Chapter 90: Arranged marriage for Lakeman
In Marineford, Sengoku's office was shrouded in a heavy silence as he processed the report from Borsalino. The details were troubling, and he couldn't help but feel a surge of unease.
"What do you mean? Could you describe it clearly, Borsalino?" Sengoku's voice was steady, yet there was a hint of perplexity.
"Marshall, I really don't know," Borsalino responded, sounding as laid-back as ever, yet there was an underlying seriousness.
"Saint Lakeman changed the name of the kingdom after just a day of arriving. On that same day, CP7 eliminated all the nobles in the kingdom, along with many civilians. Since then, he hasn't left the palace for weeks."
Sengoku's frown deepened. "And now you're telling me Nico Robin is his slave?"
"That's right. I was ordered to train her, just like Hancock," Borsalino replied, a slight hint of boredom creeping into his tone. "Marshall, you know I don't like troubles. Tell me quickly what should I do?"
Sengoku sighed, his mind already spinning with the implications.
"Train her for now. I'll discuss it with the Five Elders and get back to you." After hanging up the call, he turned to Tsuru, who had been silently observing the conversation. "What do you think about this matter, Tsuru?"
Tsuru, the ever-composed Chief of Staff, adjusted her posture slightly before responding.
"Isn't it already clear, Sengoku? Despite his strength, which rivals that of an Admiral, Saint Lakeman remains a Celestial Dragon at heart—indulging in decadence and showing a particular lust for beautiful women."
She paused, her eyes narrowing slightly as she continued. "Just look at his entourage. Boa Hancock, Stussy, Nico Robin, Shirley, and his head maid, Lily. Each one of them is a beauty capable of toppling nations. As for what to do, just ask the Five Elders. They're the ones who will ultimately decide how to handle this."
