Harry Potter: The Legend of Nero Ravenclaw

Chapter 111: Sealing is an Art (2)

Professor Fu, still visibly energized by Nero's performance, turned back to address the class.

"Now that you've seen what precise execution looks like, let's talk about real-world applications.

Sealing isn't just an academic exercise. It's a practical art, used to stabilize cursed objects, suppress rogue spells, and even contain living spirits."

He walked to the front of the classroom, and gestured with a flick of his wrist.

A small lacquered wooden box, decorated with glowing golden inscriptions, floated to the front of the room.

He set it gently on the table.

"One of the most common uses of containment seals is in handling unstable magical artifacts or hazardous magical energy. We will now demonstrate with something slightly more practical."

With another movement of his hand, the professor lifted the lid.

Inside sat a faintly glowing stone, pulsing with an eerie violet light.

The moment the lid was removed, the air around it thickened, a static charge spreading through the classroom.

A few students flinched, some instinctively leaning back in their seats.
