Nagato looked at Uchiha Taiga and asked, "What is the reason?"
His tone carried obvious curiosity. After all, he had watched Uchiha Taiga establish this project and bring it all the way to this point. They were only one step away from success, yet progress had stalled.
Uchiha Taiga turned around to face Nagato.
"It's actually quite simple."

It asked the same question Nagato had, but its tone held no curiosity—only sheer bewilderment.
Uchiha Taiga didn't explain. He turned his head to look at the God Tree.
"I know what the God Tree's next step should be."
His voice was calm, but his tone held uncontainable excitement.
Nagato immediately nodded.
"Are you starting now?"
His gaze also shifted to the God Tree.
Namikaze Minato stood to the side, watching the scene unfold.
Although he was highly capable, his understanding of Yin Style and Yang Style was clearly not as profound as Uchiha Taiga's or Nagato's. He only half-understood what they were talking about.

Nagato and Namikaze Minato followed him. The three of them retreated over a hundred meters before stopping.
Uchiha Taiga tilted his head up to look at the God Tree. Nagato stood to his left, Namikaze Minato to his right, and the Nine-Tails floated beside Minato, its chakra flames flickering in the air.
The three men and the fox all gazed up at the massive tree.
To the senses of the three men, the spiritual essence emanating from the God Tree was growing stronger and stronger.
This kind of spiritual essence had not been there before.
Although the previous God Tree could feel emotions and express joy and excitement, that feeling had been vague, as if obscured by a layer of fog.

"Look up there."
He raised his hand, pointing to the top of the canopy.
Everyone followed his gaze.
At the very top of the canopy, a dense, colorful light emerged.
The light was composed of many colors: red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.
They intertwined, fluttering like a colorful ribbon at the top of the canopy, closely resembling an aurora.
At the same time, an immeasurable amount of mist erupted from within the canopy.
It converged to form a massive sea of mist, cascading down from the canopy like a flowing waterfall.

Uchiha Taiga smiled.

Nagato stared at the scene, slightly dazed. The colorful lights and white mist reflected in his eyes, leaving him in a trance.

He stared at the sea of mist cascading from the canopy and the colorful lights fluttering at the top, standing completely motionless as if paralyzed by some unseen force.
Only one thought echoed in his mind.

The mist continued to pour from the canopy, growing denser and thicker.

Namikaze Minato took a deep breath.

The Nine-Tails' chakra flames also fluttered in the mist, and it narrowed its eyes slightly.

Nagato reached out and caught a wisp of mist.
The mist lingered in his palm for a moment before dissipating.
He withdrew his hand and looked at Uchiha Taiga.
"It's a success."
His voice was calm, but his tone carried a sense of deep emotion.
Uchiha Taiga nodded and grinned.
"It's a success! I am a great inventor! Hahaha."
