Dungeon Miner Slave

DMS Chapter 134

DMS Chapter 134

The twenty Earthlings that was gathered on the first floor huddled together as if they were all extremely afraid. Flinx asked Olivia and her brothers to go to their rooms so he could have privacy with his countrymen.

Even though Olivia, her two brothers, and the four children, David, Arcios, Keero, and Violet, were incredibly curious while the twenty supposed Flinx’s countrymen behaved like women who were victims of assaults, they obeyed Flinx’s request for privacy. Christopher even paused his cooking and followed his sister upstairs.

Flinx remembered how he behaved the moment he was teleported to this new world. How he huddled beneath a tree, naked and afraid, for hours.

He then started telling them of how he escaped the Torbal Slavers. It took him a couple of hours to explain everything that had happened to him, including his reasoning why he didn’t inform anyone through the forums that they all had access to that he was in another world and had managed to escape.

He told them that he tried his best to level up his Wizard Class since the requirement to be able to return to the world of the Wizard Enslavers was level fifteen, and it took him several months to achieve that level. Even though Flinx had tried his best, he admitted to everyone that he blamed himself for not moving quickly enough, which resulted in not able to save everyone.

“I’m sorry, what level did you reach again the moment you were teleported to this world?” One of the men asked.

“I reached level seven in my Wizard class and had been a dungeon miner slave for more than two years. Why do you ask?”

“I’ve been a slave for eight years, but my Druid Class is only level four!” The man who asked said.

“I’ve been a slave for three years, and my Wizard Class is only level three!” Another man said.

Everyone then stated the level of their classes, and the highest among them was level four, and he was the druid who had been a slave for eight years.

Flinx theorized with them, and the only conclusion they all came up with was that his transfer to this world was affected by the Gate that he used. The Gate was supposedly a secret high-end project that one of the most powerful Torbal Slaver wizards was doing. Unfortunately, or fortunately, that wizard was killed by those religious fanatics who attacked the original headquarters of the Torbal Slavers.

Flinx talked more about his experiences after arriving in this world. He admitted to everyone that his knowledge was sorely lacking. He had even forgotten the name that the local was using for this world. The only excuse he could give his fellow Earthlings was that he was solely focused on leveling up so he could rescue them as soon as possible.

Since, like Flinx, everyone managed to save a lot of low-level stones in their inventory, the twenty Earthlings spent some of their mana stones to purchase clothes from their system shopping site and wore them after cleaning themselves using the spell Prestidigitation that most of the Earthlings had.

After everyone had changed their clothes, Flinx continued telling them of everything he had learned, including the second class that he now wields, which was the Cleric Class. He told them that when he reached level ten, he was granted the ability to dual-class by their system.

“Our system, although based on that tabletop game, is really different!” One of the men said, and everyone agreed.

Most of them were knowledgeable about the fantasy role-playing tabletop game since they all had access to the internet and used their downtime to learn about the game, which their transmigration system was supposed to be based on.

“I’m hungry!” One of them suddenly said.

A flurry of activity occurred wherein food from different food franchises from Earth suddenly appeared. Basically, everyone purchased whatever they wanted. Unlike Flinx, who was frugal upon arriving in this world, everyone spent whatever they wanted, especially when Flinx told them how easy it was to earn mana stones from dungeons.

While they were eating, everyone introduced themselves, which was peculiar since their introduction meant stating their name and the last username they used in the forums. That made them laugh a little since most of the usernames were highly inappropriate.

Some of them, upon learning who each other were based on the usernames they were using, found out that they were somewhat the best of friends, so they grouped immediately.

Flinx found it funny that some of them told him that his name, “Flinx,” was peculiar. He had to explain to them where the name came from, which he had been doing for most of his life back on Earth.

He found that the twenty men that he had rescued seemed to be able to adjust faster than he was able to when he was recently transferred to this world. Flinx attributed it to the fact that there were twenty-one of them in the group, including himself, so everyone didn’t feel alone.

After they were done eating, it was time for planning. Some of the men concluded that more than likely, the rate of gaining experience to level up their classes would be different from the rate Flinx was able to receive. They all thought that it was the side effect of the “Gate” that Flinx used to transfer to this world.

Still, everyone wanted to level up their classes as fast as they could so they could all return to the world of the Torbal Slavers and hunt them down all down till they were all annihilated. Then their next goal was to reach level twenty so they could return to Earth.

Flinx told them that since he used the Wish spell, he wouldn’t be able to function at his maximum power for two months. That meant that his rate of earning experience would be slowed down.

In truth, his fellow didn’t care so much about that because everyone’s goal was related to themselves reaching their desired level.

Flinx started telling them about all the discoveries that he had learned regarding their transmigration system, like the major differences that he had found compared to the original fantasy tabletop game. Even those who were expert in the game, which Flinx wasn’t, admitted that the changes that he had discovered were for their benefit and there was no disadvantage at all.

Since his fellow Earthlings' levels were low, Flinx advised them to start purchasing the spells they would need to be able to hunt monsters inside the dungeon with ease.

Flinx then told them about the Dungeon of Mara and that, currently, he felt that it was the best dungeon that everyone could use to level up, simply because a floor could be completed within a day.

He told them his leveling process, and his fellow Earthlings were intrigued by the fact that Flinx managed to make his dungeon delving seem like going to some sort of office work during the day and returning home by night.

Everyone agreed that the Dungeon of Mara was the best one they could use compared to a dungeon that they needed to explore for three or four days at a time.

They all agreed, though, that before committing themselves to dungeon delving, it would be best for everyone to adjust themselves first. Their experiences were harrowing, and it wouldn’t be healthy to dive back to work immediately.

Flinx told them that the main reason why he was able to adjust his mental balance quickly was simply due to the fact that after he was transferred to this world, he stayed in a calm church that was occupied by an old priest and a few old servants. He then took the time to learn the local language by learning from the priest, and he paid for his lessons and stay using salt that he purchased from their system shopping site.
