Chapter 308: I miss you
"I have something I’m going to need to do on my own this weekend." Andrew told Maxwell while they were at home, a few days later. The weekend was quickly approaching, as was Maxwell’s follow up appointment with the doctor.
Maxwell was curled up on the couch, cream blanket tucked around him as he read a book. Andrew was folding laundry. Half of the house was already packed, courtesy of Maxwell’s connections, and it was the part of the house that neither of them really used.
Andrew was sure that was going to change once they moved into their new place.
Maxwell looked up, his eyes narrowing as he stared at Andrew.
"Does this have anything to do with what we did earlier this week?" Andrew wasn’t following Maxwell’s train of thought, not right away, until Maxwell made an obvious look over Andrew’s body, his eyes lingering on his cock. Andrew’s face flushed.
"N-No! It’s nothing like that! I just...now that I know I can confidently leave the house and manage on my own, at least for a few hours, I just want to go...visit my Mom and do a few other things on my own." Maxwell’s expression melted immediately, all suspicion leaving his body.
"Oh Baby. You don’t have to ask me to do that." Maxwell told him and Andrew’s ears burned. That wasn’t all he was doing, but that was the biggest part of what he was doing.
There was no way, in this life or another, where Andrew was allowed to get married without discussing it with his Mom. So, before he met up with Amir and Amir’s grandmother at a coffee shop on Saturday, tomorrow, Andrew needed to bring her into the loop. And clean up her resting place.
He felt like a bad son that he hadn’t been able to do so, and he told Maxwell as much.
