Chapter 51: Soothing your boyfriend
"How are you doing?" Maxwell asked, and Andrew puffed air out from his mouth, exhausted and it wasn’t even mid afternoon yet.
"How does it look like?" He asked, a little tartly, and Maxwell chuckled, pushing himself off of the wall to approach him.
"Like someone is upset with me. I can’t imagine why." Andrew turned his face away from the approaching Maxwell, who only laughed louder at his actions. Andrew felt Maxwell’s hand on his chest, and he flinched. "Was I supposed to lie to the good Doctor? The one who only wants this information to help you? Hmm?" Maxwell asked softly, sweetly, and Andrew didn’t know how to respond. Maxwell applied more pressure to Andrew’s chest, sliding his hand up until it rested over Andrew’s nipple, and he swallowed. "Especially when I find you two alone in the bedroom surrounded by items used during sex? And I know you two have a history?" Andrew did look at Maxwell when he said that.
"Michael and I were never like that!" Andrew protested, never wanting Maxwell to think that he had a wandering thought. His lips met Maxwell’s as soon as he turned his head, and Andrew could feel Maxwell’s smile against his lips.
"I know Baby, but I wanted to get you to look at me. You’re being quite stubborn." Andrew blinked, staring at Maxwell before he felt an emotion well in his chest. It felt like annoyance, but it wasn’t as potent as that.
"It’s not very nice to test me. It’s even worse when you don’t mean it." Andrew told him, trying to remain firm, but knew as Maxwell’s hand slid up to his neck he was folding fast. Maxwell’s gaze as he looked over Andrew’s face was soft, warm, and filled with desire. Andrew felt his cheeks heat.
"You’re right, and I’m sorry about that. I didn’t think it would upset you, but clearly I was wrong. Can I kiss it better?" He asked, tempting Andrew, and Andrew grit his teeth.
"You have work to do, don’t you?" Andrew asked, and Maxwell bent down and pressed kisses against his neck, tilting his head back. Andrew gripped onto the bedsheets so he didn’t put his hands on Maxwell. He knew it was over if he did.
"Comforting my boyfriend is more important than work." Maxwell told him in between kisses, and Andrew felt his tense body relax into the bed.
