Ko-chan’s Chronicles

Chapter 27: Ko-chan’s New Gear (7)

"What is going to happen to Asami?" I asked Naruyo in my room while she peeled the tape off of my hands.

"Suffer. Regret. Pain." Naruyo said matter-of-factly.

"Why does she hate me so much? She sounded like a completely different person today.." I winced as the last layer of tape started coming off, pulling on my skin.

"Jealousy is ugly. Mad that Matsuko liked you more." Naruyo pulled the last of the tape off with a jerk, causing an audible yelp.

"So... all this is because I went on a date with Matsuko?" I was more confused than ever, but I got a hug in response.

"Not your fault. Matsuko chose you. Don't doubt her." Naruyo struggled to explain her feelings, but I got the idea.

"Talk to her. She'll return tomorrow. Now sleep." Naruyo gave me another hug and left me alone. I still had questions but my body was exhausted and I was out as soon as I hit the pillow.

"Ugh.. What a mess. What the hell happened? Was it the date that sent her over the deep end?" Hinari sat at the table with a cup of tea with Naruyo and Sakari.

"Who knows. She's seemed a little off ever since Ko-chan joined the council." Sakari mumbled into her drink.

"Family stress. Position in danger. Meltdown understandable." Naruyo made her own guesses.

"Hmph, whether it was understandable or not, what she's done is unforgiveable. Something serious could have happened to Ko-chan after that long. We're lucky she's so damn flexible. A normal person would have been in the hospital after eight hours in that position." Hinari ranted some more while her knuckles turned white from how hard she was gripping her cup.

"Let's just wait until Matsuko returns. This crisis isn't over. Unless we do something, she will probably kill Asami when she learns what happened." Sakari sounded grave.

"I will intervene. She trusts me." Naruyo stood up.

"Fine. Let's put her in her room until then. I turned off her vibrators after she passed out, so she's probably sleeping now. With all the restrictions she got hit with, she probably won't cause any trouble for now." Hinari laid out the plan.

All three nodded and helped to carry Asami to her room. They would be careful to intercept Matsuko before she could find out what happened so they could keep her from going insane.

I slept soundly through the night, and I actually felt quite good in the morning. When I went to get out of bed is when I realized the difference. Moving around caused the vibrators inside me to shift, and it was very hard to ignore. I went over to the mirror and looked down at my crotch and saw the vibrators there, but I was unable to remove them.

No matter how hard I pulled, they refused to budge, like they were just another part of my body. The rings on my nipples were the same. It felt like my whole nipple would come off before the ring would.

"Haah.. this is going to take some getting used to.. Well.. this is the price I pay for my recklessness. I can't believe I didn't even think to check the coin in a situation that important." I admonished myself for my naivety as I got myself dressed.

"Well, at least the rings don't poke through my bikini top. Small blessings, small blessings." I rubbed my chest a little to make sure it wouldn't be immediately noticed.

After I checked that nothing was poking out, I joined the rest of the girls in the kitchen.

Sakari looked up from her cereal bowl first. "How are you feeling, Ko-chan? You had quite a day yesterday."

"Ah, I feel fine. Gladly, my new rings don't poke out of my top, and you can't see anything on bottom either." I opened and closed my legs to prove there was no protrusion.

"Too laid back. I'm jealous." Naruyo made the first comment.

"....Amen. Well, I'm glad you aren't feeling down about what happened to Asami. She went way too far." Hinari's mind was thrown off track by the response.

"Actually, I've been thinking. I think I feel a bit sorry for Asami. All she wanted was for Matsuko to like her." I told everyone what I had concluded. Sakari dropped her spoon, breaking the sudden silence that came over the room.

I got three blank stares back, which made me think I was wrong. "Wait, did I say something wrong?"

Hinari spoke up first. "No. I'm just glad you're such a forgiving girl, Ko-chan. We're lucky to have you here." She smiled genuinely.

"I also think I'm lucky to have met you." I laughed and sat down with a muffin to eat breakfast.

The door opened and Matsuko came into the foyer carrying a large box wrapped as a gift. She seemed to be in good spirits, but when she saw the three girls sitting around the table in silence, she stopped the greeting she was about to give. "Did something happen?"

Hinari smiled bitterly. "Nothing we couldn't handle, but you still need to know about it. Come over and have a seat."

Matsuko put her box on the couch and sat down at the table. "How bad is it? Did something happen to Ko-chan? Where is she?"

Sakari jumped in with a hand wave. "Oh, she's fine. I think she's studying in her room."

Naruyo wasn't quite so optimistic, "She shouldn't be fine. Very surprising."

Matsuko's happy attitude drained away when she heard those words 'Shouldn't be fine'. "What do you mean by that? Tell me everything right now." She started to grip her chair arms tightly.

"She fought. With Asami. She lost. Badly." Naruyo summarized the ordeal in as few words as possible.

Hinari said flatly. "You are going to have to be more descriptive than that or she's going to get the wrong idea, you know. You may have noticed this, but Asami has been acting more and more erratically in regards to Ko-chan lately. It started as just a few words here and there, or her interfering in Ko-chan's matters a bit, like when she changed the deadline for school uniform changes."

"Lately, it has been getting more and more extreme. At the convention, she said she deserved a dog costume, and fought with Erimi over it until she took matters into her own hands. This week, you may have noticed Ko-chan was wearing a hidden gag quite a lot, and every time someone asked her about it, she said "Asami was helping her with training", but that was a lie."

"After last night, I went and reviewed the dorm security footage, and what I found was Asami forcing the muzzle onto Ko-chan every morning, often followed by minutes of berating, slapping, and other kinds of abuse. Part of the reason she has been so hard to see around is because she would often go back into her room and cry after this happened. As to why she hid this all from us... I don't know the answer to that. What I do know is that this morning, Ko-chan fought back, since she wasn't in her training gear. This led to a challenge between them with the stakes of "the loser must leave"."

"Calm, calm, everything is fine now." Naruyo rubbed Matsuko's shoulders and tried to keep the flames under control. She barely kept it down and nodded to Hinari to continue.

"Well, as Naruyo said earlier, Ko-chan lost. Between a rigged coin flip, deceptive rules, and some cruel tricks, she was defeated badly. The new law was something like 'The loser must wear vibrators.' That's not the worst part though. After the challenge, Asami turned the vibrators to max and just left her there until we found her later that night when we got back."

"Show me. Show me how you found her. I need to know." Matsuko's eyes were burning in white flames that were already starting to spread to the rest of her body as the story was narrated, but she couldn't not know what happened to the girl she liked.

"Ma-chan. Please don't burn. She's fine." Naruyo moved from shoulder rubbing to hugging Matsuko from behind.

Hinari frowned, "I really don't want to, but.. You won't stop until you see it, right?" She pulled up her phone and showed Matsuko a picture of how they found Kogamo, hogtied, taped, and vibrating.

Naruyo seemed to know what was going to happen and her eyes glowed brightly with runic symbols. Matsuko erupted into flames that caused her chair to rapidly turn black and smolder. From Naruyo's eyes, a magic circle surrounded both of them and a chilly atmosphere filled with snow appeared instantly, contained to the two feet around them.

After about a minute of flames and snowflakes fighting and colliding that filled the entire room with mist, the spell shattered and the two girls were still there in the same position, but panting.

"Ma-chan... please..." Naruyo was panting much harder than Matsuko, and could barely get out any words at all.

Matsuko released a heavy breath and then patted Naruyo on the side. "...Thanks, you always know how to help, Na-chan." She stood up from the crumbling chair and helped Naruyo lay down on the couch. She knelt by her side for a while then stood up and turned around.

"I'm fine. Sorry for worrying you. This is all due to my inadequacies. I let her down. Please finish the story. What happened after you found her?" Matsuko seemed to have regained control of her emotions and sat down on a different chair.

Hinari also let out a breath, happy to still be in one piece and not cinders, but shocked at the candid admission of failure from Matsuko. "We released her, and after we heard the story from her, I went off to confront Asami. It ended up in another challenge between me and her."

Matsuko's lips turned up a little. "Based on your present condition, I guess you won."

Hinari smiled, "I guess you could say that."

Sakari chimed in from the side "She won thirty straight in rock-paper-scissors. You should have seen Asami's face, she looked like she lost her soul."

Matsuko's smile widened "And, the forfeit?"

Hinari frowned, "Well, I think you should see for yourself. She hasn't woken up since the laws hit her." She got up from her chair and led Matsuko to Asami's room. Inside, Asami was laying on her bed, naked, with her arms behind her in a reverse prayer.

Hinari closed the door behind her and let Matsuko look at Asami. "Here she is. What do you think?"

Matsuko's eyes flashed with rune symbols for a second and then she spoke. "Four laws interacted and amplified each other. They are not surface level laws like when you girls make silly bets about who's going to clean the dishes. These have become more metaphysical laws that govern her body directly."

"The original forfeit was just that Asami must have an invisible muzzle in her mouth unless the council allows otherwise. This kind of law can be manipulated and relies on having the physical object on hand to be placed in the mouth. Instead, this law physically controls the opening and closing of her mouth and its interior. During times she is banned from talking, her mouth will clamp shut on its own and the gag will materialize inside her mouth directly. When she is allowed to speak again, it will disappear in an instant. It's nearly impossible to skirt around this kind of law, and it's also far more difficult to break it without damaging her spirit."

"Similarly, the original forfeit was to have Asami wear an armbinder like Ko-chan has been. This can be hard to enforce, if the required item is not nearby, or if no one is present to put it on her. It's not like you can strap yourself into an armbinder. What actually happened is more like limb control. The law is controlling her arms and legs directly and forcing her to stay in a reverse prayer position. You'll notice it also affected her legs as well, since you could also call Ko-chan's boots position training."

"Your demand for her to wear the vibrating panties seems to have had less of a change, but still became more powerful. Instead of being attached to a piece of clothing, it seems like her nipples and crotch will vibrate on their own. Same effect, but impossible to escape. Down here, it will expand so that it feels like she is filled to the brim, but nothing is there to be removed, so there's no way to alleviate the feeling. A bit insidious, actually."

"Finally, your demand for her to wear Ko-chan's clothing seems to have evolved to something like 'Can only wear embarrassing clothing'. It seems like Ko-chan's wish to play dress up with us will partially come true after all."

"Speaking of this though, you said there was something like a remote? I'll be taking it." Matsuko held out her hand.

Hinari seemed to know this request was coming. "Of course, Ma-chan. I was saving it for you after all." She handed the remote with the 'A' to Matsuko.

"I want you to know I went out of my way to retrieve this one for you. Please remember this for next time." She also handed the remote with the 'K' on it to Matsuko, who smiled gently when she saw it. She rubbed it with a finger and it dissolved into blue specks that merged into her body.

"Don't worry. I don't forget my debts. Both for the remote and for standing up for her." She was silent for a second before continuing. "Asami is sleeping right now because four higher level laws merged with her spirit at the same time, but we can wake her up at any time. I need some alone time, Hinari."

"Of course. Before I go though, I think you should know what Ko-chan said this morning."

Matsuko heard the story and couldn't help but laugh. "Feels sorry? She just wanted me to like her? Well, I wish that were the truth. I hope she can retain that kind of optimism when she sees the true face of the world. Of course, this kind of attitude is part of why I like her so much. Alright, you can leave now."

"Have a nice chat, Ma-chan." Hinari closed the door quietly as she left.
