Teen Wolf:Predator’s Path

Chapter 50 The First Clash

Half an hour back in time.

=====

After Lucas watched Allison drive away, he went back to his room.

Not much time passed before, while meditating, his heart started aching.

He leaned forward as he touched his chest in pain. Before he could think about why this was happening, a deep roaring sound reached his ears.

Lucas looked at the window in the direction of the sound, his expression changing completely as rage built up in his eyes.

"Allison!"

He grabbed the spear and jumped directly from the window, the landing not even making him flinch.

Lucas then rushed with all the speed he could muster toward the school.

Only a flicker of a shadow was visible as he dashed through people's backyards.

Not even a minute passed before Lucas was already in front of the main door.

He then took a step forward, entering the hallway.

A screeching sound echoed through the hallway as Lucas pointed his spear toward the lockers on the side.

The sound finally seemed to attract something. A large beast appeared on the other end of the hallway.

Its size could make one shiver in fright, and its deep red eyes could be seen clearly from a distance.

The beast roared at him, the sound seeming to shake the entire building.

Lucas's eyes remained on the Alpha, his roar not even making him flinch.

He slowly started walking toward it, the shadows hiding the emotions on his face.

"You shouldn't have come here."

Lucas's voice traveled through the quiet hallway.

"Now, you're my enemy."

The Alpha didn't give him any chance to continue. He sprinted toward Lucas.

Lucas made the same move, both jumping when they got near.

Staring intently at each other's throats.

The Alpha's claws flew right for his throat, but before he could succeed, Lucas blocked the blow with his spear.

Now they stood in opposite directions, observing each other's movements.

The Alpha looked at the person in front of him with ferocity, but with a hint of doubt in his pupils.

Lucas was someone who hadn't been on his radar until now.

He charged again, this time wanting to rip Lucas apart.

At the same time, Lucas lunged his spear at the Alpha's head.

With astonishing reaction speed, the Alpha dodged the tip of the spear.

Then, as he passed by, he swept his claws toward Lucas's chest. A tearing sound of fabric resounded in the silent space.

The Alpha slowly looked back at him, his mouth widening for a brief moment.

Before the expression completely disappeared as he stared at Lucas's uninjured chest. There was a claw mark on his jacket, but no blood coming out.

What the Alpha didn't see was that Lucas's skin in that area changed color for a second.

Lucas didn't give him time to react further. He attacked with all of his strength.

The Alpha dodged the attack by only an inch. When the spear hit the ground, cracks spread out in all directions.

The Alpha then furiously tried to stab Lucas in the throat with his claws.

At the same time, Lucas stabbed directly at his head.

It was like both were trying to die while taking the other one with them.

But in that moment, the Alpha's body twitched as he abandoned his attack and tilted his head, dodging the spear.

Before he could rejoice, the spear pulled back, taking a chunk of his skin with it.

The Alpha roared in anger and pain. Not giving Lucas any more chances to react, he punched him in the stomach, sending him flying right into the lockers.

"Ughh."

The punch knocked the air out of him, and he gasped as he tried getting up.

The Alpha's body still twitched in pain, the wound on his neck still bleeding.

He suddenly focused his eyes on Lucas's spear.

Then back on him, the Alpha's pupils dilated when he saw Lucas getting up.

Who seemed barely affected by his attack.

He glanced at Lucas one more time, then turned around and sprinted away.

Lucas supported his body with the spear. Only he knew how much he was suffering.

He slowly made his way toward the room the noises kept coming from.

The people inside now stared in panic at the barricaded door. The noise from outside had suddenly gone completely silent.

Allison put a hand over her mouth while staring at the door.

"Allison, it's me."

"Open the door."

Allison gasped in shock when she heard his voice, then frantically tried to move all the objects away.

"Wait, maybe it's that thing."

Jackson grabbed her hand, wanting to stop her.

"Get away."

She slapped his hand away while throwing everything aside from the door.

Scott and Stiles glanced at each other and moved to help, ignoring the angry Jackson.

Soon all the objects were moved away. Everyone held their breath as they stared at the door.

The door made a slight sound as it opened, Lucas coming into sight.

Standing straight, with a spear in his right hand, his upper jacket torn open, his serious expression eased when he saw Allison.

"Lucas!"

She lunged into his arms, hugging his body as tears started falling from her eyes.

"You came!"

He gently patted her back, calming her emotions.

"I'm here now, don't worry."

He whispered into her ear while hugging her tightly.
