Chapter 46: What A Charming Devil
"But that’s not fair," Serena said, her voice a mix of a pout and genuine protest as she tightly held the silk sheet against her chest.
"What’s not fair?" Lucien asked smoothly.
He stood up from the bed, utterly unbothered by his nakedness, and placed his hands flat against his waist to show off his powerful, masculine physique.
His long hair tumbled loosely over his broad shoulders, catching the faint morning light.
Meghan stared up at him, completely dumbfounded by the sheer presence of the being standing before them.
He was breathtakingly beautiful. Her eyes locked onto his gaze, a deep, piercing red and the other a striking greenish-blue. It was a combination so unique, so entirely exotic, that she found herself utterly captivated.
That fierce, otherworldly beauty was exactly what she loved most about him.
Serena shifted slightly, finding her voice. "Well... since you copy the skills of the women you have sex with, why can’t we just ask you for it?"
Lucien chuckled. He slowly crawled back onto the mattress, sliding toward her until his face was mere inches from hers.
The dual intensity of his heterochromatic eyes pinned her in place.
"Well, I don’t willingly copy your skills," Lucien said, his voice dropping to a low, seductive purr. "It’s an automatic process while having sex with you. And since I’m the one who ultimately triggers your rank-up, you have to earn it. After all... there will be many more women joining my bed in the future."
He flashed a confident smirk and leaned in, kissing her lips briefly. Serena pouted her lips as he pulled back, a soft hum of frustration escaping her throat, though her racing heart betrayed her.
Pulling away completely, Lucien stretched his limbs. "Why don’t we dress up? We have to go to the assembly ground for that stupid holy class test."
The two girls nodded, preparing to slip out of the bed. But the moment they attempted to swing their legs over the edge, their knees buckled.
Their legs wriggled and shook weakly beneath them, completely drained by the relentless, hard pounding Lucien had given the both of them the night before.
"I think you broke us, Lucien," Meghan groaned, leaning heavily against the mattress with a breathless, exasperated laugh.
Lucien smiled warmly when she said that, thoroughly satisfied with his own stamina. Serena instantly began to channel her divine mana, intending to cast a restoration spell on themselves, but Lucien reached out and gently caught her wrist.
"Wait," he murmured, his eyes flashing. "Don’t use your skill. I want to test the new skill I just acquired from you."
Serena blinked in surprise as Lucien stepped closer. Closing his eyes, he channeled the newly synthesized, high-density angelic energy swirling within his expanded core.
He extended his hands toward their naked bodies. A soothing, radiant golden light emanated from his palms, washing over their skin.
Almost instantly, a profound, warm wave of comfort flooded between their thighs, erasing the deep ache and knitting their exhausted muscles back together.
After about two minutes, the weakness completely vanished. Feeling entirely refreshed and rejuvenated, they were finally able to dress while Serena gave Meghan one of her uniforms and head out to join the rest of the students gathering at the expansive academy assembly ground.
The courtyard was bustling with noise, but the moment Lucien walked into view, a figure broke away from the crowd.
His stepsister, Adeline, spotted him instantly. A bright smile lit up her face as she ran across the stones to meet him.
Without a shred of hesitation, she threw her arms around him, pulling him into a deep, passionate kiss right in front of everyone.
They savored each other’s lips for a long moment before Adeline finally stepped back slightly, keeping her arm tightly wrapped around his. She turned her gaze toward the two flustered, dumbfounded girls standing behind him.
"Well, I’m Adeline, his stepsister. It’s nice to meet you both," she said, offering a warm, perfectly sweet smile. She then tilted her head slightly. "And hello, Serena."
Serena’s mind raced as she stared at the stunning girl, this was the first time she spoke a word to her, even though they were in same class. ’What a Charming Devvil...’ she thought to herself.
Adeline was widely known as the most beautiful girl in Class A. ’How did I not know Lucien was related to her? Maybe he wasn’t attending this school.’
Meghan, meanwhile, was having an entirely different internal crisis. ’His stepsister is his woman? How is that even possible?’ She narrowed her eyes.
’Well, I don’t care what their past is, as long as she doesn’t try to take him away from me.’
Fixing Adeline with a fierce, cold death glare, Meghan stepped forward and boldly wrapped her arms around Lucien from behind, pressing herself against his back.
Adeline’s warm smile stiffened, and the two girls immediately began fiercely wrestling with their eyes, a silent, suffocating tension sparking between them.
Not wanting to be left behind, Serena stepped up to his other side, taking his free hand and resting her head gently against his shoulder.
Lucien simply smiled, highly amused by the way these three beautiful women were curling themselves all over him.
From the far edge of the assembly ground, Damian watched the display. His jealousy had reached an absolute, scorching peak.
Watching Lucien handle the most desirable girl in the academy made his blood boil.
He wanted nothing more than to kill the bastard on the spot, to slap Adeline’s face for touching him so familiarly, and to strike the other two girls for the shameless way they draped themselves over him.
The brown-haired demon girl holding Lucien’s back was unfamiliar, but she was undoubtedly, fiercely beautiful.
Forcing a dark smirk onto his face to mask his rage, Damian muttered under his breath, "If I can’t take Adeline away from you, I’ll just take another one of yours. I’m sure they’ll agree to switch to a real man."
A firm hand suddenly tapped his shoulder from behind.
Damian whirled around, letting out a heavy, irritated sigh when he saw who it was. "What the hell do you want, Isolde?"
Isolde stood there, looking at him with a cool, calculating expression. A slow, knowing smile crept onto her lips. "Well... I was thinking, how about we make a deal?"
