Chapter 114 – Ambush in the Hemlock Room (Part 1)
On the fifth evening after he imprisoned Vivian, Linhart called for the Incursion Team to meet in front of the Spire. This was the day that she was supposed to bring a boy Fighter to be used and drained by the Boob Corps. But Vivian wasn’t going to make it there tonight, making this their best chance to apprehend one of the women who moved back and forth through the portal.
He was hoping for Periclum, the highest ranked of the three, but either Bridi or Wilda would also be able to get them through to the other side of the portal.
As the evening drew closer, he cast about nervously, joking with the girls and practicing his grappling forms. Forcing himself to act like it was a normal day, he felt alone in his knowledge of what waited them in the Spire. Not only were they rescuing the Fighters from a hellish experience, they were making a bold strike against the Wizard Army. The last time he had done that, had ended with him dying and becoming a Mnemon. He hoped that this one ended better.
He ate his end of day meal with the two members of his squad. Nyx and Blythe. Seated on a bench, sandwiched between the two girls, he couldn’t help but admire their figures.
He and these two girls had spent a great deal of time over the past week training together. Having spent every day together, he had grown closer to these two than any other girls this loop.
“You’re checking me out again,” Nyx said flatly.
“Don’t flatter yourself, he looks at me with those same eyes,” Blythe said back.
Linhart had promised to have sex with both of them, once the mission was completed. He hadn’t realized at the time what a strong motivator that would be. The two girls had completely devoted themselves to the incursion.
“I was. Both of you. You’ve gotten hard…”
His hand wandered down Nyx’s stomach. He felt her muscles flex under his touch. Thin, wiry strength and chiseled abs.
“But you’re still so soft in all the right places.”
His other hand slid under Blythe’s blue bikini top and squeezed her left titty hard. The girl let out a moan. EVen after days of training, she was still weak to his touch.
The food was simple. Fish and Bread. A suitable meal for what could be the last meal they eat together. There was a non-zero chance that any member of the Incursion Team would die that evening.
“This feels somewhat like our Last Meal,” he said, dropping his hands and digging in. The two girls joined him, but looked suspiciously from both sides.
“What do you mean? That we will become heroes tonight?”
“No, he means that we might not live to see another meal. RIght, boss?”
Linhart nodded at Blythe. Then, between bites, he finally managed to work up the nerve to ask them the question that had been living inside his head for the past week.
“If I asked you to kill me… could you do it?”
Blythe and Nyx both looked at him unblinkingly.
“Boss, what are you saying?”
“I mean, if something goes wrong. If we’re cornered and we can’t escape. I need someone to make sure I don’t live to get captured. Could you kill me?”
“...You’re talking like a Striker now,” Nyx scoffed. Her eyes burned with something akin to anger.
Blythe remained silent. Thoughtful.
“I abandoned killing when I stopped being a Striker. That was what drew me to the life of a Fighter. Energy pistols and submission holds. No need to water the ground with blood… Now you ask me this?”
Blythe put her arm around Linhart protectively, and glared at Nyx.
“He just asked if you could do it. No one is going to make you kill again,” she said, her voice hard as nails. Then, holding Linhart closer, she added, “I’ll do it, but only if all hope is gone. Killing a boy like you needlessly would doom me to a life of regret.”
Nyx leaned in, still hot with anger, but she still put her hands around him and held him just as close as Blythe was.
“I can’t say the same. But I will die protecting you, if need be.”
He sat, the heat of their two bodies pressing against him, and sighed. Despite the fact that two sext girls were holding him tight, comforting and needy, he felt disturbed.
“I guess that’ll have to do. Thank you, both of you.”
Perhaps he should’ve recruited Chloe to the Team. She could’ve chosen the ‘Natural Weapon’ skill once more. Chloe was the only girl in his orbit that he knew was capable of killing him. Next loop, he would bring the twins with him instead, though there may not be a next loop.
If all went well, he could still visit them after they finish at the Spire, as he had every night for the past five nights.
“It’s starting to grow dark. Let’s finish up the meal and go meet up with the others.”
The girls didn’t speak much after that. Neither did he. All three of them were pensive, lost in their own thoughts. It wasn’t until the Spire came into view, silhouetted by the fading light of the evening sky, they felt the thrill of the upcoming Fight rise up again.
They were about to enter the next phase in their mission.
* * * * * * * * *
Three dark figures were waiting in the dim light of the Spire’s entranceway. Altheia, Helen, and Ami. The seniors were dressed in full battle gear.
Altheia wore a full set of heavy armor. The only gear that would do her titanic build any justice. Her breastplate hung open and her helmet was under her arm, showing off her sizable boobs and hatchet-like face.
“Evening, boss,” she nodded as he approached. She’d started calling him that ever since she heard her sister using the term. “We’re about five minutes from mission launch.”
Helen was in a set of light armor, a sight that he never got tired of. Her long legs were bare all the way to the hips. Her breastplate was fitted to her impressive chest. Her long, straw-colored hair fell down her back from under her helmet, making her look like some warrior goddess.
“Do we have to wait? Can we just go already?”
Ami was looking sullen in her flexigear.
“Not until the freshmen suit up. I still don’t understand why I couldn’t wear my light armor for this.”
The coal gray, form-fitting material was sexy as hell, but she was not happy about having to wear it on the mission. Reaching into her side bag, she tossed a similar outfit to him and the two girls.
“Manuevrability,” Linhart said simply, catching the suit out of the air. “You’re the fastest Fighter out of all of us. You fight better in flexigear than armor any day.”
“I guess so… it just feels too much like boy’s armor.”
Flexigear, being skin-tight, required that they wear nothing underneath so, before putting it on, he stripped down to nakedness. Linhart didn’t shy away from changing in front of the girls right there. They seemed much more affected by it.
“A boy is changing,” Altheia said gruffly to the other seniors. She was distributing active blastguns from a case she’d been carrying, carefully not making eye contact with him or his pale body. “Look away you creeps.”
“No way,” Helen replied, leaning in to get a closer look. A wide smile formed on her face. “This may be my last chance to see the boss’s dick.”
“You’re such a perv…” Ami responded, though she was also watching intently. Her hand traveled up her own body subconsciously.
Minutes later, the six of them were fully-prepared. Fully armored with blastguns powered up and ready, the team entered the Spire.
Linhart, as the only member of the team who had been inside the enigmatic mage tower before, led the way. Altheia and Helen flanked him protectively, and the three girls in flexigear followed close behind.
When they arrived at the elevator, he felt a doubt that had been weighing on his mind all week welling up. What if Vivian had someone tricked them? What if she hadn’t really invited them to the room where she took the boys that she kidnapped to be processed?
All their effort would be wasted if they couldn’t get into that room tonight.
Instead of giving voice to his doubts, he stood in the center and said, “Try to fly quietly and land with minimal noise. Do as I do and follow me one by one.”
With one hand holding his blastgun and the other hand raised high in the air to cut the wind like an arrow, he intoned the destination loudly.
“Hemlock!”
It worked. Linhart felt his heart soar, as he rocketed up through the first few hundreds of feet before stopping at the nondescript hall that curved just enough so that the room at the other end was out of view. That was lucky for them.
Altheia arrived seconds behind him. Her massive form touched down with a thud. Her eyes were alert, obviously surprised by the way mages got around, but ready for a fight.
Helen, Ami, Nyx, and Blythe.
Each girl arrived without a word. The small sounds of feet touching down on the hard floor seemed to echo too loud down the hall. Were the mages already there? Were they aware that six people were entering the room?
Vivian had indicated that she was the sole owner of the room, but the gods only knew if there were other runes or spells in place. Added security by the paranoid Periclum.
Linhart gestured down the hall. This time Altheia took point position, while he and Helen squeezed in behind her. The hall was smaller than that of Celes, barely able to fit two people walking side by side.
Helen’s shoulder guard bumped against him, forcing him into a wall. He reacted, grabbing for her to catch his balance, his hand closed on her shapely ass. He said a prayer of thanks to whoever designed the female armor, holding on for a few seconds longer than was necessary.
“Now, I’ve got you…” Helen whispered in his ear.
She had her arm around him. Her own well-armored hand was kneading his ass vigorously.
It was just so strange, having this tall blond rubbing him while they quietly stepped down the hall. The turn gave way to a familiar room. A room that Linhart had spent many long tortuous days in.
The sight and smells were coming back to him. And with Helen’s hand clasping his butt, his head spun into a sick feeling of nostalgia. He was back here. They were going to make him into a sex slave again.
Altheia was in the room already, and Helen pulled him along as well, with the others clamoring in behind him. No escape. It came as no surprise when he saw two familiar faces were already there.
Two smiling, scarecrow faces.
“Well, well,” Wilda said in her harsh witchy voice, “It looks like the girl was telling the truth. Six Fighters have come to us, uninvited…”
“How very rude of them…” added Bridi carefully. Linhart saw the fear in her eyes, but she wasn’t surprised.
“Linhart, are these the mages?”
“Yes, but only two of them,” he said, then looked around and added, “Their leader should’ve been here as well, I thought.”
Immediately to their right, stood the dark portal. He’d never seen it this close before. Pushing by Helen, he inspected it closely. Something he’d longed to do so many times before.
The blackness wasn’t as uniform as he’d suspected. It had swirls of dark and darker lines, which were slowly whirling around. The center of the swirl crackled and sparked with strange energy.
Is this ‘electricity?’
One of the scarecrows began to say something. A warning to get away from the portal, but it came too late.
A burst of energy hit his face, burning him like an open flame and blinding him for a second. At the same time, he could hear chaos erupt around him.
Someone, tall and feminine, with huge boobs, came dashing through the portal. Someone caught him from behind as he was falling to the floor. There were more voices now, more women forcing their way into the narrow room.
Boob soldiers! A lot of them!
