Chapter 116: Cuck Kobra found out. Royal mausoleum. (R-18)
Lakeman indulged in debauchery every day and night, his hedonistic lifestyle uninterrupted for eight long days.
One restless night, King Cobra woke abruptly from a troubling dream. Unable to return to sleep, he decided to take a walk to clear his mind. As he wandered the halls, his thoughts turned to his wife, and he instinctively made his way to Titi's chambers.
Upon reaching her room, he heard the faint cries of a baby. Entering, he found Vivi wailing in her crib, her tiny face scrunched in distress. She had wet herself, but Queen Titi was nowhere to be seen.
"Maids!" Cobra called, his voice firm yet laced with concern.
The attendants, who had been stationed nearby, rushed in. "Change the princess's clothes," he ordered one of them.
The maid worked swiftly, replacing Vivi's damp garments and soothing her back to sleep. By the time the child had calmed, half an hour had passed.
Cobra's frustration mounted. His wife's absence was inexcusable, leaving their child alone in the middle of the night. Exiting the room quietly to avoid waking Vivi, he turned to the maids.
"Where is Queen Titi?" he demanded, his tone sharp.
One of the maids stepped forward hesitantly. "Your Majesty, Queen Titi instructed us to leave an hour ago. We don't know where she went."
Cobra's jaw tightened. "Fine. You're dismissed. Get some rest." He waved them off before setting out to search for Titi himself. His footsteps echoed in the quiet palace corridors as he wandered, his frustration growing with each passing moment.
Then, faintly, he heard her voice. It was coming from Lakeman's quarters. Quickening his pace, he approached the source of the sound. As he drew closer, her voice grew clearer—and with it, an unsettling realization. She sounded... pained? No, it was something else entirely.
