Loraine dashed forward with all the strength in her legs, running as fast as she could go, her white hair flickering in the wind behind her.

Yura grinned at the approaching Loriane, not a hint of fear in her eyes as she stood with a smug stature, an amused glint in her eyes.

"Charging straight into the frey, huh?" Yura mused, a mocking chuckle escaping her lips. "Foolish, but brave in it’s own right."

Loraine grit her teeth as she swung forward with every thing she had, her [Twin Steel Cleavers] glinting In the moonlight as she delivered a powerful slash toward Yura, the crimson haired woman sidestepping her attack with relative ease.

’She’s fast!’ Loraine thought to herself, having to use [Maiden’s Intuition] to barely be able to comprehend her speed, her movements fluid and fast as lightning even in her laid back nature.

"Tch," Loraine clicked her tongue, spinning around to deliver two more slashes, Yura chuckling as she effortlessly dodged them, blocking the last one with her spear before pushing Loraine back.

Loraine blinked in surprise as she was hurled backwards, flying through the air with a slight shove before finding her footing, flaying her arms as she almost lost her balance, a horrified look on her face as she gazed at Yura.

’What the hell!?’ Loraine breathed, her chest rising and falling with adrenaline, a chill running down her spine.

"You’re too aggressive, you waste precious energy fighting like that, it’s how you tire yourself out so quickly." Yura said, her form vanishing for a split second as she moved in a violent body flicker.

Loraine’s eyes scanned the battlefield, darting around as she couldn’t find Yura anywhere, a sense of panic flooding her veins before she felt a small tap on her shoulder, her head snapping back to meet Yura’s smug grin.

Yura spun her spear around to strike at Loraine, but the white haired maiden managed to dodge the attack, leaning her back towards the ground as she sharp head of the spear missed her by mere inches, Yura’s eyes glinting with a hint of surprise.

"Oh? You got good reflexes, not bad," Yura grinned.

’She’s toying with me, and even then I barely had any chance to dodge that, I could’ve lost my head there!’ Loraine thought to herself, wondering if Yura was actually trying to spar with her or if she was trying to kill her.

She didn’t waste another second, as immediately after Loraine counter attacked, her arms flaying as she delivered two more slashes at the crimson haired woman, Yura blocking each strike with little effort, much to Loraine’s frustration.

Sparkes flew every as steel met steel, Loraine trying to find an opening in Yura’s defenses, but the crimson haired woman had none, as she simply moved too fast for Loraine to be able to take advantage of them.

"Alright, I guess I’ll stop playing around then!" Loraine said, utilizing every ounce of strength in her body, Yura raising a brow at her words as she sidestepped another of Loraine’s slashes.

"You say that as if you have any chance of beating me," Yura smirked, gently pushing the maid on the back as she crashed to the ground, dust clouds surrounding the white haired maiden as she took some damage.

"You have yet to impress me with a performance like that, I hope you can keep going, you showed so much promise earlier."

The damage notification flashed in Loraine’s peripheral vision, her eyes swimming with the haze of pain for a moment as she felt her ribs sting, pushing herself off the ground as she glared angrily at Yura’s dominating stance.

"Urgh...." Loraine grunted in pain, rising to her feet. She turned to glare at the crimson haired woman, her eyes burning with determination.

"I’m just getting started," Loraine said, her voice full of conviction as she took a deep breath to calm her nerves, utilizing [Maiden’s Intuition] to heighten her senses, [Mystic Amplification] kicking in simultaneously as Loraine felt her focus sharpen to a massive degree.

Every nerve of her body working together to grant her laser sharp focus, the aura surrounding her changing immediately as Yura noticed it within seconds, a surprised blink appearing on the woman’s face as she felt the magical energy radiating off Loraine.

’Oh? Now this is interesting~’ Yura grinned in excitement, she hadn’t been entertained by a promising adventurer in a long time, her eyes gleaming with newfound interest.

Loraine dashed forward once more, her eyes sharpened with perseverance as she appeared before the crimson haired woman once more, raising her [Twin Steel Cleavers] to strike, Yura already getting into a defensive position.

Just when Yura was about to block Loraine’s attack, predicting where she was going to strike, the white haired maiden shifting her slash’s trajectory and aimed it at her chest, Yura being forced to use more speed than she originally intended to block the attack in time.

The shockwaves of the attack reverberated through Loraine’s arms, the white haired maiden gritting her teeth in frustration, as even though she was perceiving Yura’s intent, she couldn’t take advantage of the opening she created in time, as Yura could still block her strikes.

"You almost got me there, not bad~" Yura said in an approving tone, "You’re more tactical than I gave you credit for, changing your attack last second like that, almost caught me off guard."

She suddenly moved behind Loraine with superhuman speeds, appearing behind the white haired maiden before sweeping her off her feet with one swift kick, Loraine gasping in surprise as she landed on her back, Yura’s spear rapidly descending to meet her face.

Loraine grit her teeth as she moved her head out of the way, avoiding the stab as the blade missed her barely, rolling off the ground as she prepared to strike, her blades glowing brightly as she used [Cleave].

Yura’s eyes widening as she felt the sheer power of the Skill Loraine was using, a small unexpected chill running down her spine. She felt the way the wind warped around Loraine’s glowing cleavers, a sense of danger flooding her nerves.
