Chapter 43: Mr. Rayleigh, Do You Want to Be on the Elite List?
The next morning, in Lakeman's room,
Lakeman's room was bathed in the soft morning light, the scent of the night's passion lingering in the air. Hancock and the maid lay beside him, their bodies entwined in a peaceful slumber. As Hancock slowly woke, she felt the warmth of the maid's body next to hers and the reality of her situation washed over her.
Her delicate features were accentuated by the morning light, giving her an ethereal beauty. The maid, with her silver hair and striking blue eyes, stirred next to her, a contented smile on her face. Despite the peaceful scene, Hancock's thoughts were anything but calm.
"What are you doing here?" Hancock asked coldly, her voice slightly hoarse.
The door opened, and a middle-aged woman walked in, speaking calmly, "It's lunchtime. If you don't want to miss the afternoon practice, you should get up and wash up now."
"Got it," Hancock replied calmly.
"Besides, your course ends next week, and I have nothing more to teach you," the middle-aged woman continued. "I only have one piece of advice."
Hancock's eyes were sarcastic, and she asked amusedly, "Advice?"
"It's impossible for you to go back to your old life. Accept the new life as soon as possible while the young master likes you," the middle-aged woman said lightly, not caring about Hancock's attitude.
After saying that, she walked out of the room.
"..." Hancock remained silent for a long time, her expression gloomy.
