Mei Li (nee Wu) - 23 years. Birthday, Nov 11, 1971. Alex's mother. A kind, hard-working, and devoted woman. But she's still adjusting to being both a wife and a mother, often leading her to unintentionally neglect Alex.
Wang Li - 25 years. Birthday, Nov 4, 1969. Alex's father. Stern and hard-working, he believes enough effort will resolve any situation. However, because of this, he neglects his family a bit.

Debby Blumgren - 26 years. Single. Teaches First Grade. Recent college grad. Surprisingly understanding of Alex's 'genius'.
