"I can't sense Grandpa Gran's energy anymore, but the pressure from his power was absolutely terrifying!"

Pan repeatedly patted her chest, still shaken.

"Yeah. If we had been even a little slower, we'd definitely be dead!"

Vegeta's face was deathly pale as well.

"We finally got to see Gran's full power. So this is the power of the Angel Realm…"

Goku's heart was still unable to calm down.

"Goku, what are you talking about? What do you mean by the power of the Angel Realm?"

The Old Kai hurried over.

Seeing the Old Kai arrive, Goku explained, "It's that Gran I told you about before. His power realm has actually reached that… Angel Realm thing!"

"What?!"

The Old Kai was instantly dumbfounded.

"Didn't you say he was a Candidate God of Destruction? How could he possibly possess the power of the Angel Realm?"

"Old Kai, what level is the Angel Realm exactly?"

Goku scratched his head.

The Old Kai jumped up and smacked Goku on the head.

"Idiot! Do you really need to ask? The power of the Angel Realm is the power possessed by Angels!"

"I've never seen an Angel before! How am I supposed to know how strong an Angel is?!"

Goku clutched his head and crouched down, sucking in a sharp breath.

The Old Kai had no time to argue with Goku. He turned toward Chronoa.

"That guy is the Candidate God of Destruction of Universe 7 from another timeline. How could he possess the power of the Angel Realm?"

Chronoa rolled her eyes.

"Don't you know that every timeline has certain differences? Gran just happens to be one of those differences in another timeline. What's so strange about him possessing the power of the Angel Realm?"

"..."

What's so strange about it?

It was ridiculously strange!

Where in the entire world had there ever been a Candidate God of Destruction this powerful?

Forget about a Candidate God of Destruction—even the strongest, Beerus, didn't possess the power of the Angel Realm!

The Old Kai was completely stunned by Chronoa's casual explanation.

After a moment of silence, he looked around at everyone.

He knew all of them.

Clearly, Gran wasn't here.

"Goku, the entire universe was trembling just now. Was that caused by your battle with Demigra?"

"Yes… and no."

"Huh?"

The Old Kai frowned. He couldn't understand what Goku meant.

"If you're saying that Gran possesses the power of the Angel Realm, then Demigra should have been nothing more than a small fry to you."

Everyone nodded.

That was indeed the case.

If Gran hadn't deliberately wanted to torment Demigra, Demigra wouldn't have lasted even a second against him.

"Goku, didn't you say you were going to bring him here to the Realm of the Kais? Where is he?"

Faced with the Old Kai's question, Goku hesitated.

Before the Old Kai could answer, Chronoa shook her head slightly.

She had investigated the affairs of the GT timeline back then as well, but she had never been able to determine how the GT timeline had ended up in its current state.

As expected, this old man probably didn't know either.

"I don't know."

The Old Kai let out a deep sigh.

"But if my guess is correct, that rift must have something to do with the disappearance of the God of Destruction from our timeline."

Chronoa rolled her eyes.

Vegeta grabbed Goku by the collar and roared.

"I just didn't want you guys to worry."

Goku looked somewhat guilty with Vegeta's face practically pressed against his own.

"Hmph. Since Gran is investigating it this time, I'll let you off. But if you keep something like this from me again, I won't forgive you."

Vegeta snorted before releasing Goku.

Goku finally asked, "Old Kai, what should we do now?"

Everyone looked toward the Old Kai.

After all, the old man had specifically instructed Goku to bring Gran here.

"Originally, when I asked Goku to bring Gran here, I wanted to tell him the secrets of our timeline. At the same time, I wanted him to help us locate our Beerus…"

The Old Kai fell into thought.

"That rift must have something to do with Lord Beerus's disappearance."

"Since you're saying that Gran has already broken through the rift and gone behind it to investigate, and even Lord Time King has personally intervened, then the situation probably won't spiral completely out of control."

"There's nothing we can do now except wait."

With that, the Old Kai looked toward the little girl, Chronoa.

Inside an unimaginably dark passage, a figure was rapidly flying through it.

That figure was Gran.

After arriving behind the rift, Gran had done nothing but fly forward.

He wasn't traveling particularly fast.

Instead, he flew while carefully observing the surroundings.

Although the passage was pitch-black, with his perception, he could still sense its general structure.

This passage really did give him the feeling of a sewer.

Cold.

Damp.

Foul-smelling…

The same types of sinister, evil energy that had seeped through the rift earlier filled this passage.

More importantly...

This passage was frighteningly long!

Gran had already been flying for quite some time.

His speed couldn't exactly be called fast, but it certainly wasn't slow either. Under normal circumstances, he would have already crossed the distance of an entire galaxy.

Yet he still hadn't reached the end.

They had made exactly the same sounds.

"Sure enough, the other side of this rift is connected to those monsters!"

Instead of retreating, Gran accelerated toward the source of the sounds.

His speed gradually increased.

As time passed, the roars grew louder and louder.

After who knew how long, and after crossing who knew how much distance, Gran finally saw a faint light ahead.

"Is this the end?"

Gran had been flying through this pitch-black passage for an unknown amount of time.

The oppressive feeling that had been weighing on him was finally relieved when he saw that light.

Whoosh!

Gran accelerated and shot toward the light.

The instant he emerged...

He was completely stunned by the scene before him.

The starry sky was shattered.

Countless stellar remnants drifted through space.

The entire region looked as though it had experienced a massive cosmic war.

"Why does this look so much like Universe 7?!"

Gran clenched his fists tightly.

He was the Candidate God of Destruction of Universe 7, so he naturally knew the structure of his universe extremely well.

Although this place was in complete ruin, he could still recognize it.

This was indeed a region of Universe 7.

"Wait…"

Gran suddenly realized something.

According to what Chronoa had told him, the GT timeline had once been struck by a mysterious force, eventually leaving behind only the small fragment of the universe where GT Goku and the others remained.

That fragment of the universe had become known as the Lost Land—a place where the God of Destruction and Angel no longer existed.

Instead, everything was dim and gloomy, resembling the Dark Demon Realm.

And everywhere...

There was that cold, sinister, evil aura.

"ROOOAR!!!"

A deafening roar suddenly entered Gran's ears.

He turned toward the source.

Behind the remnants of several shattered planets, a mass of black smoke suddenly emerged.

Two crimson eyes were hanging within it.

"That roar really is coming from a monster!"

Gran was just about to rush forward and eliminate it.

But the next second...

"ROAR! ROAR!!"

Countless monsters emerged from behind the various stellar remnants.

The sight was somewhat reminiscent of Meta-Cooler's army appearing one after another.

Even Gran felt a chill run through him at the sight.

However…

After sensing their power, Gran relaxed.

These monsters weren't particularly strong.

The strongest among them only possessed the power of the Third Stage of the Divine Realm.

"You scared the hell out of me!"

"Stop shouting. You're about to die anyway."

Gran tilted his head slightly and effortlessly dodged the beam.

His right hand clenched into a fist.

He punched toward the monster's head.

BOOM!

The force generated by his punch swept forward like a storm.

Before Gran's fist even touched the monster's head, the terrifying force of his punch had already dispersed the black smoke surrounding its body.

The monster's true form was revealed.

Just as expected...

It was that same skeletal creature.

Its entire body was covered in spikes.

Its head resembled that of a crocodile, with a long, sharp horn protruding from the center of its forehead.

The next moment...

Gran's fist finally slammed into the monster's head.

Although he had returned to his normal state, his pure physical power still possessed the strength of the Initial Stage of the Sixth Stage of the Divine Realm.

The monster's entire head exploded.

Wherever the purple light passed, the monsters were completely destroyed.

Their bodies turned into countless points of purple light before disappearing into the Sumī Realm.

"If these things escaped into the GT timeline, they'd definitely become a huge threat to it."

Gran stood atop a piece of stellar debris.

Every monster in the surrounding area had been wiped out.

He nodded in satisfaction.

"But what exactly happened here?"

Gran fell into deep thought once again.

This shattered region of space was simply too strange.

It looked as though it had been struck by some kind of tremendous force.

And as for these monsters...

Where had they come from?

Were Beerus and Whis of the GT timeline still alive?

Question after question flashed through Gran's mind.

He closed his eyes and attempted to sense their energy.

If Gran hadn't become a divine being, he would have had no way of sensing them this way.

After all, divine beings could not normally sense the energy of other divine beings.

After a while...

"The energy here is too chaotic. There's no way I can sense anything!"

Gran opened his eyes and helplessly sighed.

According to his perception, the entire world was filled with that cold, sinister energy.

He couldn't sense Beerus or Whis at all.

As for whether those two were still alive...

He had even less of a clue.

"Then how am I supposed to investigate this?"

Gran frowned.

He had thought that once he reached the other side of the rift, he would immediately uncover the truth.

Instead, he had arrived here and was still completely clueless.

For a moment, Gran had no idea what to do.

He stood there and thought for a long time.

Finally, he decided to visit the Destroyer's Realm first.

Perhaps Beerus of the GT timeline hadn't died.

Maybe he and Whis were still staying at the original Destroyer's Realm.

As long as he could find Beerus and Whis of the GT timeline, he would surely be able to uncover the truth.

With that thought, Gran raised his hand and swiped forward.

He intended to use his Space-Time Power to travel to the original location of the Destroyer's Realm.

Nothing happened.

Gran couldn't tear open the space here at all.

He refused to believe it.

He swiped his hand several more times.

He couldn't create even the slightest spatial rift.

"Hm?"

Gran's eyes widened.

"What's wrong with this space?"
