Chapter 102: A little white lie
After Maxwell had gotten his fill, Andrew took a moment in the bathroom to recover himself. Compose himself. It wouldn’t do either of them any good if both of them didn’t have their head on straight.
Not in this circumstance.
Andrew thought that Maxwell was going to be fine, but he also took Michael’s warnings seriously. And there were his own feelings involved now. Once Maxwell’s heat had gone down to what most would consider a ’manageable level’, Andrew’s own body had begun to act up.
It was actually a good thing that Maxwell had slept for so long. It gave Andrew time to freak the fuck out. He’d had a whole day just to stare at his new face, his new fangs without Maxwell telling him everything was going to be fine in the background.
Not that he hated that Maxwell cared about him so much. But sometimes...sometimes you needed to just freak out for a little bit.
There was also the issue with his height. And his body.
Andrew had outgrown his clothes in the 24 hours after 4 full days he’d spent with Maxwell during his heat. He was grateful that Maxwell hadn’t noticed yet, and that Michael had planned for this. He was already on the biggest size that Michael had brought, and had been too embarrassed to bring it up to Michael when he’d been panicking about his teeth coming in.
But it had happened. Andrew had grown. Again. It had been painful, and he’d been in agony besides Maxwell in the bed. He hadn’t wanted to wake him, so he’d moved himself to the bathroom and just...lay on the cool tiles there.
There had been a small part of him that had worried that Maxwell would get up and walk in on him in the bathroom, but then he’d brush it off. There was no way Maxwell was walking unassisted for a while. He’d snort at that, the thought bringing him some comfort, before drifting into a dreamless slumber that would be interrupted by the pain.
