Chapter 54: The Trio
Frenley checks himself out one last time, making sure the black suit fits his body perfectly. Black dress shoes. A silver watch on his left wrist. His long hair was nicely tied into a ponytail. Frenley fixes the suit one last time before walking out of his room. He grabs his keys from the counter and gets out of his apartment. He locks the door behind him as he walks out of the building. He made sure to text the girls to let them know he was going to pick them up. Risa replied with a quick “I am ready”, while Mia replied with a thumbs-up emoji.
With a soft smile on his face, Frenley got into his car and drove towards Risa's apartment, since it was the closest. After a quick drive, he parked his car in the visitor area of Risa's apartment. He got out of the car and made his way into the apartment building, calling for an elevator to his girlfriend's floor. He arrived at her apartment door and knocked. He heard Risa's soft voice, muffled by the door and wall, telling him to come in.
Fren did as she commanded, opening the door and entering the apartment.
“I will be there in a second, babe!” Mia shouted from what seemed to be her bathroom.
“It's all good, dear, take your time!”
Frenley looked around Risa's apartment, just like his apartment. The kitchen and eating area were close to the main entrance. The living room was a bit of a distance away. Risa had a glass sliding door that led to a small balcony. She had a semi-large TV, with a computer set up in the corner. Frenley closed the door behind him and walked towards Risa's computer. She had a small gaming setup, with a headset stand. The headset had plastic animal ears on top and a soft black-and-pink color combo. Frenley giggled softly as he heard the sound of a door opening.
Frenley turned around, and his breath got caught in his throat as Risa stepped out of her room. Her hair was tied up in a nice, cute bun, with strands sticking out at the front. The dress she was wearing was a black off-shoulder dress. But her shoulders weren't fully naked to the world; no, the dress covered them with a soft see-through material. The black dress hugged her figure nicely, ending just above her ankles. She wore black five-inch heels. Her nails were painted a soft white, and her lips were adorned with a warm red. She wore threader earrings. Her purse was a small black square that nicely completed her outfit.
The short woman did a small twirl, smiling widely at Frenley. A soft pink blush applied to her cheeks.
“What do you think?”
“Gosh damn it, darling, you are breathtaking. Are you sure you aren't a princess?”
“Haha, I am sure I am not, babe. But you are taking us to such a fancy place; I figure I need to go all out. Sure, you don't need help paying for it?”
“Absolutely not; I use a bit of my savings for it. Plus, I am very confident I will get that new position at my job. Plus, money comes and goes”
Frenley said with a soft shrug. He walked over to Risa, smiling wide as he got a small sniff of her soft perfume.
“How about me?” Frenley said, looking down at the girl.
“You look great, babe. But I do think you have outgrown the suit; you need something with softer colors to complement you.” She said as she fixed his suit, her hand softly patted his chest.
Frenley was about to open his mouth and say something, but stopped himself. A soft blush crept up his face. Risa raised an eyebrow at his reaction as she spoke.
“What? spit it out.”
“No, no, it's nothing. Don't worry about it,” Frenley said as he tried to regain his composure.
“Babe.”
Frenley looked into her eyes; silence consumed them. Frenley sighed as he rubbed his eyes.
“I was about to say, 'You would make a perfect wife.’”
Now it was Risa's turn to be red-faced, coughing a bit as she patted his chest. Frenley blushed even more, to the point it felt like he was sweating. The couple said nothing for a second, just letting the awkwardness settle. Risa patted his chest a third time, smiling with love and care as she spoke.
“And you will make a great husband. Now come on, we've got to pick up our wife.”
“Gosh, I should have said nothing... y'all are gonna tease me for this, aren't you?”
“Hahah, you bet! Just you wait till Mia hears about this.”
The couple left Risa's apartment. Frenley offered his arm to Risa and took her out of the apartment building to the spot where he parked his car. He opened the door for the girl, and once she was seated, he went over to the driver's seat. Once they had their seatbelt on, Frenley started to drive to Mia’s apartment. This one was a longer drive, but it only took around ten minutes. Frenley parked the car in the visitor area, got out of the car, and opened Risa's door. He offered his hand and helped the short girl out of the car.
The two of them walked towards the apartment building. They got on the elevator and went to Mia’s floor. The couple got out of the elevator once they arrived at their destination and walked towards Mia's apartment. Frenley knocked on the door, and he and Risa heard someone moving before the door was pulled open.
Mia stood in front of them, wearing a loose red button-down shirt. The sleeves went all the way down to her wrists. Her nails were painted red and nicely done. Her long hair was curled up, free-flowing behind her. Her lips were painted a deep red, a shade darker than Risa's. On her ears were a set of three hoop earrings, each of a different size. Her legs were covered by a long, loose, fancy pair of white pants. Her heels were small and open-toe. Her purse hung from her shoulder, a small red box, similar to Risa’s own.
The trio stared at each other in silence, taking in each other's beauty. Mia was the first to speak, leaning on the door frame.
“Well, today must be my birthday, because I am greeted by some lovely presents.”
“You look ravishing, babe; I cannot wait to eat you up,” Risa responded with a devilish smile.
“You look delishous, my dear foxy~” Mia said before turning to look at Frenley. “You look devilishly handsome, my love. Can't wait to take off all that wrapping and get to taste the candy beneath.”
“Ah- you look breathtaking, my dear. Now will you do me the honor of escorting you, my precious gemstone?” Frenley said with a soft smile on his face. He bowed down and offered her his free arm.
Mia giggled as she got out of her apartment and locked the door behind her. She took his arm and let him lead her out of the apartment building. The trio walked toward Frenley's car; he opened the back and passenger doors for both girls. Risa took shotgun, while Mia took the back seat. Frenley got into the driver's seat and drove the girls to the fancy restaurant where they would have dinner tonight.
“Mia, you want to hear something funny?” Risa said from the passenger seat, looking back at the tall woman.
“Oh no..” Frenley couldn't help but whisper about his impending doom.
“Oh oh! Tell me, sweetheart.” Mia said, putting her hands on the back of the front seats
“Frenley said I would make a great wife!”
“Oh Frenley! You sly dog! Already thinking of marriage, are we? We aren't even official yet.” Mia said with a soft laugh, causing the man to blush softly.
Mia laughed some more as she moved her hand to pat his shoulder as he drove.
“What about me, love? Am I a good wife material?”
“Yes, you are…” Frenley managed to get out before his face turned even redder.
Mia and Risa laughed at how red Frenley was. The drive to the restaurant continued with peaceful, cheerful conversations. Mainly the girls teasing Frenley. Frenley smiled at their combined teasing, even though it made his heart skip beats and his face as red as a tomato. Soon, the restaurant came into view; it was in the nice part of town. The walls were made of white marble; equally nicely dressed couples and families walked in and out of the restaurant. Frenley felt a bit self-conscious about his car not being as nice as the other people's.
But that was easily washed away when he remembered that none of them had two beautiful girlfriends with them. Frenley parked the car and got out, opening the doors for the girls. Once the girls were outside, each of them took one of his arms. He started to lead them to the restaurant. He felt like the king of the world with the girls by his side.
“Girls, what do you say to making things official?” Frenley spoke softly, but they didn't even respond before he heard their fingers tapping on their phones.
The girls put their phones in front of him; on their social media pages, he could see the phrase. “Dating Frenley and Mia/Risa.” Frenley chuckled softly as the girls put their phones away.
“Now you got to do the same for yours, love,” Mia said with a soft smile.
“Also, you have to take more photos and post them; the last picture you took was when you graduated!” Risa said, poking his side.
“I don't mind putting I am dating you two in my bio, but do I really have to post photos? That ain't really my thing,” Frenley said, laughing a bit as he felt Risa poke his side.
“Yes! We've got to make sure everyone knows you are ours.” Risa said from the side, with Mia nodding along.
Frenley shook his head. He arrived at the restaurant; he would have opened the door for the girls if his arms weren't occupied. But thankfully, the doors were opened by a man in a suit and tie. The group thanked the man as they walked towards the hostess. The woman looked at the group; if she was surprised by them, she didn't show it on her face. She smiled at them as Frenley said they had a reservation.
With a quick nod of her head, she took them to their table. The floor was pristine beneath them; he could hear people laughing, with the sound that comes from being born into riches. The woman showed them their table. A round table with three chairs. The table was covered in a soft, silky white mantle. Frenley took his arms away from the girls and pulled out the chairs for them. The hostess looked at the girls while Frenley did that. The three women shared a look and spoke without saying a word. Mia and Risa smiled at the hostess as she went away after telling them their waiter would be with them shortly.
The girls sat in their seats, letting Frenley push them in. Frenley sat down as he looked at the girls, a goofy smile on his face.
“You really outdone yourself with today's date, love. Why did you pick this place?” Mia said, looking at Frenley.
“Ah well, I felt like we had a lot of nice and comfy dates. I wanted to spoil you two with a place we would normally not go to at all. Plus I heard this place got some real good food.” Frenley said with a soft smile.
Risa raised an eyebrow and giggled to herself. She shook her head at his words. Soon, a male waiter came to them as he placed the menus in front of them. The male waiter stood by Frenley; they shared a look and a smile. Frenley fistbumped the man as the waiter left them to pick their order.
