Why Is This Omega Stalking Me…?

Chapter 57: Let Me In

Chapter 57

.

.

Shen Yu was sitting on the small white couch, staring silently at the TV. The screen flickered with changing scenes, voices overlapping, colors shifting, but none of it registered in his mind. He was watching, yet he didn’t know what the hell was happening. Jiang Li had gone to shower about twenty minutes ago, leaving Shen Yu alone in the quiet living room, where even the ticking of the clock felt louder than usual.

The series of events replayed in his mind like an endless mantra, looping again and again without pause, refusing to settle. Every word, every expression, every moment from earlier lingered, making it impossible for him to think clearly. He sighed, dragging his hands over his face before letting out another heavier breath, his fingers pressing briefly against his eyes as if that could erase the thoughts.

He couldn’t believe what he had done... how could he forgive him so easily?

When the omega wasn’t around, Shen Yu knew the truth—his heart hadn’t healed, and he hadn’t fully forgiven Jiang Li. The hurt was still there, buried somewhere beneath the surface, raw and unresolved. But every time he looked into those honey-brown eyes, reason seemed to slip through his fingers like sand, impossible to hold onto.

And the anger he had been clinging to so tightly melted away slowly, like ice under the warmth of a summer morning, leaving nothing but a dull, confusing ache behind.

Shen Yu closed his eyes and leaned back against the couch, his head tilting slightly as he tried to steady his thoughts, to ground himself in something real. The quiet wrapped around him, almost suffocating in its stillness.

Then suddenly, a loud crashing sound shattered the silence, echoing sharply from down the hall, followed immediately by Jiang Li’s scream.

His eyes snapped open.

Without thinking, Shen Yu shot to his feet, panic flashing across his face as his body reacted faster than his mind. He rushed toward the sound, his heartbeat quickening with each step.

"Jiang Li!" he shouted, his voice sharp with urgency as he slammed the bathroom door open.

Jiang Li screamed again at the sudden intrusion, startled by both the noise and Shen Yu’s presence. He quickly grabbed a small towel to cover his lower body, his movements rushed and uncoordinated. Bottles of skincare products were scattered across the floor, some still rolling slightly from where they had fallen. He must have knocked them over without realizing it, his elbow brushing against them and causing the loud crash.

His chest rose and fell rapidly, his breathing uneven, his body tense. The lingering fear from the recent stalker incident still clung to him, sitting heavily in the back of his mind, making him react more strongly than he normally would.

Shen Yu’s gaze dropped—and froze.

Jiang Li stood there, completely exposed except for the small towel wrapped loosely around his waist. It barely reached his mid-thighs, doing little to hide the pale, smooth skin that seemed to glow softly under the bathroom lights. Water droplets clung to his body, trailing slowly downward, catching the light in a way that made everything feel too vivid.

For a moment, Shen Yu couldn’t look away.

His eyes traced the damp strands of blond-black hair clinging to Jiang Li’s neck, the faint flush spreading across his skin, the subtle rise and fall of his chest as he struggled to calm his breathing. Every small detail pulled Shen Yu in deeper before he even realized what he was doing.

Then realization hit him all at once.

Shen Yu abruptly turned away, facing the door as if the act itself would break whatever hold the sight had on him.

"I’m sorry..." he muttered, his voice rougher than before, his jaw clenched tightly as tension settled into his muscles.

His dark eyes deepened, something unreadable flickering beneath the surface.

"Are you okay?" he asked, his tone steadier, though it still carried an edge.

Jiang Li nodded, letting out a small hum in response. His face was flushed, not only from the warm water but from the intensity of Shen Yu’s gaze. Just thinking about it made a shiver run down his spine, subtle but impossible to ignore.

Then he felt something slide down his neck.

No—his gland.

Frowning slightly, he reached up and touched it, only for his fingers to come away holding the gland patch.

His eyes widened.

Almost instantly, the soft scent of winter rose filled the small bathroom, delicate yet unmistakable, spreading through the air in slow waves.

Shen Yu, who had been about to leave, suddenly froze in place.

His hands clenched into fists at his sides, the muscles in his arms tightening as something shifted within him.

Seconds passed in heavy silence, the air growing thicker with each passing moment.

"Shen... Yu," Jiang Li called softly, uncertainty threading through his voice.

Slowly, Shen Yu turned back.

Jiang Li’s breath caught in his throat.

Those weren’t his usual dark eyes.

They were purple.

Deep, intense, and glowing faintly in a way that sent unease creeping through Jiang Li’s chest. They looked exactly like they had that night... just like the picture Taehyun had shown him.

Jiang Li instinctively stepped back, his hands trembling so badly that the towel slipped down from his waist, the fabric loosening without him noticing.

Before it could fall completely, Shen Yu was already in front of him.

Strong, warm hands wrapped around Jiang Li’s waist, pulling him close with firm, unyielding strength. The fabric of Shen Yu’s turtleneck brushed against Jiang Li’s bare skin, the contrast sending a faint shiver through him as the Alpha buried his face near his neck.

Jiang Li felt his breath—warm, uneven, and heavy—against the sensitive skin near his gland.

A shiver ran through him, stronger this time, his lips parting slightly without his control.

"Shen Yu..." he warned softly, his voice unsteady, barely above a whisper. He didn’t want another argument. He didn’t want things to spiral out of control again.

He pushed weakly against Shen Yu’s shoulders, his hands lacking strength.

But the Alpha didn’t move.

If anything, his grip tightened, pulling Jiang Li even closer.

"God... you smell so good, omega."

At that word, Jiang Li’s body reacted instantly, betraying him. His eyes became half-lidded, his breath catching as warmth spread through him.

It felt... right.

Too right.

His hands slowly gripped Shen Yu’s shoulders as the Alpha began pressing soft kisses against his neck. At first, they were faint, almost hesitant, but they quickly deepened, growing more intense, more consuming with each passing second.

Jiang Li’s knees weakened.

Shen Yu’s pheromones wrapped around him, thick and intoxicating—whiskey and rosewood, heavy and overwhelming, sinking into his senses until it was impossible to think clearly.

It made his head spin.

He felt drunk.

Not just from the scent, but from the way Shen Yu touched him, held him, claimed his space so completely that there was no room left for anything else.

A soft cry escaped his lips as his head fell back, exposing more of his neck. His breathing became uneven, his chest rising and falling rapidly as he opened his eyes—

And froze.

His vision blurred for a moment before focusing again.

His eyes.

They weren’t honey-brown anymore.

They were pink, swirling faintly with purple, unnatural and unfamiliar.

His heart began to race even faster, each beat louder than the last.

What... was happening?

Before he could think any further, Shen Yu lifted him effortlessly and set him on the sink. The cold surface made him flinch slightly, the chill a sharp contrast to the heat building in his body, but the sensation barely registered as Shen Yu continued his relentless attention on his skin.

Jiang Li trembled, his body reacting uncontrollably, caught between confusion and sensation, his thoughts scattering.

"Shen Yu!" he cried out, louder this time, his voice breaking slightly.

That seemed to reach him.

Shen Yu paused.

Slowly, he lifted his head, those intense purple eyes locking onto Jiang Li’s.

His hands caged Jiang Li in, bracing against the sink on either side of him as he leaned closer, his presence overwhelming.

"What’s wrong?" he asked, his voice deeper, rougher than usual. "Am I hurting my omega?"

That voice...

It didn’t sound like Shen Yu.

Not entirely.

A sudden memory surfaced in Jiang Li’s mind—Luo Xin’s words echoing clearly.

We sometimes lose control when faced with omega pheromones... but our Alphas don’t.

Jiang Li’s breath hitched.

His eyes stung slightly, a burning pressure building, but he refused to let the tears fall.

If that was true...

Then right now—

He wasn’t speaking to Shen Yu.

He was facing his Alpha.

Jiang Li shook his head slowly, forcing a small, fragile smile onto his lips despite everything.

"I’ve never been better..." he whispered, his voice soft, almost trembling.

He leaned forward, closing the distance between them, pressing his lips against Shen Yu’s. His arms wrapped around the Alpha’s neck, pulling him closer, as if afraid he might disappear.

His heart pounded violently against his chest, fast and uneven, almost painful.

He wanted to be closer.

Closer.

He didn’t even realize when his legs wrapped around Shen Yu’s waist, holding him there as their kiss deepened. Time seemed to blur, stretching endlessly as Jiang Li lost himself in the moment, everything else fading away.

Breathless, he pulled back slightly and bit Shen Yu’s lip—not enough to draw blood, but enough to ground himself, to remind himself that this was real.

They stared at each other, both breathing heavily, the air between them thick and charged with something neither of them could fully understand.

The bathroom felt smaller, the space closing in around them as if the world outside had ceased to exist. Every sound, every breath, every movement seemed amplified, echoing in the confined space.

Then—

Shen Yu grinned.

"Let me in..." he murmured, his voice low and intent.

Jiang Li blinked in confusion at first, his mind slow to catch up.

It took a moment for the meaning to settle in.

When it did, his eyes widened slightly.

He was about to nod, completely breathless, his thoughts scattered—

When it hit him.

He was a pregnant omega!

.

.

A/ N : Shen Yu is still a new Alpha, and his gland is very sensitive. His self-control isn’t the same as it was when he was a Beta.

I hope you guys understand. \(^o^)/
