A submarine surfaced nearby.
A man wearing a spotted hat leaned out urgently.

He tossed Luffy down toward the submarine while blue flames burst from his body.
Then he charged toward the rain of light.
"Bepo! Set sail!"
Trafalgar Law caught Luffy.
The submarine immediately began diving, disappearing beneath the sea.

"Straw Hat Luffy must not die!!"
Marco shouted while facing Kizaru, panting heavily.
Jinbe wasted no time.
He plunged into the ocean and quickly followed the submarine.

Countless golden photons gathered in the sky, forming Kizaru's tall figure.

Space itself shattered under the pressure.

Cold sweat appeared on Kizaru's forehead.
He slashed once with his light sword and instantly retreated, dissolving into countless particles of light.

Space twisted and split apart from that single strike.
The photons regrouped in the sky.
"That was terrifying… I almost died."
Kizaru said with lingering fear.
"Your opponent…"
"…is only me!!"
Whitebeard's overwhelming aura exploded outward.
Black-red lightning spread across the entire Marineford battlefield.
A vast golden radiance erupted.
Sengoku's body rapidly expanded—
Transforming into a gigantic Golden Buddha.
"Whitebeard!"
