Giving up on trying to find the book on her own, Sheila went to the reception counter. There sat a kind-looking elderly gentleman.

When Sheila spoke in faltering honorifics, the elderly man smiled softly.
“Of course. You’re very studious, wanting to learn history even before the written test.”
