Chapter 38: Ko-chan’s New Power (4)
"Was this necessary? Extreme expenditure. Financial damage severe." Naruyo smiled bitterly next to Matsuko as she wiped her face with a cloth.
"...It was necessary to me. If she gets attacked again I can't be sure I'd be there in time to save her. At least this way she will have some protection. Glacial Flamesilk is our specialty, one of the strongest fabrics in the outside world." Matsuko was sweating profusely on the couch. As soon as Kogamo left the room, her confident facade shattered and she fell lifelessly to the couch.
"That Flame Tape. Enough to capture hundreds. All used for Ko-chan." Naruyo kept admonishing her.
"Ha..ha.. Is it wrong to want the best for your loved ones? I'll recover in time, but I'd never forgive myself if something happened. I made it look like I was just tying her up tighter, but it will unravel and become a shield if there is a threat to her life." Matsuko tried to justify her over exertion.
Naruyo sighed "Good to be in love. Still take care of yourself too." She rubbed Matsuko's shoulders and smiled kindly.
Matsuko smiled "How do you think Hinari will take my little gift? Whether it is the laws, Glacial Flamesilk, or Flame Tape, none of them are at a level she can deal with with her current power. I wonder, will she crumple into a ball of self loathing? Or become motivated to grow stronger?
Naruyo looked up towards the second floor. "Confident. She will overcome. You won't leave her behind."
Matsuko sighed heavily. "Well, I'm going to take a nap now. Deal with the rest won't you?"
Naruyo sighed again. "My duty. I will execute."

It happened again. As I was laying on my bed, my mind started to wander back to all the ways I could not overcome my limitations. This time, I imagined being able to shout at the girls who were picking me up, tell Matsuko what I was thinking during the 'trial', or tell my problems to Hinari without us both getting in trouble. I felt guilty for causing Hinari such anguish just for trying to help me. These thoughts swirled around as the scenes of my helplessness slowly morphed into scenes of my own design. Again, right before I felt like I could understand everything, my dreams faded away and I awoke to a new day.
I saw Hinari as we were going out to get in the car, and instead of the confident and lively Hinari I was used to seeing, I saw a depressed and lethargic Hinari, who was crossing her arms and whose legs were trembling. I desperately wanted to help, but all I could do was lean up against her and rub my head on her side.
"Ko-chan..good morning." She sounded tired, but she still put on a smiling face for me. I didn't even bother trying to fight it and just immediately sat down in my car seat and awaited assistance.
"Even Ko-chan is fighting hard, why not give it a try?" Matsuko smiled at Hinari as a form of encouragement.
"Hmm..." Hinari just made a noise and brushed it off. She pressed her thighs together once she got in the car and closed her eyes to meditate.

"Hey, did you notice? Ko-chan's uniform changed again."
"It's getting even more extreme lately."
"Before, she couldn't speak, but now she REALLY can't speak!"
"I think it looks cute."
"Agree. If you pick her up, she can't even shake her head at you anymore, her slight movements are so cute~"
"He he, she can't resist my headpats now!"
"Remember the Night of Slaughter. We have to control ourselves."
"Ugh.. I don't want to remember, I couldn't sit properly for a week."
"Shoutouts to the two rebels, heroes the cause" *attached are pictures of the two girls who ended up stripped and bound*
"Hey, when are you going to delete those pictures already? I didn't get untied until the third night!"
"The Holy Martyr appears!"
"I bow to your dedication"
"Bow x2"
"Bow x3"

As with last time.. Being more strictly restrained made it harder to deal with the fans. Now, my neck's movement was harder, so I couldn't resist as much as I could even just before my costume was changed. As long as someone had her hands on my shoulders, there was no way for me to get off of the chair or desk I was sitting on, and all I could do was sit there and listen to how great and cute I was until my brain overloaded.
The higher level of vibrator of my crotch and nipples complicated this even more, because I couldn't cool off after escaping from a play session. If I wasn't able to hide and was caught four or five times in a row, the pleasure would build up until I couldn't hold out at all and became the crowning jewel achievement of the fanclub members.
I couldn't really complain as much as before because it was my own inadequacies that made it so that simple compliments were so effective at making it hard for me to think.
By the end of the week, four members of the fan club had already claimed ultimate glory, causing Ko-chan to orgasm just from telling her how cute she was.

I flopped onto my bed, utterly exhausted. I had already had two orgasms today, and my body was crying for sleep. I didn't even get under the covers, and just laid out flat on my back. The same dreams appeared once again as soon as I closed my eyes, but this time, instead of faint recollections of prior events that were like watching a movie, I felt completely immersed.
I don't know how, but I was back in my bed the first night of the dorm, naked and embarrassed after my loss to Matsuko. I struggled with the ropes but nothing seemed to help. I cried out for someone to help, but no one was coming. Suddenly, I was on the ground leashed, and a malicious shopkeeper looked down at me with an evil grin. "So, how do you plan to pay your debt? Should I sell your body to repay it?" I tried to back away but she yanked me closer. "Do you think you can escape?" "N-no, please, anyone..."
She pulled up on my leash, but in that instant she became a student, holding me in the air while another student roughly groped my body. I couldn't open my mouth, but I screamed out in my mind "Matsuko...where are you?" I kicked out with my leg and hit something, causing the girl to drop me to the ground.
The impact knocked the air from my lungs, but before I could catch my breath I realized I couldn't move. I couldn't see, breathe, think, or struggle. Vibrators were shattering my mind with waves of pleasure and the crushing despair of knowing that no one would save me was destroying what was left. All I could do was wish in my mind "My Lady, please.. save me" over and over.
For what seemed like forever I did nothing but wish to be saved, hoping for that silhouette to appear in my vision once again, to save me just like always.

Matsuko was having a different sort of dream, one she started having more often lately. In her dream, she would do everything right, but still, in the end, something would happen and she would lose the one she loved. This night was no different. She was in the school at night, alone, but she was frantically searching. Every few seconds she would hear a familiar cry, "My Lady, please.. save me..." It was so sad and desperate that it was driving her insane, but no matter how she ran around the school, she never seemed to get any closer to the voice.
After what seemed like an eternity of searching, she finally bashed down the doors and left the school, but she could still hear the voice. In fact, it seemed like it was coming from beyond the sky. What? Beyond the sky? In a dream? A dream? She suddenly became aware of her dream state and shattered the building with an explosion of fire. The dream state couldn't withstand the impact and she found herself in her bed lying awake.
But the voice didn't stop. Just as sad, just as desperate, it was crying out for help. Wait? Why is Ko-chan crying out for help in the dorm? An attack for real this time?
Matsuko flared her magic to the limits which destroyed her bed and awoke the other girls in an instant. Naruyo was the first to break through her door, weapons already drawn.
"Find Ko-chan. She needs help. Follow the voice." Matsuko said the second Naruyo entered the room.
"Voice? No voice. Dead silent before your attack." Naruyo stated matter-of-factly.
"That's impossible. She's crying out right now. Follow me." Matsuko sprinted out of the room in a flash and slammed Kogamo's door open. On the bed lay Kogamo, curled into a ball and wreathed in black glowing magic circles. Volatile magic crackled around the bed, and Matsuko could hear the voice louder than ever in her head.
"Spirit awakening. She's in danger." Naruyo put her daggers away but activated the magic inside her body.
"Use the Eternal Ice Elixir. You won't have enough magic to assist me otherwise." Matsuko looked grim as she saw the magic growing more violent.
Naruyo nodded and a small bottle appeared in her hand. She downed it in one go and her body was instantly encrusted in ice. She jumped to the other side of the bed and began to construct a large blue magic circle that could encompass the entire bed. Matsuko came to the near side and constructed an identical circle in red that meshed perfectly with the one Naruyo was making.
The constructed magic circle started to rotate slowly with red and blue alternating sides over and over.
After about a minute, Sakari and Hinari stormed into the room to see what was happening. "What the..what's this?"
"If you have time to ask questions, help us stabilize Ko-chan's spirit. Take elixirs." Matsuko had no time to talk and could only throw bottles at them before channeling more power into the circle
"Void Shattering Elixir?" "Infinite Desires Elixir?" Both Hinari and Sakari staggered when they realized they were holding a fortune in their hands
"Help or get out!" Matsuko's anger flared and blew away their hesitations. They drank the elixirs which immediately made their powers skyrocket before moving to help with the circle.
As the harmony spell continued to slowly circle, the chaotic circles of magic spiraling around Kogamo's body started to even out. The volatile magic crackles shrank back into the magic circles and they started to spin in time with the harmony spell.
"Good. She's stabilized, now compress the magic back into her body so her spirit heart can form." Matsuko narrated the next step of the commands.
"Easy to say..." Hinari grit her teeth as her entire body was wracked with pain from the exertion.
The harmony magic slowly shrank its radius, causing the black magic circles to be forced into a smaller and smaller area. Eventually, they could barely be seen, only exiting her body every second or two.
At this moment, Hinari was the first one to fall. Even with one of the top elixirs, her untrained abilities could not keep up with the demands of the current operation. She fell to her knees and slowly slumped to the side, unconscious.
With one side of the magic circle losing its power source, the magic started to orbit lopsidedly, and it was in danger of falling apart entirely. Matsuko grit her teeth, but made a forbidden move at the last second.
"[Power of Compulsion: Hinari, Stand up and resume your spot at the circle.]" She tossed two more elixirs over towards Hinari and they shattered above her, soaking her body with the liquid. Hinari's body floated up and resumed its place next to the circle glowing brightly with magic, but there was no life in Hinari's eyes. The magic spun autonomously through her body, powered by the magic elixirs soaking into her body.
The magic circle stabilized again with all four girls' efforts, and finally, a single point of black light started to shine inside Kogamo's chest. The light grew stronger, and soon it was strong enough to drown the room in darkness and drape it in an eerie purple light.
"We're almost there. We just have to last until her spirit heart gains its true form. Please, hold on a little longer..." Matsuko encouraged her friends, but she was sweating profusely, and the other three looked like they were on their last legs.
The light grew until it formed a purple sun larger than a walnut hovering above Kogamo's chest. It pulsed in tune with her heartbeat, and slowly seemed to be changing shape.
"What kind of spirit heart is this? Aren't they supposed to be the size of a pea? This is insane!" Sakari couldn't believe her eyes at the scene.
"Trigger scene. Must be intense." Naruyo gritted her teeth.
"I have an idea what it was." Matsuko felt nothing but empathy for what Kogamo must be feeling.
The shape changed more and more, flattening out and turning into an oval. The pulsing died down as the sun became more defined, and after several minutes, the final form revealed itself. A heart shaped lock and a key whose head was in the shape of a white flame.
"It's... a lock?" Sakari didn't know what to think. Normally, the spirit heart's shape represented the core of the individual's power, like a fireball, or a gust of wind, or a snowflake. What did a lock represent?
"Power fading... Not long..." Naruyo was staggering and panting.
The key slowly flew out of the lock and the lock descended into Kogamo's chest. After a few seconds, the key floated towards Matsuko, who held up her hand to it.
"This is.. your decision, Ko-chan?" Matsuko grasped the key and it burst into specks of light that all flew straight towards her heart. With one final flash of light, the key and lock were gone.
"Ugh...I'm done..." Sakari slumped forward and passed out onto the bed. The magic circle went out of control and shattered, causing a backlash shockwave that knocked Naruyo and Hinari off their feet. The magic faded from Hinari's body when she hit the floor.
Matsuko stayed on her feet, but she was utterly spent. "Ugh... at least... the dream didn't come to pass..." She sat down and started to meditate.
