Moon Guided Dreamers: A Horror Litrpg

Both of them found Mia leaning against a wall, looking out at the forest that surrounded them. The sound of someone walking caught her attention as she turned to look at them. She raised an eyebrow, worry circled through her at seeing them back so soon, and, of course, with no clear evidence that they had done anything.

“Y'all okay? Something happened?” She said, worried, as she stopped leaning on the broken wall.

“We are okay, but Risa heard some moaning voices beneath us and around us.”

“Moaning?” Mia asks while looking at them.

“In pain, so we're gonna explore it and make sure nothing is wrong. For that, we need our tank.”

Risa said as she walked over to Mia, hugging the woman's arm and looking up at her. Mia looked at her female lover and softly patted her head. Nodding her head as she readies her shield and hammer. Her armor and weapons are completely repaired, back to top shape.

“Lead the way.”

The kitsune smiled as she let go of Mia's arm and started to walk in front of them, leading them back to the spot where the voices became clear. Mia looked at the woman’s backside, and Frenley was doing much of the same.

“You know I can feel you guys staring, right?” Risa said, looking at them.

“Should we be hiding it? Pretty obvious we like your ass.”

“It is quite nice,” Frenley said, flexing his hand as he relived the memories of the round rear under his fingers.

Risa giggled softly as her ears started to twitch. She looked around, trying to find a way underground to the source of the sounds. The trio looked around, making sure not to separate themselves to much. Frenley looked behind a rather solid wall. He noticed nothing at first, but the way the grass was moving felt wrong.

“Girls, check this place out!”

Frenley said as he walked around the wall and looked closely at the grass, he touched it with his foot. But he didn't feel the solid ground beneath him. Frenley cut the grass with his sword, revealing an underground passage under it. By the time the girls arrived, Frenley was already halfway through cutting the grass. Mia joins him, pulling the grass of its roots and throwing it to the side.

It was only after the overgrown grass was removed that the passage revealed itself in all its glory, and they heard the moans of pain. Risa's ears twitched like crazy as she held her staff. Mia walks in first, followed by Frenley and Risa. The trio walked down the old, weathered stairs. The marking of something big and strong moving through this tight corridor was visible.

The group moves slowly, hands tight around their weapons. The smell and sound of suffering assaulted their senses as they got closer and closer to the source of the sound.

“By the moon.”

Mia said as she entered the large room. Frenley's eyes go wide as he enters the room, and Risa, behind him, fights the urge to vomit. The vile of her stomach threatens to crawl up her neck. The room in front of them could be described as a laboratory. Were the ingredients humans, and the product was something lost to the passage of time. In the middle of the room was a pit with prison bars above it. A yellow-and-orange fire brought life to the corpses in the pit.

Some of their faces pressed against the metal bar; they have done it for such a long time that their skin has taken in the rust of the bars. On the tables lay half-open bodies, organs scattered around the table.

From the ceiling of the room were human-sized cages. But what lay inside was anything less than human. Once, such a figure was covered in feathers. Horns growing out of its skin like tumors. A black liquid drips from the tip of the horns. Filling the cage and flowing out from the gaps of the metal bars. A small puddle of the liquid darkness lay beneath the cage.

Another creature was made of stone, dust leaving its open mouth at intervals. Frenley's eyes moved away from the grotesque figures; he looked to the side. Where a wooden door was broken apart, revealing something big.

“Girls, are you all okay?”

Frenley asks, but mostly focuses on Risa. Who had won her fight against her nausea. Her face was drained of all color, and her breathing was heavy and uneven. Her hands were tightly gripping her staff. Her knuckles were turning white at the strength behind her grip.

“I am okay…just need someone to hold me.”

“On it.”

Frenley said, grabbing her hand. The moment their skin touched, Risa visibly relaxed. Frenley looked at Mia.

“You want to explore that open door?” Mia said, already knowing what he was gonna say.

“Yes, dear.”

“Alright, let's go.”

The tall woman said as she fixed her shield and tightened her grip on her hammer. The trio walked softly towards the open door, giving the tables with the corpses a wide berth. As the smell of rotting flesh tries to assault their minds and overwhelm them. The trio soon reaches the open door, Mia peeks her head inside, her eyebrows shooting up as she tries to make sense of the scene. But nonetheless, she pointed with her head to signal that the place was clear.

The lovers enter the room. Risa let go of Frenley's hand, much to his disappointment. Risa walked deeper into the room, looking at all the strange symbols drawn into the walls and floor. Her eyes scan the many papers that were scattered around the room. Frenley couldn't make heads or tails of the symbols. But he focuses instead on a line, one drawn across the whole room. His eyes follow the line, drawing it in his head.

The three-dimensional figure started to take shape in his mind, and he frowned as he added the arcane symbols.

“A magic circle.”

“What?” The tall woman looked at her male lover as he spoke.

“This is a magic circle, drawn all over the walls. It takes a while to figure it out, but it is a circle. A circle drawn to encompass the whole room.”

“Babes over here.”

The kitsune's voice grabbed their attention as they walked towards her. She looked over her shoulder at the piece of paper she was holding. Her soft voice spoke words of great meaning.

“The sun lies. The moon is a heretic. The stars have forsaken us. Madness has taken the world.”

“Okay…”

Frenley said to himself as he waited for Risa to continue talking.

“With this ritual, we will be able to know the full knowledge of the sun. We should become greater than before, a giant. Primordial of fire.”

“So that was what they were.. a giant?”

Mia said, softly patting Risa's head. Causing the kitsune to yelp cutely. Risa let go of the piece of paper.

“I don't believe so. They did something wrong, and whatever they became was not a true giant.”

The kitsune said, standing up and looking at her lovers. Frenley looked at the other pieces of paper.

“We should read more of these papers; they can have information that will be useful for us.”

“Unless they have some bullshit written there like how much dick the maid of the lord takes every night.”

Risa chuckled at Mia’s joke. The trio started looking at the papers, spending minutes reading the notes written by mages lost in the palace of their own mind. After learning as much as they could, they even took some of the papers to reread. The party continues to explore the underground structure. As they explored the room, Mia's surprise voice caught them off guard.

“Well, come to mama!”

Risa and Frenley walked over to one of the rooms, where they found Mia holding a crude map. She showed them the map, and the moment she did, something appeared in their minds. They could easily pinpoint where they were; special locations were highlighted in their mind.

“A map! This is great, babe!”

Risa said, walking over to Mia and hugging her tightly. Mia hugged the kitsune softly, smiling widely as she looked at Frenley. The man smiles at her, walking over and planting a soft kiss on her cheek.

“Great job, darling.”

“Um~ love this feeling!” Mia said with a large smile on her face.

“Was this the last room, babe?” The kitsune spoke, her head between Mia's tits.

“Yes, it is dear, so let's get out of here and talk about what we found.”

“Sounds good to me!”

Mia said as she walked out of the room with Risa in her arms. The trio walked out of the underground structure. But they didn't stay close to it as they walked far away from it. Thankfully, they found a nearby clean area to sit and talk. Where their eyes can rest easily from the sight of the dead boss, and their ears don't have to be polluted by the moans of pain and suffering.

“Alright, I will start.” The fey words brought attention to him.

“So these people seem to believe that the sun is a lie. Now they mean the actual sun in the sky. Not the Sun King, in writing, they always capitalize him. It all seemed to have started years ago. People waking up with strange dreams and knowledge they should not have. It also seems like immortality was not the cause of their madness, as we suspected. In fact, immortality has always been a thing in this world, but I don't trust that”

“Well, I found nothing of real importance. Other than the mentions of something called the Black Pick Rebellion. It seems the inmates and slaves launch an attack against Black Stone Fort. But lost, their forces scatter, and the city is placed under martial law.” Mia said, leaning against a wall.

“I learn more about the Moon Queen. She and the Sun King are married. But ever since the sun changed, she left with the Capital city. Making it float away from the mortal world, a lot of people curse her for leaving them behind and forcing them to deal with the madness alone.” Risa said as she took out some papers from between her breasts.

“Interesting..” Frenley said, chewing on the information they had gathered. After a few seconds of silence. He sighs, having more questions than answers.

“Gosh, I wish the rule book focused a bit more on the lore! None of the information written there is useful.

“It's all good, love, we can find more and more information as we go,” Mia said to Frenley.

“Yeah, babe, no need to have all the answers now.”

“Sigh.. you're all right. Well, since we are done with this, Risa, come here.”

“Ah, you guys gonna start? Well, excuse me then, I will be a bit of a distance away. Enjoy your time, loves.”

Frenley blew a kiss to the tall woman once she started to move. She patted Risa's head, earning herself another yelp. Frenley watched Mia walk away. Once she was out of view, he focused his eyes on Risa. The kitsune was crawling towards him. Her tail swung side to side, her eyes shining like stars as she looked at him.

“I am ready, babe.”

“Perfect, come here, my loveable fox, I've been having the urge to taste you for quite a while. That video and the video call made me quite hungry for you.”

“Um~ I am happy to hear that, babe. Hope you are fine with this body and not my real one.”

“Nonsense, you are perfect in any form for my darling.”

Risa's hands touched his thighs as Frenley started to undo his robes and armor. He knew he could just take it off and put it in his inventory without even trying. But he would rather not have his ass touch the ground. Risa started to do the same, under the pale watch of the moon. Risa looked at him as she spoke.

“Gosh, you are big!”
