a satisfied expression. "The coffee you made is improving all the time. I love it." Newton’s eyes crinkled, and the sweetness of her voice rose by at least ten percentage points. "I’ll make your coffee next time too."
